We came here on spring break 2024 after reading the reviews. Our kids are 17 and 13 and both love reptiles. It was actually a very good experience. It's not a large venue and you can go through the venue in just under an hour or so and experience everything. The prices are very reasonable and I'd recommend purchasing one of the live feedings and souvenir photo too. Cory was great with answering our questions about the reptiles. The staff are all friendly and polite. The only negatives would be that some of the reptile enclosures could use more natural habitat. And the alligator enclosure seemed cramped for the amount of alligators they have in there. Recommended.

This was a good, unique spot to venture off to. We had a blast. We paid $20 for both of us and I believe $7 for a live mouse. We didn't think there would be a live feeding, but we paid for one and saw two more.We paid for a mouse for one of the snakes and saw two jumbo rats being fed to the alligators. My husband really liked the feedings. The "handlers" fed them.As for me, I enjoyed seeing the snakes, frogs, and other reptiles. Our complaint is, the feedings aren't ethical. The live jumbo rats are dangled from the top of the tank of the alligators. There's 20 alligators in a tank. The exhibits are only a fraction of the space as they should be. The snakes didn't have any interactive objects in their exhibits. In conclusion, my husband and I had a great time and will probably go back again. The exhibits need work and the animals need more space!

Really great place worth to visit. The owner is a really great guy he explained a lot of things to us and showed us the 2 headed turtle. It is really fun and I'll go there definitely again. The kids learned somsthing next about the reptiles. There is a also 2 headed snake, albino aligator, and a lot of pythons. You can feed the aligators and the pythons, really nice experience. Five stars all the way. 👌👌👌 🐍 🐍

This place is fun and affordable. Being winter I expected it to be slightly disappointing but it was nearly full in every enclosure. The staff was friendly and didn't pressure us to buy a bunch of extras. The animals were active and there was a great variety of large alligators, snakes, and turtles. I'd go again. Unfortunately it's weekend only.

A family favorite stop every time we visit the Dells! My son has loved looking at the alligators, snapping turtles, and snakes from when he was for till now at 6! You can purchase bags of raw steak to feed the alligators, and you can also purchase live mice, rats, and jumbo rats to feed the snakes, snapping turtles, and alligators. The price is a little steep to just come look at them at almost $10 an adult when you can look through them and be done in about 15 minutes or so, but they do have some cool things like two-headed snakes, giant snapping turtles, and other oddities which, coupled with my sons enthusiasm for seeing these creatures, make it worth it! I would definitely recommend checking it out at least once!

I have to say my kids loved this place. It's small but overall cool to kill about 10 mins or so. However the price seems not to much money it's the stuff you buy that is outrageous. Feeding the animals seemed decent but the size of the meat was so small it seemed not worth it. The prices of the photos were $16.99 ? Or two photos for $28 something I believe? The people were nice however.

Wonderful staff. Beautiful French Bulldog Dexter, to greet you at the door. The reptiles were amazing to see so up close and to watch them be fed is pretty fascinating but I couldn’t help but wish they had bigger enclosures.

This place was well worth the small admission price to see all the exotic reptiles !! The wide variety of common and rare reptiles was a real treat to see. The enclosures are all set up very professionally. They show the animals off well, and provide a good healthy environment for them to live in! The owner and his wife are very polite, friendly, and informative. Having guests at this place being able to feed the gators and snakes is a cool opportunity that not everyone gets to do! They allow you to hold a live gator and get pictures with one which so cool. Also worth noting is that this place is very, very, clean !! For a facility that has live animals, you'd think there would be a typical "animal smell" to it, but nope, not this place, it was immaculate. This will definitely be on our list of things to see next time we visit the Dells!Brian and Lori

Worth every penny! You can go Saturday and Sunday using the same ticket which for us was a pleasant surprise because we returned first thing in the morning. Feeding the animals was really cool. Lots of very rare and interesting species. The owner is one heck of a guy. He’s generous with his knowledge, experience, and his collection. We took home a new friend to remind us of what a great guy Orlando is. God Bless!

This place charges way too much for such a small experience. My kids watched them drown a living mouse and feed to a gator. There were so many alligators in a small tank, and not much to look at. My kids were not really impressed either and it doesn't take much for an 8 and 4 year old boy to get excited. Waste of time and money

It’s pretty cool! However, you can buy live rats to feed to them alligators, etc. No option for dead ones that I saw. The owner hung the live rat above the gators by it’s tail taunting them while it was curled up and screaming wanting away for a good 15-20 seconds. I personally don’t think that was a humane way of going about it. I completely understand they need to eat. But the gators would happily eat something already dead. It’s sad to see people pay to watch animals get eaten alive. LOL Just really turned me off the way the rat was handled as it’s still a living animal. There were MANY large gators shoved in a small tank. They could barely get past each other. The snapping turtle was in a tank that is had little to no room. They sell baby turtles with very small “tanks” in the gift shop. The small gator used for customers photos sits in a small tank with NOTHING in it but a light all day. None of these animals have enrichment

Honestly first and last time going. It was heartbreaking to see the condition of these animals. Too many large alligators in one small enclosure. Barely any water to swim in. Most snakes are extremely overweight and have fat rolls which is one of the worst conditions to find a snake in. Many of them even had diarrhea. There was an option to feed a snake a live rat, while I can agree on feeding a snake a live rat if it's a venomous/poisonous snake, you should always feed pythons/boas with frozen. Saw someone pay for this 'attraction' and the entire time the snake was getting bitten into by the rat while screaming as the ones who bought it watched on, laughed, and recorded. You could also feed a live rat to a gator/caimen which is highly inhumane as they will eat anything that touches the water alive or not. Yes they eat live in wild often, but that is not something that should be open to the public that kids can see. The gator tank has the option to feed them small chunks of meat. But it simply isn't enough for how many there are and of what size they are. I watched as they nearly tore each other's limbs off just to get to a tiny piece of meat the size of their eyeI would rate this place zero stars if I could. As a reptile rescuer/rehabilitator, this was so extremely sad and frustrating to see. I will never recommend. Yes, staff was nice, but that doesn't excuse the animals treatment.

Had a great time, about 30-45 minutes to visit and see amphibians. Opportunity for you to feed alligator or a snake. Don't forget a photo with a tiny alligator. Some small animals available for purchase

We had a great time here lookingat different reptiles of all kinds. The owners are more than happy to answer any questions you may have and are very nice people. You can have you picture taken with an alligator or a snake or both. They will print it there for you and give you a souvenir card frame for it to keep it in. The animals are well cared for and enclosures are clean and maintained. You have the opportunity to feed them if you would like to and they will show you how to do that and assist as needed. I found it to be a great learning experience myself and there were many children going through that liked looking at the alligators and snakes. I would definitely visit again my next trip to the Dells and would recommend to anyone, it is a great learning experience.
