Sent 2 cows there and won't do it again. The hamburger meat is so fatty. There are HUGE chunks of nonground fat in my ground meat. It's absolutely disgusting. Never will take a cow there again!

Had half of a cow butchered here. Friendly staff. Received my ground beef vacuumed sealed, but all my other meat was wrapped in freezer paper.

We just picked our second pig up from Northern Trail this morning. It was ready as promised. The staff is EXCELLENT!!!! All the meat was wrapped like we requested. Spend a lot of time with us discussing the whole cow we are buying, and they recommend how to cut it. They took the time to answer our questions and recommended options. The store is very clean! Great place to do business with and well worth the drive. Thank You!!!! See you in October.

The people who work here are amazing. I was running late due to a detour (that I didn't need to take), got lost, GPS on the phone wasn't working, and I forgot my wallet at home. Needless to say, I had a rough go of it. I managed to relay a call to them through my wife. They not only offered to stay open until I got there (didn't need to as I arrived before they closed), but they gave me some samples due to my series of unfortunate events. These are the types of people that you want to support with your money. They do a great job providing amazing products and are just caring and decent folks. Definitely patronize their business.

Our deer was processed quickly and they have great customer service. I arrived 5-10 minutes after closing (I thought they were open until 6, but they closed at 5) and the woman who was still there working was very kind and let me pick up our meat.

Northern trails is the go to destination for meat processing in the area. End of story... they are personable, accommodating, and the best quality processor I have found. I tried Pernants and was extremely disappointed in their timeliness and quality, not to mention lack of communication.

We love this place! People are always friendly and our meat is always ready in 2 business days! We love the mushroom Swiss brats they are worth every penny! Our deer stay our own except for sausage which is to be expected!

I was referred to Northern Trail a few years ago and now I drive almost a hour out of my way to take my deer to them. Their prices, process, and friendliness will keep me coming back. They carry the deer from your truck willingly and readily. They have always been very nice to my two young sons. Try them at least once.

I do not take my Venison here any more. It always tastes gamey and has a certain smell. My wife noticed more than I did. Hair in the meat is a big complaint. I have processed many deer here. No more, sorry. See my other rating for location I recomnend.

Dropped our deboned venison off the second saturday of deer season. Place was busy but the friendly staff got us through the line and our order placed in 20 minutes. You won't get your own meat unless you do a minimum 50lb order of one item. But otherwise I dropped off 93lb of venison (i butchered) and that converted to 141lb of items off the menu. There is no minimum order qty for items when your venison is mixed in.

We were very disappointed with the 78 pounds of hamburger that was made by this meat market , we asked for lean hamburger the initial order and when we received it there was so much fat, tendons , bones ground up in the meat we had to return all 77 lbs of it and they great fully agreed for make us some lean hamburger .but when we received there leaner version we are still were unable to eat the hamburger because it still has so much garbage in it (tendons , large fat pieces) it took me 2 hours to try and pick out all the uneatables in a pound of meat ! I have a person who just had triple bypass surgery in my house and who can't eat this type of garbage in our meat ! I will not go back to this market ! We purchased over 450 lbs of beef from this market and you would think when you spend that much meat that you should get what you ask for ! Don't get me wrong , the cuts of meat (steaks , roasts etc.) were great but the hamburger is bad !

We order a quarter of a beef. Found out when I got home there was still hamburg coming out of my tubes on both end never in my life... i had 6 lbs not even closed and the hamburger wrapping had holes in and not all the ends were closed... this is Unacceptable I would by it from the store like that why would I take it home to feed my family. My steaks had the paper falling off there tape didn’t even stick anymore i end up having to re wrap and cleaned up all the tubes This place should be shut down !!!!

We got a quarter beef and came back with horrible packaging, ground beef tubes were all dirty and covered in blood, ground beef tubes were broken open, we got cuts we did not order.The steaks were wrapped in freezer paper and were attempted to be taped shut, most of the tape was falling off and paper was unwrapping. All we were told is to not call back and dont come here again, there was nothing they could do. horrible service and company will not be coming back again.

They have a lot of different Meats there. They do a great job processing your deer, other than the venison steak that we get back always seems to be huge instead of more well-proportioned for 2 people.
