Dollar General as a company has gotten in a lot of trouble for dirty stores, and this one fits the bill. Worst retail store in town. Employees are constantly playing their own personal soundtracks at full blast as they check you out or walk around the store. Self checkout was down, when they opened another register, the cashier didn’t take one of the 6 people in line and instead took someone who wasn’t in line. When the Dollar Tree in town is leaps over than the Dollar General, you know it’s bad.

I get that it's hard to find workers these days especially at the hourly rate this place offers! Which is nothing, but is it too much to ask a new employee to say HI when they are performing customer service jobs at your filthy infested stores in america??? Just sayin...

I haven’t been here in quite awhile because the staff here wasn’t friendly, always on their phones and not helpful. But I gave it another shot and I was very happy with how this store has changed. The girls working were very helpful when I asked where something was. I believe I talked with the store manager and she was very friendly as well. Another great thing was that I finally didn’t have to wait long for someone to check me out. They were very attentive and the store is definitely better. I will be coming back more due to this. Keep up the god work! ;)

Disgusting. Just moved here and won't set foot in this store again. Filthy dirty, half empty shelves, employee telling customer about her troubles, some kind of manager trying to call someone ( an employee?) on the phone and called her a b**** when she didn't answer. All the things a customer sure wants to hear!

It's a dingy store, they all are but what gets me is how every one has a revolving door for employees.I suspect they get sick of trying to keep up stocking with checking out customers.This is not a city who's residents respect others and wear masks.Despite signs on the door, this one is subject to that but worse, I've seen employees with masks pulled down rendering them useless.Use your best judgement if going in here.Far from handicap accessible too.

Well to be honest the young lady today 7-7-2020 at 12 noon was and always very helpful and very polite, and always makes me smiling, so I'd have to say that on a scale of 1 through 10! She deserves a 10 ! But that male that just started, an a scale of 1 through 10 I have to say -10 sorry but it's true! But the young lady definitely was overall today a 10+

The employees that work there are amazing and treat you like family. The manager Crystal is great and Amber the assistant manager is also great. Every time I walk into the store, I get greeted and it is wonderful.

This place is unfortunate. The prices of items are really reasonable, and it is a wonder to see the selection of items they have on hand. However, the service is not good, the store is perpetually in disarray, and I've been here three times over the course of a year and twice there were wild birds flying around inside the store. The first time I asked the cashier about it in amazement, and she just sighed and informed me that it was a common occurrence.

The stocking employees are not wearing masks and they all sounded sick! Coughing, sneezing, sniffling, wheezing...Plus, they were all rushing up and down every aisle, so I felt like everything was contaminated. Might stay away from this location for a while.

You can beat the prices at Dollar General. The customer service is always great and very helpful! The store is always clean and the bathroom is also! IneouI definitely recommend shopping here!

Absolutely the most service orientated store. There are ladies that work there who are willing to help you find anything, find the best deal and truly want you to save money. I was impressed. No matter who you are, they treat you with respect. Thank you Watertown for having this store and thank you employees for being so friendly and helpful.

really nice employees clean friendly you can get just about everything at a Dollar general from toiletries for your house diapers for your baby snacks hair supplies dies it's a really nice little store and it has good prices on everything

The store always has an odd smell that is quite offputting. Shelves are always untidy. The staff is hard to locate or so involved with their friends, that customer service is lacking

I like stoping in here if I need something quick. Wish the store was bigger it's hard to maneuver around especially when they are stocking shelves and product is all over the place

It's between the zone of the absolute deals of dollar tree and a regular store, providing a great array of prices and products that are good for everyone, particularly their $1 2-liter drinks and $1 pack ramen, which I personally frequent. Better deals are here and there between stores, but DG is good for anyone looking for a nice and cheap experience with definite quality that lasts and won't find at DT stores but will generally be cheaper then at regular stores. Basically a minnie wal-mart, but without some products and cheaper with the exact same products. It's right in town rather than a bit of a ways away so you don't have to worry about going too far either, perfect for going a quick walk and getting a few good groceries you need.

They are more expensive than Walmart which is whatever but dont call yourself a dollar store if you charge more than the local department stores. Walmart is right across town so I will go there.

Service is complete and utter garbage if you wanna stand in a 15 miniute line for your couple items by all means go here the store is always cluttered with one person at the check out while two or three employes sit around

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Nobody is ever around to check you out. You have to search the store for the worker to pay for your stuff. They should invest in self checkouts then it wouldn't matter that the staff sucks

Dirty and unorganized. Waited in line to check out for a very long time. The line was very long and the other person admitted she wasn't paying attention and that's what took her so long to help.
