I’ve always had good luck here over the years. The staff is friendly and helpful and the store is well stocked. Today they helped me load a heavy snow blower into my truck in the rain.

Very helpful team of folks. The checkout is always very fast, they have 2 lanes. They have a large selection. Prices are a bit higher than the big box stores, but when you just need a couple of items, doesn't pay to drive 20 minutes to get a little lower price.

Fine small hardware store (if pricey, which is what you trade for convenience) with increasingly bad staff. At this point I'm not convinced that they hire anyone older than 16, and the people they do hire are more interested in playing catch with merchandise at the front of the store than helping customers. I'm fine paying an upcharge to drive three minutes instead of 20, but after my last few trips, I'll be driving the distance to avoid this store.

Purchased a $400 patio table and 6 chairs about 5 years ago...we stored it inside...when I went to get it out this weekend, the chairs have got rust on them...they fill with water when it rains and rust water gets all over....they are starting to rot and the table is not study......very disappointed!!! I would avoid purchasing a patio set from ACA as the one I got was supposed to be one of the best

The folks at Ace in Waunakee are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I bought a Weber grill from them. They delivered it set up to my home in the country. It was a little out of their delivery zone but they did it anyway free of charge. And a free refill of propane.

This is a fantastic hometown hardware store! They've got just about anything you could need, and thanks to their Ace Hardware affiliation, can order just about anything else, and you don't even have to leave Waunakee! Also, try the Ace brand products - most are great quality and considerably cheaper.

They forgot an item on my curbside pickup. I called when I got home and they argued that everything was there. Make sure to check your order before you leave. They won't help you afterwards.
