If I need help with the project, I will go here to get the right part or solution. They know, and they'll help you figure out what you need, and if they don't have it, they can order it... Also, it's a great place to get paint.They have one of the highest rated brands, and it's relatively affordable. I definitely prefer their paint to the Home Depot brand, especially for the same price.

Employee there cut and glued together PVC and a new actually silent check valve for my sump pump. The old one was loud as hell. At home was a stressful race against the clock cutting my existing PVC to fit as we live near a creek and the sump fills up at a decent rate. Anyways here's the end result. Pretty much go here for everything homeowner related.

The prices are slightly higher than the big box stores, but the staff is much more knowledgeable and helpful. It is worth the trip.

HORRIBLE customer service.We ordered a shed online to pickup in store. Paid for it in full. Drove 45 minutes one way to pick it up. When we got there, they couldn’t find the shed. After waiting 20 minutes, they found it - completely assembled sitting outside. Not only does a completely assembled shed not fit in our vehicle, we paid for a brand new shed. The manager was out the day we went, so we just drove home.We were finally able to get in touch with the manager four days later. We asked that a shed be delivered to our home because of their error. The manager first said it is against company policy. When my husband said he knew that wasn’t true, the manager then told him that “he can’t have a paid employee leave the store for 1.5 hours as it is a waste of time.” To which my husband replied, “Yes I know that. I already wasted 2 hours coming to your store but the only difference is that I didn’t get a shed because your inventory counts were incorrect online.”We ended up cancelling our $500 shed order and will never purchase anything from this franchise again.

I called on the phone asking if they could cut my car key, I gave the make and year, and the person said they can, no issue. I show up the next day and the guy says "oh no we can't do that. People buy cheap stuff on Amazon all the time and it damages our machine or their key so we don't take a chance". Mine isn't a cheap one from Amazon but ok. I asked if they could recommend someone and they had no idea.I noticed they were in the process of cutting a key that looked oddly similar to mine and when I asked about it they said it was a test and they couldn't help me.Wow 3 different answers from employees. One said we cut anything, 2nd said we only cut certain keys and now 3rd saying I have to buy one of yours. Where's the communication?

CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A SNOW STORM !!! 5 STARS!!!This is insanely late, but I promised I'd write this review for how amazing the staff is here. Back one crazy snowy day this past winter I decided my parents needed a new snow blower, so I thought I'd order them one and they could go pick it up. But my husband said we should go pick it up and bring it to them... but Tennies was about to close in a little over an hour... we live near Oak Creek (almost an hour away) ... AND the roads were REALLY bad, so we had to drive slow.... We called Tennies and had them hold the snow-blower model we wanted, promising we'd get there as they were closing. ... We got there maybe 10 minutes after they closed, but when we arrived, there were about 5 employees standing there, who had it all ready for us, out of the box and ready to go.... We were so thankful!! We left it hanging out the truck of my Audi for the 3 blocks we had to drive to my parent's house, and my husband had to use his bootlaces to secure it!! 😂My parents were SOOO happy we did that for them, and it was all thanks to Tennies for staying open for us. They were able to use the snowblower right away in the morning and my Dad (who has bad arthritis in his hands) still can't stop thanking us for the gift... even though it was really dangerous for us to drive all that way in a snow storm. 🤭 Tennies helped make it worth it!...Also they have a way better selection than the big box stores, and we like to shop local.. My Dad was really happy it came from Tennies as he likes to frequent your store. 😃

Don't bother with the service department. Rude and unprofessional service. The man I spoke to speaks over you when you try to talk to him. We needed the recoil on our snowblower repaired we had called during Winter and he told us that he was swamped with too many snowblowers so try to come towards the end of the season so now we are calling in the beginning of May where many people are not even cutting grass yet and we are told that he can't get to it because it is now lawn care season and as soon as he could get to it would be June.. For somebody who knows what they are doing it literally is a 15 minute job. He used the analogy of how would you like it if you brought your lawn mower in to be fixed and you seen me working on a snowblower and to that I told him well I would tell that person it's called good customer service and it's called first come, first served. It's not like he would be working on it for 3 days it's a 15 minute job. So overall it was a bad customer service experience and we picked up our snow blower and plan to just fix it ourselves or take it elsewhere. Disappointing.

Purchased snowblower for $30 less than box store competitors including the cost of assembly. Staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and it was ready for pickup early. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, Ken took my call about replacing screens for windows, he was very helpful & had full knowledge of what I wanted. The staff on duty Thursday night (3) were also very helpful. One of them came out to my car & carried the screens in for me, very much appreciated because I was parked a good distance from the door. Will greatly recommend Tennies.

Went in earlier this year to look at a commercial lawnmower. Waited to talk to someone while they chatted. In the end shook hands on a deal that was offered on a last years model. Went in the next day with the payment and was told the price was now going to be $500 more. They owner even admitted to me that while he was still making money he had decided that it wasn't enough. I sent an email later explaining to them how i felt about the matter. They did not bother to respond to me. Even though they mention to my father the next time he was in that they had in fact received the email. I have been going to the Tennies' stores all my life. I can only comment on my recent experience but i would be very careful when dealing with these with them. When you shook someones hand that used to mean something. They may have made a bit more money selling the mower to someone else but they lost my business for life.

An older gent that drives the white ACE truck blatantly broke the law causing a dangerous situation at the intersection south west of ACE on Main Street. If I knew my employee had the company name on the side of the truck and did that he would be fired. Great representation of the company.

I went there early this afternoon, had a problem assembling the rear bag for my lawn mower, several employees seemed to be very willing to help me out.. along came a "larger"man looked at it and instantly started putting it together for me.That'll be five bucks, he said as he inquired where I purchased it, I told him not here., his response was, well, maybe if you got it here there would be no cost.What ever happened to customer courtesy?After being treated with what seems ZERO respect...in the future that will be the LAST place I go to!

I always loved going to this store. They always have what I need when it comes to small parts and tools but I had the worst experience today. I walked in and asked the woman behind the desk if there was someone in the first level that could help me with a part for my lawn mower because I couldn't do the stairs. She told me parts are on the 2nd level. I then left. For someone who is disabled this is very disheartening! Guess I'll make sure I spend my money else when and let others know what happened!

They have a whole bunch of small handy items as you walk in the store. Value priced. Nice gifts. They also fix and sell lawn mowers and snow blowers. I live in a condo and they sold us a nice Toro for cutting our lawn. Our old one we bought from them lasted over 20 yrs before the hydraulics went out. Highly recommend!!

Good place to be in and out for hardware and a few parts that's local. Much rather come here for a fitting or a bolt than have some kid point me to an isle and spending a half hour searching the shelves only to be disappointed. Great metric bolt & nut selection for your auto/motorcycle needs.

I would not recommend shopping at a Tennies Ace Hardware Store. I called the store at 10:30am to purchase plexiglass and pick it up after work. I came to the store at 4:30pm to pick up the glass. It was not ready so I waited for the piece to be cut. The gentleman told me it would be $6.99. I was at the check out line and told the cashier the man told me it was $6.99. A man in front of the store advised that's not right his name is Todd . I said the man who cut the glass told me it was $6.99. Todd said we can look at the sheet, we walked all the way to the back of the store to look at the sheet and it was at a different price. Todd then said to me "I'm not in the business for losing money". Well, you are in the business of losing customers with your poor customer service skills. I'm not upset that I had to pay more for the glass but I'm upset on how I was treated in the process of buying the product. I think there needs to be a more efficient way to print out the correct price in the back of the store to give the cashier when paying for the product. The man who cut the glass did a great job and fits very well in our door.
