We were not sure how or dog Zeus was going to behave in boarding for a couple days as this was his first time. He have back happy and fairly calm which means to me he was well taken care of. And judging by the pics on the TV in the waiting room He had fun playing with the other pups. We will definitely be back.

I love taking Peppy here. This is my second time for 2 days... her tail is wagging going in and wagging coming out. She's diabetic with insulin shots. Have had no problems. Staff is very friendly and perfect for your furry family to stay while you enjoy your non furry family at the dells!!!

Had a very very poor experience...wish could go minus on the review. Left my lil dog for 2 days after reading the reviews.The moment we picked her she looked uncomfortable. Her eyes were red...her paws bruised..and a white slime like thing all over her tongue.What appalled me was the reaction of the staff. Absolutely casual as if nothing happened. When asked, The attendant told me upper layer of tongue seems to be peeling because my dog keeps her tongue out!(she is 3 and always been like that). We cancelled our second phase of vacation ,drove back 4 hours to take her to vet and they confirm it is some sort of chemical burn due to contact with some substance.she was in a badshape...the vet told us to watch out and rush for emergency if her health takes a nosedive at night as no one knew the extent of contactWe are told she might take around 2weeks to recover completely .Would never recommend this place to anyone.

First time overnight boarding while we were enjoying the dells. All I have to say is WOW AND AWESOME! Bruce and Eric and staff were so great, accommodated us and made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. My dog was also bathed and so happy when we picked him up. Definitely will bring our dog there every time when we go to the dells. Thank you guys...Romeo so happy and so are we!

They took excellent care of our elderly dog Mya. Very easy to make a reservation and friendly staff. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely use them again when we are in the Wisconsin Dells area!

Absolutely LOVE Pet Retreat! Ive taken many of my dogs here over the years. Done doggy daycare, grooming, boarding, and even training. HIGHLY recommend going here. My dogs always have so much fun. My cocker spaniel goes for grooming and always goes in matted as he hates being brushed. He comes out absolutely adorable every time! This time they even gave him a mohawk per my request!

I took my dog here in May for two nights. My dog is very picky about sleeping in his kennel at night, and at home, he has constant access to food and water. The staff were accommodating and allowed me to set up his kennel, food bowl, water bowl, bed, and toys in his room. I was told he enjoyed his stay, and he seemed happy when I picked him up. I would recommend this boarding facility. 😁

I found this place by mistake while driving around. I called and ultimately made the appointment for a grooming of my puppy. The place is very clean, no smells, nothing showing that it boards animals and does grooming. I was very impressed with the business and the employees. Sue was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in deciding what actions to take in regards to grooming my puppy. I was even more impressed when they called 2 hours later and said he was done. I unfortunately had a bad grooming the last time he got groomed so I was concerned about finding someone trustworthy. When I came in and they brought him out he was absolutely perfectly groomed and he was happy. I am attaching the end result as I know grooming is not easy all the time and I was very impressed with the job they did. Thank you very much Sue and staff.

Great place. They take good care of my dogs and we have never had an issue with that. It has changed a bit since the ownership change and the prices have increased. It’s still a great place just make sure to reserve in advance. Also Bruce rocks!!! **edited to add a star** Forgot to mention that they do a great job accommodating you and your pets. I called last minute to see if they had availability since we had to go out of town for the night last minute. They were able to take us in without any issues.

People are so friendly and so good with the dogs. My dog, which is black lab and mastiff, got a bath and nails clipped. He came out so soft, shiny and smelled great!. He was happy! And so was I! Will definitely take him back.

Boarded our dog here during a 2 night stay in the Dells. No complaints, but it would have been nice to have updates/photos uploaded or something like that to make sure our fur baby was having a good time.

This place is great. The staff is extremely nice, the facility is very nice, well kept, clean and spacious. It was our dog Copper's first time boarding at this facility for the weekend and she had a ton of fun and was tired out from all the activity (she's a vizsla/weim mix so it's hard to tire her out!) Thanks for the great experience. We'll be back!

