I have always had great experiences with this veterinarian's office. I have been a customer/client for 12 years, 2 dogs. They always seem very comfortable with my large breed dogs. I used to live in madison and traveled there for all of our dog's appointments due to the service. I now live closer but pass many different veterinary businesses on the way there.

I decided to transfer my fur baby to this hospital, I was referred to Dr. Janelle Keefer by family and friends. Her decision making skills are impressive. She made a firm plan of action to help Pancake be more comfortable until fully healed. That gave me relief. The whole team treated Cakes as if she was their own. Dr. Janelle is exceptional. With her help, I look forward to all my animals living a long and cheerful life.

Miracle workers!!!We think our Cat was attacked by something. His back leg was broke in two places and his backside was split wide open. Dr. Rodger performed a miracle. When Bandit went in for surgery his sacral nerve was laying on the table. After several months of healing and having the pins removed- Bandit is just like before. He doesn’t even limp. It’s amazing!!! Thanks to everyone at the Dells animal Hospital for all the love and support. It’s incredible- this review can’t describe how horrific his injury was before surgery. Thanks Dr. Rodger! You’re very good at what you do.

Great place but I don't believe I'm welcome anymore... I can be very gullible and I believe I gave consent for staff to over medicate my small dog with vaccines he became very ill. Was originally just in for his annual heartworm test and left with six or so vaccines that I was talked into.. I didn't know any better and I'm not a veterinarian. Dogs 5 pounds vaccine's almost killed him. Before this place was decent. Cost for harmful vaccines exceeded $300 I called once more recently too ask about tick collar recommendations... I told the girl on the phone dog is 5 pounds she said yes that will work perfect for a 60 pound dog...

Our dog was very sick, called at 530 pm. Wouldn't look at her, told us to go to Madison. We've been going there for five years. 65 miles to Madison. Been happy with them till now. Very disappointed. This was an emergency!

Contacted the Dells Animal Hospital on a Saturday when my dog got into a beehive. They were able to advise me how to care for him in great detail over the phone. He is on the mend now and we are sooooo grateful for their assistance. Our boy beans will be back in action soon.

I had a puppy that was 14 weeks old who had somehow crawled up my car door and squeezed itself out a cracked window, while I was dropping my son off at baseball practice. My puppy was injured very badly. It was a Saturday. I took my dog to the Madison Emergency vet. $850 later they told me my dog needed surgery that was well over the $5000 mark. They kept my dog overnight. The whole time I was beyond devastated. I got my puppy the next day. I was planning on having a surgery that would seriously set me back. The specialist was going to be another week. The price was getting steeper. I called to area vets and the Dells Animal hospital could get me in and preform the surgery. While doing the surgery Dr Roger found that not only was her hip broke but her knee was shattered. He talked me through what kind of life she would have with a leg that would not grow and would be in the way. We made the choice to amputate. My puppy was so happy to be home a week later. She did not miss her leg. The whole surgery, week long stay and multiple blood transfusions saved my puppy from the pain she was in. This was all more affordable than the original quote of the Madison Vet. My Chesapeake could still swim, run, hunt and was in no pain.The Dells Animal hospital can make the tough calls to save your pet. They see things that others don’t. They take time for the owners to understand. Best of all they care for the furry friends in a way we can’t. I highly recommend this hospital. This is the only place I do business with!

Dells Animal Hospital was busy when we visited but they all were very kind and caring. Seemed that there was some confusion at the front desk with charts getting mixed up but the staff quickly resolved the issue. Dr Julie was exceptional in taking her time with us and making us feel confident that our little dog was in capable and compassionate hands. There are some vets who seem to be more concerned with the business part of their practice and are less concerned with truly caring for the animals and their families. This was not the case at Dells. Thank you Dr Julie and staff ! Kassidee is doing well!

Very mixed about my feelings concerning Dells AH. Some aspects & people are top notch, others like support staff not so much (keep an eye on how they treat your pups). This Hospital is very business (billable) orientated not so much care orientated. Question everything, ask why, how much and about continuing care. The more you know, the better your pet will be taken care of properly. An injured or sick pet can be emotionally overwhelming so try and stay calm & keep thinking.Dr. Keefer is great. 👍

