Our remodeled en-suite bath is exactly what I was envisioning. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and easy to communicate with. I enjoyed the process of choosing tile, fixtures, and configuration with an additional set of eyes on each part of the project. The tile work and installation of a new vanity, mirrored medicine cabinet, shower and plumbing fixtures opened up the space and is pleasing to the eye. RHD plumbing did a nice job for me. I had a broken faucet on my basement utility sink. I was able to schedule an appointment within a few days of my call. The plumber arrived on time. He was polite, explained what he needed to do to replace the faucet. He worked quickly, and didn’t leave any mess. The faucet works great, and doesn’t leak. The price for the repair was reasonable for the job. I would use RHD again.

I had them come out and fix two 90° in my showers. And then when they re put on a shower head sprayed back and flooded my downstairs. Then they said it damaged not by them even if they were the last person to put it on. If it was cross threaded I don't know how they put it on if I damaged it. Then I had them come out and look at the damage and try to charge me almost $1,800 and two visits to tell me that it wasn't their fault and to not fix the problem. They did take my shower head that I paid for and never reimbursed me for it or gave it back. The one guy said they drywall and then the one lady said they don't. And then the head guy called me back and said they do and then never got a hold of me for that. And then still send me a statement of $340 bucks for the original damage to flood my downstairs. Then he called me the head guy to talk about it. And then after he was going to talk to his employee he was going to call me back and then never did.

Faucet was failing. Decided to replace kitchen faucet, soap dispenser, drinking water dispenser and air gap, all to update and match. I looked up examples of what we may be interested in. Stephanie took it from there, put together a proposal of pieces. No small task with today's supply chains and inventory challenges. High quality, matching with no additional effort on our part. It turned out exceptionally well! The technician was also excellent. Okay, quick update on the plumbing situation. We were contacted by RHD plumbing recently, apparently the company changed ownership or management since we had our work done. The manager asked if they could come out to see if they could remedy the problems we had with our work.A tech came out and assessed the install on our hand sink, and agreed that it should have had some blocking behind before mounting. They offered to remove, install blocking, repair drywall and reinstall the sink at no charge. The work was scheduled at a time that was convenient for us (we could not have the restroom closed over the weekend) and completed as promised.I had some difficulty deciding what to change the rating to. Do I average the old rating and the new one? That really didn't seem fair to the new management. In the end, I'm as impressed with the service we've received as I was disappointed with the initial process, so I've updated our rating to a 5. I appreciate the management at RHD reaching out and remedying the issues we had with the initial install, over two years after we had our work done.___For posterity and explanation, I'm leaving our original review below.___We had RDH plumbing do the build out on our cafe on Williamson St. and struggled to keep them to their original timeline. The work seemed to start and stop rapidly, with the plumbers leaving projects incomplete for days and sometimes weeks on end. Communication with the office and plumbing staff is difficult - I had the experience for leaving multiple messages with the office staff over a number of days without a returned call.Since the work was completes we've had a few problems with the plumbing, such as our open site drying up and letting sewer gas into the building, as well as the bathroom sink pulling away from the wall.We chose RHD plumbing based on their reasonable estimate and timeline. Unfortunately they only kept to the cost estimate, and delays in plumbing finish work as well as poor quality of work left us very disappointed.-----UPDATED Jan 2019:Hi RHD- Thanks for replying to my review. It's unfortunate that with the purchase of the business you've also acquired the past problems and reviews. I'll post a shot of our lavatory hand sink - installed by RHD plumbing about 30 months ago and is practically falling off the wall. If you're sincerely interested in earning back our business, remedying this issue would be a great place to start.

Called RHD for an emergency repair after our shower faucet wouldn't turn off. The gal I spoke to initially was very kind and tentative to my concern and said an on-call tech would be getting a hold of me shortly. Soon I got a call from the technician, I explained what was going on and he made a great suggestion to hold out until the morning if we could, to save a lot of money on an emergency visit. We did just that and I'm glad we did. Taylor, their technician that came in the morning was great! He was very personable, quick and knowledgeable. We first met RHD plumbing when we did a major kitchen and bathroom renovation. They soon became our "go to people": good advice, good products, timely, fairly priced, very responsive via email and/or phone. Even small things get the same attention to detail. When our quiet close easy clean toilet seat needed to be replaced, they searched and searched to find a replacement. The model that I had was no longer available and the new model required a change of hardware. I have severe arthritis and no tools or skills. They totally understood. I contacted RHD Plumbing for a clogged pipe in our kitchen, after finding them on Google. After gathering other estimates, we chose to RHD Plumbing based on their price and that they seemed knowledgeable and friendly over the phone. Shaun took the time to thoroughly discuss our situation with me; finding out what the problems were that we were experiencing, what may be the cause, and creating and explaining a plan of attack well before having a technician come out to our home.The day of the service call, Dan was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem, recognizing what needed to be done, and quite frankly, had our best interests in mind as to what should be done, instead of what "could be done." I strongly feel that anyone else in that situation could have easily recommended the most expensive solution as the "only solution," but instead we received the fairest and most honest assessment from our technician.Even though this is my first experience with RHD Plumbing, I highly recommend this company because the people who work there seem to care about the work they do and the reputation they have locally. I found them to be fair, honest, knowledgeable and capable of not only being able to do their job, but also wanting to put enough care into a job in a way that would matter a great deal to any homeowner.
