Self checkouts leave a lot to be desired. Constant errors when scanning items and long wait times to have an employee clear the errors. Sale price on beer was greater than the regular price. The service desk person was not willing or able to refund me the dollar difference (I bought 2). Seems employees could use some training. Customer service was lacking—and not just on this visit.

Best grocery store in the area without a doubt. The customer service is second to none, every employee has always been pleasant and goes above and beyond! The produce selection is top notch, the sushi is great, the meat counter has great quality and selection. The free knife sharpening is an amazing bonus as well! Can’t forget about the bakery/deli, best bagels in town and some of the best fried chicken in town as well. Easy 5 stars!

Festival food is going downhill. It's like no one checks the food quality. Was a good store until the new remodel. Was told there was no manager till 8am, wth is that??? Poor management because i couldn't even get to talk to one about this nasty food.

Recommended by a local man while visiting the area. Great grocery to buy stuff. Their take to bake pizza was outstanding! Lobster pie ready to eat: delicious! Great recommendation.

Very nice new store for picking up a lot of things with many Choices of foods and different types of alcohol there prices are a little higher but it's still a nice place to stop by if you're looking for a item or two

My husband and I went to the Wausau Festival this morning to get a bottle of wine. There was only one lady in front of us. Bruce the cashier finished the lady’s transaction and started ours. This is what bugs me. I don’t know if he gave the lady the same attitude since we came when he was done ringing her up but he(Bruce)didn’t even bother to acknowledge us. No hello no nothing not even a fake smile. He was even annoyed that we were there buying wine. After he was done ringing our wine, he grab it and put it in a bag and slam it hard on to the belt. He hurried and gave me the receipt and just walked away. I have been in the customer service business for years now and know that there will be days when you don’t wanna be at work or talk to people but seriously this kind of attitude is not acceptable! Next time maybe Bruce should “ fake it till he makes it”

I was a customer there while I worked there. There was a lot of great quality things about the food and what was made daily. I will say as an employee it was a terrible experience working there. You would think with how much they press being friendly that they would want employees to treat others with respect. There was many reasons to dislike my job but it was even worse when you made a mistake of any kind. That mistake was held against you for the entire time of working there and they basically made it where you weren’t given a second chance after a certain amount of time went by. You get rehired you still have a foot out the door as that write up will allow them to fire you the second you make another mistake. Great for employees who are favored bad for ones who the managers dislike. Don’t waste your time or energy working for this store or shopping here as a customer it’s still the same experience as it was when I was an employee. Even after time has gone by.

Festival Foods has been my go-to grocery store for some time. While they are a bit pricey, they offer a great variety/selection in both their grocery and alcohol goods. My only complaint is the lack of cart returns. They are not existent at this location and ask that you return them back into the store. I've seen several times where people will just leave them in the parking lot which I understand is a customer issue, but cart returns are normally a given at most grocery stores. Every other grocery store in town has one, it might be time to invest!

Took my dad shopping in Medford today. This is a very clean and neat store. I am from out of town, and I was impressed with the wide isles and how nicely organized the store was.Produce looked fresh and clean, the meats section was full, and every aisle was faced to the front.Nice job on a first impression.Looking forward to my next shopping visit

10-8-23. Ordered a birthday cake from the bakery. The young lady that took my order was nice and professional. The 2 layer birthday cake was excellent. Same recipe for over 3 owners and 25 years and is still great.

Store is always clean and stocked. The sushi is very good. The fresh sliced ham and rolls are great on a Sunday. Parking lot is always plowed well during winter. Brats outside during the summer! And because they're the official grocery store of the Packers, the staff wears Packers jerseys on every game day, provided by the store. That's pretty cool.

This will forever be my grocery store. The 2 women in the bakery tonight just made my daughter's birthday so special and I can't thank them enough. They stayed 10 minutes late so I could make it to the store for a wafer image for my daughter's cake. The computers were acting up and we couldn't get the first few images to work. It eventually printed a half an hour later. Thank you soooo much! I'm so grateful for the small things and caring people out there!❤️

"FESTIE IS MY BESTIE" So glad Festival Foods made it to Wausau. I came from Green Bay and missed my west side Festival Foods there. This store has monumental efforts, remodels, upgrades that are great. I like when a text comes through with a good product offer. Unashamedly I make that extra savings trip often. Every visit has been good. Thank you to all the staff for all the smiles and greetings and help in locating items.

Extremely nice employees. The butchers are very nice and helpful, if you have a question they will try their best to answer you. Place is very clean and tidy. It is also a lot less hectic than Rib Mountain.They are also open late, which is great as it means if you forgot something you can still go there after dinner.

Stopped in the Wine and Spirits section on Presidents’ Day weekend while visiting from out of town. Spoke to the friendly manager, Bruce, who keeps the area well organized, clean, and well stocked. He’s been doing this for almost 2 decades! He was able to help me find what I was looking for, which made the holiday weekend even more special.

So much more variety of food items than other grocery stores, big selection of high quality meats, huge deli and bakery with lots of choices, can't find item at store bet you will find it here. Very happy this store is now located here where I live.

50/50 since trigs buyout, but staff are wonderful. food is priced between Pick n' Save and County market. food availability is okay, much better than Pick n' Save stock.
