I'm from LA. It was quite an adjustment coming here and seeing the Amish buggies, parking spots right next to the door (not a mile away) gas $2 cheaper per gallon, etc. People know each other by first name here. There is great selection. The size of the store is manageable and it's in a convenient place.

Alittle confused on how Dog bones can cost the same as soup bones ? Dog bones NO MEAT just bone, and soup bones have a nice amount of meat. BOTH cost the same 3.49 a pound. ???????The Place could be cleaner and more inviting.

Nice local grocery store. The produce isn't outstanding (go to Viroqua Food Co-op for that), but the meat is pretty good - I recommend their meatloaf, and the liquor department is large considering the size of the store! This isn't really a place I would do my regular shopping, but it's got all the staples I would need and the staff are very friendly.

This is the kind of place to stop when I need a few things for dinner, but they don't have the selection I'm looking for when I want to do a big shop. I'd like to see more non-dairy or lactose free dairy alternatives. The produce doesn't always look the best and doesn't have the variety I'm looking for. And at certain times of day (like the after work rush), the lines can be quite long at the checkout. I'm glad to have a hometown grocery store but I think they could do better.

Good place to get something you need quick. They have a variety of things. We picked up meat, cheese & crackers tray very good. Also got some bottles of soda & other drinks. Quick & friendly service

Your basic grocery store with no bells or whistles. Grandma found everything she needed there for 50 years..so do you really need 100 kinds of sauce? You get the most popular items and a few off the wall brands as well.The staff has always been friendly and quick with service.The store is small and cozy. Clean and well maintained.

This location has had some updates in the last couple years and it helps so much! Being that it’s our only grocery store.Sometimes the registers get a little backed up, or the doughnuts run out. The car wash is old and sometimes eats quarters

Excellent small town grocer. I don't do my everyday shopping here but for emergencies or random forgotten staples like bread, milk, bananas, etc., it has excellent selection and the prices aren't bad for a smaller store.Two noteworthy items: Their donuts are GREAT. They're made fresh every day and always soft and amazing. Best donuts around, no question.Also, I've found that the staff is very responsive to customer requests. They started carrying a product on my suggestion and I thought it was lovely that such a small store still finds room for items that the community asks for specially.

It ALWAYS has deals!! Especially the 10 for $10 and the buy 8 save $8!! Plus, the fruit there are ALWAYS good! Hardly rotten, unlike some of the other stores I've gone too. Really friendly service as well.

I stopped at Hanson to get fuel Tonight when i filled up the outside speaker was playing music so loud that my hears ring really bad. I will never fillup at station again. There is no reason to playing so loud.

Store really needs a REAL GOOD CLEANING. And it'd be GREAT to see the employees there, smile. BUT, even without the smiles, the employees HAVE BEEN helpful, when I've needed help with something.

What can I say, I love IGA because it is not a big store. They have local food and products and their deli has a nice selection. The parking lot needs some TLC though.

Reasonable prices. Small town gas/ grocery store. Sells alcohol, cigarettes and a good variety of fresh produce, frozen and shelf food. Does not sell Diesel fuel.
