This store is a community institution. They have an excellent grocery (Especially the meat dept.), a small but good deli and their hardware is acceptable. Their people make the difference, however, and they are over the top friendly and helpful. If you need something they don't have in hardware, they will get it for you if it's at all possible.

We have a cabin nearby and this place is the best - we can get groceries, beer or a new chain for the chainsaw. Helpful staff too.

The place to go for all your fixer upper needs. Tools, farming supplies, gardening, what have you. They got it. I love to support local businesses and this would be one. I try to do my part in my community stoping to support this local buisness is how I do it.

Great grocery located in town, beats making a run to Walmart or bigger chains anyday! Nice selection of fresh produce and meats. Nice friendly employees make returning to support local a no brainer!!

The Winter co-op makes a point of treating you like old friends. Their caring and knowlegable staff will be able to help you with groceries and your hardware needs. If they don't know the answer, they will direct you to someone who does. Top of the line store.

Great local customer appreciation program new to the area and love all of the staff here only had one cashier that sort of stuck her nose up at us but I love my other co op ladies

The winter co-op has everything you need . From grocery, produce, dairy, frozen, and medication. The hardware department has paint, nuts, bolts, plastic pipes tools, yard tools , fishing, garden, bird food, pet supplies and salt. Pretty much anything you need.

For a small town grocery store they just about carry everything a large grocery store just not as many brands they are a little bit more expensive but to get to a large grocery store it's 30 miles either way so by the time you figure your gas and time is actually just as cheap going here
