It was my first time here and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the Sunrise sandwich on a toasted English muffin with a side of hashbrowns and a pop to drink. It was perfectly hot and flavorful. The English muffin was perfectly toasted, the hashbrowns were crispy and golden brown, and the melty cheese was what tied everything together. I even got to compliment the cook personally! The food and the environment of the diner has an intimate, homestyle feel to it. The servers were very attentive and courteous. I can't wait to come back tomorrow for the famous ice cream!

Listen, I've read some of the 1 star reviews and I just don't see it. My brother and I both had "the whole shebang" skillet and we both agreed it was pretty good! As far as the service the gal was attentive and very professional! Maybe it was just an off day for that particular person but, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to grab a bite to eat. The food came out quick, it was hot, and tasted good. What more can you ask for? I mean for anyone looking for fine dining well maybe try the Ritz-Carlton? But honestly I'm stopping in here anytime I'm in the area!

The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I had the Clucker (crispy chicken sandwich) with fries and the munchie madness ice cream. The chicken was cooked nicely and was still juicy and the ice cream was really good. My only complaint would be that some of the fries were a bit overdone.

I was at Beanies Wed. My brother was with me. He ordered the Wed special which included hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy and a veggies. I told waitress to hold onions, he does not eat onions. A bit later the waitress brought a baked potato. I told her he was suppose to get mashed potatoes. Soon after she brought a bowl with the baked potatoes scraped out of the skin. A bit later she brings a plate with the steak smothered in onions. I said they were suppose to hold onions, she said I never told her to hold them.. I said where is the gravy, she pointed to the juice on the plate. I asked where are the veggies, she pointed to the onions saying they are the veggies. I almost laughed at her. How pathetic. My brother scraped off the onions and ate the hamburger steak and dry potatoes. I had a hot dog, how can you screw up a hot dog. Then got charged additional 4 percent service fee, we actually paid by check and not by credit card which is why they charge the additional AMT. I will never go back there again, service was very poor and attitude was even worse than the food.Parking: Driving

Beanies was really good. Slid in for a quick lunch... BLT, fruit cup, and a drink. Bacon on the he sandwich was really good. Should have got some ice cream too, my only regret! Great, attentive service!

Wow! We loved every bit of it! The food was EXCELLENT quality and well prepared. The servers were friendly and attentive. The portions were good for adults. The children’s portions were a bit too much really, so next time our two will share. Definitely kid friendly with an extensive selection of premium ice cream. Overall a really nice experience for the whole family and we’re looking forward to doing at again soon!

I cannot recall the exact day that I went in, since it has been about 5 months now. The reason for the 3 stars was that the food was good, but the service was not.I can understand things slow down if it's busy. My own first regular hourly job was as a server. It wasn't busy that day, however. There were two servers, plus another over on the other side past the ice cream. The one serving us seemed to just forget we had been seated, then that we even existed after the order was taken. We couldn't flag her down for missing drinks and an incorrect order, as she seemingly disappeared for 20-30 minutes or more at a time. She also didn't come back around to check if everything was correct or if anything else was needed, as seems to be SOP for anywhere else, or any other time we were here previously.That was the reasoning for my 3 stars, but leaving the comments blank. I was not in a mood to be generous with words, so left it blank at that time.

Been past here a thousand times and finally stopped in. We were very happy. Excellent pork sandwich. Fries were a little burnt, but still very good.

Stopped in for breakfast while vacationing in the area. We were not disappointed. The food was hot and done to perfection. Really good service. We went back that evening and had the ice cream. Yum!

We had to wait 20 minutes for 2 chocolate ice cream cones and 1 sundae. I asked for 2 topping they only had 1. Not a big deal I selected another. When I got the Sundae it still only had 1 topping the substitute I selected. I told the lady 2 times what toppings after she asked for a substitute. We will not be going back. We may have just wanted some ice cream that day but we are a family of 7 that likes to eat out and support local businesses. I feel that since others were there spending more money that we were put on the back burner. That was a mistake.

Our waitress, Abby was so kind and accommodating. The service was quick and the food was very good.Parking: We were there on bicycles and delighted that they had a very nice bicycle rack.

I was not impressed with anything that I experienced at Beanies Diner. The "Pig in the Garden " is a BLT. The toast was soggy because of the butter on the bread. The cottage cheese was served in a bowl, but I was not offered a spoon to use.The chocolate malt was basically whipped ice cream and was so thick that the straw collapsed when I tried to drink it. There was no malt anywhere. Plus, I didn't get my malt until I was almost finished eating. And lastly, if you are going to charge 6 dollars for a chocolate malt, you should post the price somewhere people can see the price, instead of surprising the customer.

Stopped and got two 2 scoop dishes of ice cream. Scoops were extremely small @ $4.75 per dish. Much higher for much smaller portions than Readstown shop. Ice cream did not taste like premium either.
