Ok. For real though. I had really low expectations and in the end I walked away completely embarrassed about that. This place rules. The pancakes could have been those thin floppy continental breakfast style garbage, they were not. So fluffy and delicious. The sausage was clearly homemade and high end vs those Jimmy Dean frozen varieties. A+ biscuits and gravy. Just incredible all around.Do not sleep on this place. Literally. Line is out the door after about 9am, but even then, just a short wait, and well worth it. We can't wait to come back.

We almost turned around because there was a line outside. Glad we stuck it out. Food was pretty good all around. Our server was very nice as well. I took off two stars because of the price, wait-line and cheesy gift shop you have to walk through on the way in and out. Mainly though I think it was pretty expensive since we don’t really eat that much. Aside from the line and price it was nice. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Wow!!! Awesome experience all around. My family and I were traveling back from Green Bay for the Packers Family Fun Night and stopped in the Wisconsin Dells for brunch at Paul Bunyan's cook shanty. It was just simply amazing! There was a really long line to get in, but it did move rather quickly. And it was so worth the wait. They bring out all of the food at once, and you just serve yourself whatever portions you want. Pancakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and ham was what we had. They also have biscuits and gravy, but we didn't have that for our meal. Oh, did I mention they start you out with some of the most delicious donuts ever made!!!??

We were told that this was the place to go in Wisconsin dells, although we agree that it's a cool concept, the food was not what we expected. We got there early , so we were seated right away. The reason I gave extra stars was for their service . We ordered breakfast family style and realized quickly after paying quite a bit, it was not up to par. Our potatoes were hard. The coffee was great and the doughnuts were OK. Everything else was super dense . It's not a place I would recommend , unless you want to go for the the theme 😉and gift shop. Their service justified the price for us.

Paul Bunyan’s is a great family-friendly restaurant. They serve all you can eat breakfast family style. The donuts they serve as a starter a delicious and remind me of mini-donuts. The rest of the meal includes eggs, sausage, ham, fried potatoes, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. They also offer an option fruit cup for additional charge. Overall, the food is what you expect from a buffet-style restaurant. It’s nothing fancy but it’s decent and offers a good variety and large portions. They have large tables for big groups and have a cute gift shop.

Breakfast all you can eat $18.99. It's not worth it, You get a bowl of scrambled eggs, bowl of cut up potatoes as hash browns, a plate with ham and sausage links, biscuits & gravy 🤮 and a plate of pancakes brought to your table and when you want more you call the waitress Not very much to choose from. The girl that seated us wasn't too bright. Our waitress was a sweetheart she gets 5 Stars! Later after we left, a person that know told us they had worked there in the past and informed us that they reheat food that hasn't been eaten and served again to other customers. So for now knowing this and for the price it's not worth the money. We will never return unless I was coming to pick up the waitress for a date 😁 just kidding, I'm married.Which dishes do you recommend? NONE

You are probably wondering why I gave 5 stars for everything, but not overall... Well the food was very good and plenty of it, as it is an all you can eat kind of place. That being said, I don't like that style of eating. If there was an option for not all you can eat (family style) dinning, I would have gave it 5 stars. The food was very good and it was a fun place. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Had a family breakfast there on a Saturday morning. Breakfast buffet is rather odd. 1. Order drinks most are included in the price. Taste: Awful. 2. They bring out donuts. Taste: Denise and greasy aftertaste. Awful. 3. They bring out tiny bowls of food. Pancakes, eggs, potatoes, ham & sausage. Taste: Dense pancakes with a horrible baking soda aftertaste as if they dumped a full cup of soda into the pancakes. Eggs & ham were decent. Sausage was worse than Beef Jerky. The waitresses were overworked but were polite and helpful. The shop was cute. Don’t waste your money.

Weekend brunch was served family style with a set price, and was so good! Best donuts we've ever had. The only unfortunate thing is that the variety we were given was so good that we didn't have much room to order more plates, since it's bottomless brunch. We did order more donuts though. Some families might not enjoy being sat close to other people, so beware that seating is limited and a bit picnic style. The tables are grouped with 8 seats, so a group of 4 sits near a couple or another group of 4, etc.Parking: It was a busy day and we found a spot without too much trouble, but during peak season I think it might be tough. Big parking lot but a lot of people are trying to cram in to brunch.
