Great place if you're looking for clothing. Clothing in over 50% of the store. If you need specialized items for fishing, hunting, camping, or sports, they have only a minimal amount for what they say. Their store represents.The store is clean and easy to walk through.There is plenty of parking which is free to the public.There is also restaurants nearby for you to stop in and relax and talk about your shopping experience.Overall the star is worth stopping at if you are into any hobbies or sports.

I went today with a friend today to buy at least 6 disc golf discs.They had a lot of them but only 1 brand. Not 1 of them had a price on it!So these were close to as far from the checkout as you could get. So had to hunt an employee down which was at the checkout. A high price but probably 50 more or so with no prices. So how the heck can you tell without bringing them all to the front. I guess your just supposed to pay whatever they want. I will never go back and encourage others to do the same. I see this more and more. No prices listed. Horrible service!Also probably an illegal non exiting door unless you go through a coral system to get to the cashier's counter to get out. Almost certainly a fire hazard violation. American business just doesn't care about service anymore in many stores

They had a decent selection of kayaks and kayak related items. I wasn't able to find a sit in kayak that I could comfortably sit in. By the time I was ready to buy they had sold a lot of their stock.Friendly customer service, just wasn't able to find what I was looking for here.

Visiting from SD, stopped in with daughter to purchase gifts. The selection of sporty fashionsfor young teens is amazing, colorful, and very well made. We browsed other merchandise like shoes, caps, and hiking accessories. At one point we had to ask for assistance to find a specific item in a color we couldn't not find. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made it a point to look for and find the item which was very much appreciated. I would definitely come back to this store for gifts throughout the year.

Great selection of sports apparel as well as a huge selection of fan apparel and gear for the Badgers, Bucks, Packers, and Brewers. Friendly staff with great customer service in my experience.

Hate to do this but the customer service (CSR) here is horrible. I came in looking for shoes and athletic pants. 2 employees in apparel looked at me and just walked away. The one person in shoes saw me looking and instead went to a group of 4 that walked up after I was there. Group of employees hanging in golf you would think someone would be able to assist a disabled Veteran. Fair prices beautiful store that's about it! Yeti coolers on sale would of bought one had I felt they wanted my money.

Was difficult to find help from store staff. It wasn't very busy either. After a couple tours around the perimeter of the store and finding no one, I finally ended up waiting in line to ask a checkout person to page someone who showed up from the back after close to 5 minutes.

Good selection and clean, organized store but where is the help? No one approached me after 20 minute checking kayaks. Had to walk the entire store looking for someone who wasn't on a register and when I fimally found someone I got a 2 second answer and he walked away before I could respond to him. I'll order online from Dicks if the price is right, but for customer service, I'll go elsewhere.

I've experienced both good and bad. We drive 1 hr and 15 minutes to get there. Today I was very disappointed because the 20% off a purchase of $100 or more coupon was left at home. I felt gipped when the cashier said if we don't have a coupon we can't get the discount. In April of this year we had a manager help us out with a coupon when we didn't have one. I think without coupons their prices are too high. I won't be back for a while.

In the store 12/24 at 3:45 pm Christmas Eve and in need of help on 3 different situations. The 3 young men all of which helped me with everything from figuring out how to use my cell phone to going outside in 5’ cold weather to get an item I needed from a trailer to picking out fishing items. Excellent job!!!! Will be back because of my 5star service!!!

I realize this is most likely a corporate thing but calling this a sporting goods store is a joke, since a HUGE part of sporting goods is hunting. I know corporate decided to get rid of the guns here (also a huge mistake) but they could at least carry archery supplies for bow hunting. We have literally no need for this store, we can get most of the stuff at Wal Mart including hunting stuff. If we need name brand athletic clothing we'll find it somewhere else.

Calling this a sporting goods store is false advertising. This is a clothing retailer that happens to carry some equipment for select sports. Football baseball and hockey primarily. The only water sport they support is kayaking, while having nothing for indoor sports like bowling, I've seen tabletop Gaming stores with more of a selection of Billiard and Dart equipment. Going somewhere else is in your best interest.

