Before even crossing Loot Vintage & Supply’s threshold, I could feel the welcoming nature, vibe and people - which made me feel as though I had known the people and the place forever.Almost like the television show, “Cheers”, however, not everyone knows eachothers’ names quite yet.This feel-good and inspiring eclecticism of vintage items of all types, forms, shapes, and sizes is something that can only be explained by personally visiting Loot Vintage & Supply and experiencing it for one’s self.I was lucky enough to have met one of the owners - Heidi - and was able to converse with her for a bit. She is not only absolutely fabulous...she is super stylish and her store reflects her fashion forward sense as well as her tradition respecting decor style.Me personally, I don’t believe in shopping for items to throw away tomorrow and then have to replace again next week. And that is what her store focuses away from. Her store is all about quality, craftsmanship and product longevity.And let me tell you her price points are spot on.

Lots of really neat vintage goodies! The owner was very kind and helpful! Local shoppers get a great discount and the free coffee sample was so delicious, we had to buy a bag!

I am happy to see the hipster crowd is working it’s way into the Waupaca mercantile scene. Good bye musty old “antique store”, hello highly curated vintage goods shop. The pricing is nothing to get excited about. You won’t find a “great deal” here, and don’t be the po-dunk hillbilly who asks dumb questions and then for a discount. Haha! They don’t play that.The sales people/owners (?) manage to keep their distain for the masses in check, but barely. They are not rude per se, but not genuinely friendly either. I wonder if I had accidentally stepped into some dog-poo just before I walked in? Anyway, that was the kind of treatment I was given.I guess “snooty” is the right word for it.It’s a sort of pricey and pretentious shop with a kind of snooty attitude”.I wish them well, really I do. Lot’s of folks think that kind of thing is clever.Just not my kind of scene.

The owner was very hospitable and took time to talk to us. He even gave us an area map and showed us all the other hot spots to hit during our trip. Great establishment with some fantastic pieces. Highly recommend.

Loved this store! Awesome owner who shared with us other locations to visit to search what we were looking for. We felt safe shopping and he wore a mask unlike other stores in town. Nice coffee selection too!
