I am not against self checkouts but this store needs to seriously get it's self checkout system in check. Not only was the belt on the check out flagging every single product I tried to scan but then the gentleman helping with the area was extremely embarrassing. Every time the belt on this check out system flagged an issue, which was every other item I placed, the lead checker would come over and make us remove every item from our bags to prove that we weren't stealing products, super embarrassing. Then to make matters worse, the lead checker would attempt to train us on how to scan and put one item on the belt at a time. If you have to train the public to do a job that technically the store should do, then why have employees? I truly do not understand this store and it's not the only time this has happened. I have used self checkouts at Walmart and all over many times and have never had issues or felt as dumb as I did at this store on several occasions. I called the store this morning to discuss with the manager and I have to be honest, she advised she would talk to the associates and explained that they have been having issues with the self check out belts but I don't feel like that's a great resolution. Shut these belt check outs down until you figure this out. Last night was my last visit to this local store, I will take a hard pass on visiting and being lectured on how to do an employees job as a customer. Unreal.

Matt the cashier- DOB 2/20---What a nice young man! Super friendly, cheery, good eye contact. He said "Hello miss!" (much appreciated instead of ma'am)During the short interaction I could tell this guy will go far in life. I had to give a review because I don't see this often. Great job!!! Plus, he realized we have the same bday. COOL!

I had such a bad exercise at this store! All the aisle are so small to get through, not to mention the associates blocking all of the aisle with all their pallets of stuff on them! It's cramped and the experience is not worth it, you can get better prices else where. I'd recommend some of the bigger stores.

I hate this store!! I go to the Burlington store when I can. This store is very poorly managed. It’s kids that work there and none of them want to work. I would love to sit down with the regional manager. Best thing for this store is a sendicks to move out on hwy 36. 👎👎

We've lived in the area for two years now, and this grocery store is the closest to us. It's not the greatest but gets the job done for basics. However, this store does seriously need to address the number of expired products they allow on shelves. Just last night I looked at a jar of almond butter I purchased within the last two months, and the best buy date is August 2022. We are fairly good about checking since this has happened more than once before, but there's no way this store can be unaware of the issue.

Joseph the stocker stopped what he was doing(pulling a large pallet) and helped my wife find gluten free graham crackers. He did it with a smile. He genuinely wanted to help. Employees like that are hard to find. He didn't just point or name an aisle, but walked us there and made sure we saw it. Give him a raise.

I was there the other night and there was a very nice kid named Cole working the self checkout isle, I have had a stroke in the past n I was kinda slow... He was so nice n cheerful n helped me with my bags . I usually don't care for this store, but after dealing with him n how happy he was to help me, I may have changed my mind!

Tremendous service by Rebecca! She came from another department to create wonderful balloons for my daughters birthday party. Rebecca was creative in making a bouquet with my daughter's favorite colors with a dash of artistry! If much of the staff is like Rebecca, we will shop here even though it is further from Burlington.

This is the worst pick n save I’ve been in. Their produce are borderline rotting & that’s when they have it. When I asked an employee what days they restock he said, “whenever we get to it”. The store as a whole is poorly stocked. After not being able to purchase common main ingredients, I resorted to the deli. The chicken was very overcooked & dry. I’ve also noticed they rarely check expiration dates on their dairy products. I never leave reviews, but every time I shop here I’m disappointed in the selection.

I used to shop here often but I get sticker shock every time I am in there. They are gouging consumers and priced way higher than Woodmans, Costco and Aldis. Oscar Meyer Bacon at Woodmans is $4.99 and at Sendiks its $6.99. Canned & boxed goods are usually much higher too. Inflation is going down but I will remember how you and Sendiks made it much, much worse. Your stores are pretty empty and in search of short term profits you have lost long time customers. Smart business, Kroger!

I know why the deli department isn’t more profitable. EVERY time that I’ve tried to pick up some lunch meat, there are at least 3-4 people “working” behind the counter, and not 1 will acknowledge you. I don’t expect them to drop everything right away, but at least let me know that you are aware that I’m waiting! I have, each time, will give them 5 minutes then I walk away. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Waterford location shutters their doors soon. They certainly aren’t interested in selling groceries!

Since Kroger got involved, products have been going downhill relating to quality. Went to Pick n save In Waterford and all pickles were expired. There was not one jar that was not-expired. Also saw other items like cheese, milk, and canned items, that weren’t rotated in quite some time and saw noticeable expiration or damage to the packaging of the product. My experience before that one I had to bag my own groceries. The cashier was very nice but there were 5 people at the customer service/manager desk watching our transaction and talking amongst each other. Might I add this was around 8:30pm so it wasn’t very busy inside. The cashier asked for help, but nobody proceeded to help as I continued to bag my OWN groceries. Once I had everything bagged and put into the cart, we walked away and another employee came to help the next person in line. Needless to say, I was not happy at all. And the group that was talking together did not wish us a good day or even say a word to me as I walked out of the building. I guess it’s too hard to have any customer service here....There have been moments where I’ve had some good encounters with employees, but 9 times out of 10, they are terrible experiences.