Very nice store. Believe this has been built just recently. Has a very good selection of all top brand sporting goods apparel and equipment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable compared to other stores selling same name brands. Will definitely revisit this store.

Went in looking to buy about $1300 in golf clubs and apparel. 15 minutes of waiting for help, finally got an associate that told me he would send over someone who new more about clubs. 20 minutes later after watching the gentleman that was told to help me stand around and ignore me I left. Nevada Bob's here I come. Store looks ok, must not be the right kind of customer. Terrible customer service.

Hey last week I had a hard time getting into your website on the Nov 15 I wanted. 20.00 off my shoes and I could not get onto your website.Well I was angry but I still wanted my shoes so I called on tues and talked to this awesome lady she got my shoes ordered and they were there the next day.She needs to be acknowledged for her awesome job.I am still waiting for my 20 dollars in credit but I haven’t received yet.

Went bike shopping here. Horrible service. Rude manager. Stuff in boxes everywhere!!! We were more than happy to go buy them somewhere else which we did. We have been here before for other items. Selection is limited but most importantly is how poor the customer service is!!! We won’t come back. Maybe that’s why it’s called Dick’s!!!!???

They have a great selection of sporting goods you name it probably have it. I love shopping there I always find new a cool little things I didn't know about. Really good prices. Very friendly good service overall 😎 I will be shopping there again for sure treat your self and go there big store lots of goodies

When we entered the store we didn't realize that they were about to close. Instead of kindly explaining that they were about to close, an associate took care of us while giving us complete attitude. How difficult would it have been to tell us that they were closing and suggest we go elsewhere?

Not impressed. Went to return something, the process took forever and I was the only customer in the store. The young man at the cash register had to keep calling another employee over to help and he took forever to walk over to do so. I asked where 2 seperate items were at 2 seperate times and all anyone could do was point and say "I think it's over there". Thanks but no thanks. I'm not going to waste my time here, I'll keep going to Dunham's.

I am a local and it's about time I write a honest review not based off on 5 visits.I have to agree with the reviewers about customer service. it's non existence at some visits or when you spot them in their natural habitat, they spot you and run off to join the closest pack.I have met the owner(cool dude) of the Wausau location once and he had no problem going in the back to look up an item because he had caught his employee not doing nothing. Before that, the employee gave me an impression being unreliable, so I took out my mobile phone showing the item "Availablity" in the Wausau location straight from the Dick's website. Haven't seen the employee since.Now I've noticed this quite sometime and been a customer since it opened. Employees specifically the shoe, bike, and men's apparel department are saying, "What's out there is what we have." more frequently. (I didn't know Dick's was a close-out store). No scan, no walking in the back of the store for a check(one would think being an employee dressed sporty would have no problem going), NOTHING but taking their word for it. That gave me an unfavorable impression and I ponder for a minute in-store. Keep in mind it's not just few occasions and I have given them the benefit of the doubt. Dick's did not get my business as I just left the store disappointed. Now days I'm there only to try items and then purchase online from another store competitor.

Great selection of golf clubs. Was able to try out the new driver I wanted on there driving simulator. Jim, the salesman, was very knowledgeable and helpful in selection.

Customer service is none existent! The store was a mess and nothing was organized. Went to purchase a safe, no assistance. Went to purchase men's shoes, no assistance. Spend over 40 minutes in the store and Did not even see an employee until leaving. Did not spend a dime and probably will not return to this location.

Golf department staff,An older Man working in the golf department today, 7-27-19 around 10:50 am, was very disrespectful to me. I simply wanted to take some swings in the simulator and didnt mind waiting, because he was with another customer. But, the facial expression and change in tone of voice from the current customer he was helping to me completely changed to an annoyed expression. It was like I was a disruption to his whole day, just because I wanted to take some swings. I hope this isn't how he treats all young adults.