Been going here since late 2018 always paying cash over 100$ cash in 2020 they did updates on vaccinations, i asked if ther be any allergic reactions they said no. So i left 10 min drive as soon as i pulled in the driveway he lost all control of walking gasping for air his eyes were so wide i mad it back to hospital they said wow never ssen a reaction like that but its 1 in a million, long story short they treated him but still cant tell me what he was allergic to, it is appalling, they care more about money that your pets health there receats are inconsistent never showing amount u gave them and cash back. With that said resinntly My 10year old shitzu had to be seen they asked me to send pics and with different numbers it was thru Google, I then called the clinic and asked about the google number she said how weird dont know about that, uggg i was in need of comfort me in any way it was a mess he needed to be seen and they didnt take it seriously it was nerve-wracking after sending pics to 2 different numbers they said they were going to have to put him under and coughterize his anal glad it would be 500 to 630.00 I had to pay all at once, I was appalled by this, it shows that they don't care about there pet patients 1st money is first, I'm appalled by there way of treating customers, and not keeping their records on severe allergic reactions, I have found a wonderful caring vet in my local town she is heaven sent she cares about truly is going to look at all records i have and treat accordingly.... she is a blessing he needed antibiotics he is healing and not i pain, he had a ruptured anal gland.... I will never return to the Dells animal hospital ever they continue to ask me to rate them, so I'm writing this, God bless KRISTENA DAMPIER

We are new to the Dells Animal Hospital this is our first visit we were treated like family they took time to find answers to some issues instead of making appointments for future care now we can start treatment right away and the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend and have found our new vet.

Seriously I can’t say enough good things about this vet office! Shawna Dummer, a tech there is one of the most amazing souls we have ever encountered & the most helpful with EVERYTHING! All the people there show they genuinely care about your furry love ones from the beginning to the very end when they cross that rainbow bridge! They fix other vets mistakes & show nothing but compassion & understanding! Grooming, also magnificent, Olivia is the absolute best with uneasy pups and really builds a bond with them! Dr. Julie is a saint! Filled with knowledge & explains things so we actually understand them! 12/10 would definitely recommend!

We have been with this vet for many years. The owner has retired now but still works there and helps out. We mostly see Dr Anita. We love her. She has always been wonderful to our pets. Very knowledgeable and caring. They do not prescribe or perform lots of tests that you don't need just to make money. I should also mention that their prices are very reasonable for our area. But, I will say, now that Roger retired and I guess a Doc left they are short staffed and extremely busy. However, most always they make time in their busy schedules to fit us in if it's urgent. THANK YOU! The Staff.. everyone that works there... they're all great! Dr. Anita.. She's the BeSt!!!

WOW! I am blown away at the AMAZING people that are working today, from reception, to vet tech, to DVM, to the lady who explained the medication on the way out! Dr. Janelle Keefer, DVM and her team was just PHENOMENAL! We just moved to the area 3 weeks ago and haven't gotten the dogs care switched to closer to home but that didn't stop anyone from REMARKABLE care of our Big Guy/ Old Man/Bube/Bo-Bos! He was diagnosed with a colitis, UTI and anaplasmosis (although on a scheduled flea and tick medication and gets his annual Lyme booster), he will be on a couple different antibiotics for the next month but should make a full recovery!

My dog had eaten some mouse poison in a neighbors garage and I had no idea what to do. I called Dells Animal Hospital and got instructions right away on what to do. However, if that didn't work to bring her in immediately. I'm about a half hour away and as soon as I got there they took Eenie, my dog, right in and attended to her. After treatment they thoroughly explained that if certain symptoms continued to call Middleton which they gave me a brochure for. Eenie responded very well to the treatment she received at Dells Animal Hospital and is doing fine today.Thank you to the Dells Animal Hospital for the care for all of our dogs throughout the years we have been going to you.Steve Meloy

they help work with you if your on tight cashonly thing i had an issue with is i called to have my cat looked at for an emergency. lady on phone told me they are to busy that i can go to middleton wi. 10 mins later my cat was suffering even more and had passed away. i called back and they where able to take him to take care of his remains!? how that works not sure i truely felt they could have taken some time to look at him.i had him sent in to have his remains come back and the card i got had the wrong name on it.😩 i honestly feel like i should be given some type of compensation. i would change to 5 starts if they would work with me.

The kindest Veterinarians and technicians in our area.... Rodger is an awesome Vet very compassionate... I've been taking my babies to Wisconsin Dells Animal Hospital for 25 years and if I live long enough another 25 years!!! Edited 09/02/2019. We've been using the Dell's Animal Hospital for 25 years, the compassion and professionalism is outstanding...we love Doctor Anita & Roger, Julie Melanie, Olivia and the rest of the staff! Thank you! The Dells Animal Hospital has excellent service. My first experience with them was when I first got my cat and needed a service. Last week I needed an emergency visit for my cat, who is approximately 13 y.o. They fit her in their busy schedule, tested, examined, and gave possible explanations and a medical routine that would help. The vet I saw was Janelle, and several techs. I would recommend them to everyone.