Honesty goes a long way, even in the society we live in today. Some places care more about making money than telling the truth. This is one of those places. Had honesty been their primary concern the suffering my niecepup is going thru could've been completely avoided. You'd be better off leaving your pet at a cheaper boarding kennel, these folks care only about your money! I'd leave 0 stars if I could! In addition legal action has been taken to assure they have to employ a Veterinarian Technician at the bare minimum, that's right folks they do not currently employ one at all that is competent enough to diagnose if something is seriously wrong with your furbaby, they are just overpriced dog sitters. Pay a friend or family member $500 to take care of your 4 legged kiddos, the money would be better spent!

I take my Standard Poodle puppy here for grooming. She always looks great and she never wants to leave when I pick her up. I love that my pup always has a positive grooming experience!

I'm disappointed with this place. I took my dog here for a 2 night stay, hoping that they would take good care of him since prices are not that cheap. When we were on our way home after picking him up, I noticed that he had a wound on his leg, I called to see what had happened, and their response wasn't clear. It's frustrating not to know what happened to my dog.

We are attending puppy class and it is so much fun! The instructor, Sebastian, gives lots of good information for us while making it fun for the puppies. We are looking forward to the next obedience class to help our puppy adjust. Highly recommend for new puppy parents!

If you are going to cut my poor dog while having him groomed.. you better let me know..never will I take my fur baby there..Katie is the groomer..then does the rear paws not the front..puppy was wearing harness and a collar with his tags on it..of curse she doesn’t put the collar on him..

Great place to take your dog for a play day while you enjoy the Dells. We took our dog three times during the week and he was exhausted when we picked him up. Very convenient to Country Roads RV park.

We had a very happy girl after her grooming appointment. She is a 6-month-old Aussie and I always seem to need a little extra help trimming her nails. I took her in to be groomed (washed, nail trim, and ear clean). She came back out so fluffy and clean with an adorable bandana on. I was able to drop her off very easily (they came out and got her when I let them know I arrived). It took about an hour and the receptionist I interacted with was very friendly. I will definitely be back! The appointment was roughly $35 and I left a tip. 😊

Was quoted almost half of what we were charged total. We were charged $66 extra for picking dogs up 19 minutes after the noon deadline because of the traffic. We were charged some "peak" charge of an additional $30 and also a $30 charge "for letting dogs out by themselves," which was not stated anywhere either.The facility did not smell or look as clean as last year. This was not a happy experience with our fur kids. We probably will not get a follow-up on this issue.

This was Oliver's first time being away from me, it was a great experience for him. My baby boy got to play with other dogs his size, which was super nice. When I picked Oliver up he was so happy to see me, thank you pet retreat for taking such good care of my baby if/when I'm in the area again I definitely will be sending him here again. 🙂

My first time using a doggy daycare/pet-sitter and I love this place. I left my French Bulldog for a day while I did activities and she loved it!! Everyone was wonderful, super sweet to me and my Frenchie, they even called my vet to get her vaccine records for me to save time!!

I can't say enough about this place, you can tell it's not just a business and they love what they do. I would recommend this place above anything else, every time. They regularly post photos and videos on Facebook where you can see your pet enjoying themselves. If they were able to get a login page where you can see the animals live that would be the pinnacle of the experience.

One of the front desk ladies was VERY rude. Terrible attitude. Brought my elderly dog to get his nails trimmed, the lady that was doing it was far from gentle, bending his legs all around. Told her he was really old so mobility was not the best. Even after telling her that she was still pretty rough with him. Will never go back. 0/10 do NOT recommend.

We adopted our "pup" Fry about a month ago and we decided to board him while staying at a resort in town there.First off this place is very cute and decorated festively. The ladies that work there are very nice. They have many inexpensive different types of treats you can purchase for your pup. You can also bring along blankets and treats and toys from home, and the boarding itself is VERY reasonably priced compared to Chicago.The dogs get a lot of outdoor exercise and play time. We were worried about our pup socializing because we only had him for a short time, but these ladies got him socialized well with other doggies and he played so much that he slept the entire way home and the rest of the day when we got home. He didn't want to leave.We will definitely bring Fry back here when we visit the Dells in the future. It's like he had his own little vacation while at pet retreat.
