I remember going to Ace Hardware with my grandfather many years ago, to pick supplies up quick. They offer many services at Ace. From key cutting to paint mixing. I’ve had my chainsaw sharpened here a few times for super cheap and in a pinch. The employees are very kind and helpful. The facility is always clean.Ace hardware has loads of kids projects you can pick up. One of the more common project being pine wood derby cars.

Staff was very helpful in picking out a new snowblower. Free delivery and setup was included. The gas tank was even filled before delivery and a quick demo was given by the delivery person. Was told warranty service could be performed in store, if needed. Will definitely shop at this Ace in the future.

Great experience today. Just came from Florida and sure needed help. What a great bunch of employees . They all welcomed me and were more than willing to help me. Welcomed me to their town and come there wheneverI needed help. What a great bunch of employees. I’ll definitely go back there again.

One of two experiences will happen to you if you shop this store. Either you will get a friendly young person, who might not be super knowledgeable but definitely makes an attempt to help. Or you will get one of the older employees who will be knowledgeable, however will not fail to be be rude and condescending and generally unpleasant. You also have to make sure that you double check the pricing.

These people have just about everything it seems! I stop in almost every other weekend to get random items for renovations. Very helpful if you need a one-stop-shop for various home projects. The staff are always friendly and ask if you need any help finding anything. 10/10 would recommend.

They have everything here...literally everything. But...it'll cost you. That's the only thing they have against them is the price is a good 20-30% higher than anywhere else you'd find. But, they WILL have it if you have an odd screw or piece you're looking for. Staff is always helpful too!

I have shopped at this store many times and usually had good experiences. Tonight was very different. First, we were the only customers there, the person behind the counter was on the phone. She continued to talk on the phone for another minute (not really work related) and finally hung up and waited on us. I had two coupons, of which the people working have always allowed me to use. I first showed her that the dog food I was purchasing had a hole in it, but they were literally out of all dog food and I need a bag. She didn't seem to care. Then she told me that I should not have received one coupon. I said, well I did (I had the flyer with the address and everything). She then told me that I could not use the second coupon. I told her the lady in the day is fine with it and she said she will address it. Really? My purchase was $40. The coupons were for $7 off and $5 off both of $30 purchases. Would it have been that hard? What about a discount for AN OPENED BAG? Nothing. Apparently my business is not worth $5. No worries, no plans on returning anytime soon. You can have your $5 coupon. FYI, she is the manager. Perhaps she is the one who needs a lesson in customer service.

Went in there last week to cut some keys. Waited a few minutes before someone notice me by the counter. After that, the employee was very polite and made quick work of my task. The checkout clerk was genuine and conversational which impresses me every time.

The staff out on the floor is super friendly! I love that the employees don’t bother you too much, but are around when you have a question. Prices are a tad bit more than walmart or menards, but for only being 2min down the road, I’ll keep going there. My only complaint is their closing time is too early (it’d be nice if they could extend the closing time by 1-2hr). Definitely worth stopping in if you need something quick without having to rummage through a huge department store.

Every time I go into this store the price For merchandise are marked wrong and they always blame it on the new guy. They should sell it for what it is marked. I went and bought a meat thermometer that was marked 17.99 when I got to the counter they said it was a 109.00 we went to look and there was a stack of them marked 17.99, talked to someone at the counter and she was pretty rude, as usual at that store they would not sell for the lower price. I will never shop there again. Wish I didn’t have to give it star at all.

Went to buy a Weber E-210 Gas Grill for $ 399.00. Asked why all stores had the same price and was told Weber tells them what they have to sell it for. Isn't that price fixing? Plus, after I paid for it, she pulled out a 50 dollars gift card for me for buying the grill. No promo information at all telling you you get a gift card.The good news is the staff was very nice, helpfull and friendly.

Your run of the mill Ace Hardware franchise. They have a good amount of products across the spectrum. No. They don’t have all the offerings of a big box store or Walmart but if you are in a bind the staff will help you find the right fitting or cut the product to meet your needs. I had a few extra items that I didn’t need and the returns were quick and easy. Money back in no time.

The staff in the store was helpful, and they had exactly what I was looking for, but the checkout changed that. They were all caught up stuck on how to use the register with a single person being served. So I waited, and was finally acknowledged, the bill was 4.02, handed them a 5, they asked if I had 2¢. "No, but there are 2 pennies in the change bowl, can you use them?" I was given a single "no." I asked really? No answer. I found this truly aggrivating. I asked "why is it even sitting there? That is literally its only purpose." They only stared at me like a cow at a passing train. The checkout needs some serious service training.

I rented a carpet cleaner over the weekend while i cleaned out my deceased mother's apartment, and asked if there would be a late charge if i got back by Monday or Tuesday. I was told no, then i show up and they want 80$ i was told he would do me a favor and only charge me half of that.It's almost as bad as the skidloader i rented from there last fall that was in desperate need of a new fuel filter.I will no longer shop or rent anything from Ace hardware.

I rented a self propelled lawn mower and the propulsion unit stopped working before I finished the lawn. I returned the lawn mower and asked for a partial refund. I was told that I could have finished the lawn by pushing it so they would not issue a refund. They further stated they would give me a discount on another rental so I could finish the lawn. So their solution was for me to spend more money to finish the job I was unable to complete due to the failure of their equipment. I was considering renting a large piece of equipment from them in the future but now I will never set foot in the place again.

I would like to personally thank the staff of Blairs Ace Hardware rental department for significantly delaying a project I've been working on for weeks. I had spoke with a staff member there and we set up a day to have a skidloader delivered. When the day came for it to be dropped off, I waited all day for a phone call. No call. I thought I would come home to one sitting in my driveway. Came home to nothing. When I called them to see what was going on nobody had any idea what was going on. I heard someone in the back say just tell him we cant deliver it. So thank you Ace Hardware rental department, I will recommend Midstate whenever I get the chance.

Went in to get two of the screw driver sets for $20 got a rain check for them and it's been 3 weeks now and they are not in and the told me they would not be in until the 15th of January if they would of said it was going to take a month or more to get them I wouldn't have wasted my time. They could close that store as far as I am concerned!!!!

You'll pay a little bit more here, but you'll get excellent service. You can also get some hard to find items, and random hardware here. They also encourage people to haul away crate scraps for burning, out back by the dumpsters. Love the small town hardware store feel.

Love the store in the past. Usually great customer service. No masks on ANY employees. I won’t go back and didn’t buy the leaf blower and chain saw supplies. Really sad about this

Poor service. Employee at service counter, EXTREMELY rude. We placed an order for a part 2 weeks ago and it still is not here. We were told 3 days. Tried contacting them several times, always get the runaround. After we receive our part that needed, we will NOT be back.

Husband went in to buy oil and to use his $7 COUPON off any purchase of regularly priced items of $20 or more. He brought up a case for $14 plus other items at reg prices. The gal wouldn't give him the $ off bc he was already getting a deal on the case verses buying individually (both case and individuals had separate reg $ tags)??? The case was not on sale. That's way wrong... so if he bought six bottles individually, he would have gotten the $7 off?? Crappy.

Sitting in the parking lot on a Sunday morning at 8:11 and I've counted 4 vehicles in the last 5 minutes that came here for the same reason I did. To spend money and they are closed. Maybe they should consider out doing Farm & Fleet

Staff here is really great, the selection of items is really robust, and they have all the Sprecher flavors you could ask for. It really has that hometown hardware store personal feel.