Mid July I ordered a 1/2 sheet carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Pick up was 9 am July 28th. Fifteen minutes before pick up time they called informing me that they were out of cream cheese frosting. So I went with butter cream. It was decorated beautifully. When we cut into cake it was 3/4" thick at most with 1/2" frosting. 6 out of my 13 guests commented about how thin and way too much frosting. I just had a carrot cake from them 2 weeks ago that was delicious.Very disappointed. Called to talk to someone in bakery and they don't answer. The cake was 3/4" thick and frosting was 1/2".decorations was

This location is now my home location. I want to say that I’m thankful that it is well put together and friendly staff. But I do want to say that the floral department is awesome. Rebecca the florist is absolutely amazing. She personally did an flower arrangement for me and let me tell you she made the most gorgeous arrangement. She knows what she is doing.

I've been shopping at this store for 4 years. Everyone knows my name and my mother's name and is quick to help. Try the chicken and wild rice soup! Trust me, it's worth it.

I have lived here 10 years and this is the worst store I have ever shopped. My first experience was after moving day. The customer ahead of me also had just moved that day and had a 2 year old son. They would not take her check and son started to cry. She asked to talk to the manager who came out and not only denied her check but at first refused to let me put her groceries on my charge. Finally he gave in and I paid for her groceries. All but 2 experiences have been about the same. Expired food, asking for my ID---I am in my late 50's'--poor service. They change managers way too often. For a few months they had a female manager who was great and seemed to be making changes but she did not last long. Not long ago I encountered a very young night manager that was also visable, friendly, and used common sense. And don't get me started on the horrible meat department.

She made my day.... I was looking for a simple cake for my daughter's 3 year birthday party. I asked if a decoration.was possible. The young girl by the bakery desk was not even familiar with my daughter's favourite "peppa pig""...I will figure it out, she said... I came back few min later... Done! I will repeat that store over and over again for my groceries just because of that. Great job!

Have been customer for 10 years with having customer card. When approaching the cashier, I asked for her to use my phone number, as didn't have card with me. After checking groceries, she asked for number. I repeated the number three different times with her being unable to get the numbers correctly entered. She then didn't know what to do. Instead of having another person to help, she left it up to me.I purchased 60.00 of groceries. I told her to forget it. There were three people next in line waiting for cashing out.Something has left service vise, kindness, since the change has happened.I do appreciate new flooring, some of the updating of freezer units, but give me the old cashier s, and there patience and kindness's .

I read the articles from 4 years ago, and so, I cannot tell you how it was like then, since I did not live here. But, I can tell you that it's relatively decent, and in reality there isn't a store in the area that's within 5 miles of Waterford/Windlake; so, it's OK with me.Chris in the meat department has been exceptionally helpful when wanting a desired meat to be ordered, has even called my phone to let me know that it was in! All-in-all it's not bad, I would say "good", I think that "Waterford's" hospitality has still some essence here. I suppose I can't say that it's bad, because I haven't had a bad experience, except one time I think a clerk took an extremely long time to process an order, but she may have been new.3 thumbs up!(out of 5)

My experience as usual was comfortable, though they dont carry as many choices as the Pick 'Save in Hales Corners.Even the liquor area is missing many nicer items we usually but.Their cashier's are competent and friendly.

I would honestly give this store no stars. Ever since they changed to Kroger, there products suck. Produce is always spoiled. I just bought a gallon of milk yesterday with Use by date 11/05... and it was SPOILED... There meat is always fowl smelling 🤢🤢 The fruits and vegetables are moldy or soggy. Shredded cheese moldy. I will no longer be spending my money at this store. I will start shopping other stores.

The app is pretty nice easy to use. I wasnt sure about this option because i pay a lot attention to details when shopping because i know how hard the job can be...specially during this stressful time. So i reviewed a lot of the products before leaving and saw things were mostly looking good. So got home and found little spoiled asparagus and soft cucumber. Then i found planters raw nuts expired in april 11th 2020. Recieved them on the 13th of april. Then i called to express my conerns and the guy said the words sorry for your experience but can i call you back? I wasnt even going to get that frustrated but then the representative said that and that's when i said thats not right. I once worked in retail and know the stresses of the job. And i know things get over looked. So maybe next time someone calls to express a concern after working all day, getting groceries in the evening and after wiping and cleaning everything off....you consider talking to that person if you answer the phone. Otherwise if too busy dont answer. So liked the app, not the customer service at the location i picked up at. Maybe that person needs more training,so i dont want to ruin the whole store cause the girls who talked to me at my car were pleasant.Went back a second time after they helped me with my issues last visit and had better experience. Thank you for making up for mistake and making second trip much better doing the pick up option .

Kroger has ruined our local grocery store. Choices are limited, product is out of stock, and products are expired. I will now drive out of my way to go elsewhere. However, it is important to note that the staff are friendly. I like that they employ so many high school kids and retirees.

I would give this store negative 5 stars if i could. This is, without question, the worst grocery store I've ever been in. Spoiled meat in the coolers, mold on the vegetables, it's always dirty and every single employee is more interested in screwing around than doing their job. I don't know who manages this store, but they should be fired. I can't imagine that this store will be in business much longer. Worth driving to Sendiks just to avoid this disgrace.

This establishment is lacking only one thing: imperfection.Every single time that I walk into Waterford Pick n Save, I am warmly greeted by all of the employees. They are all shockingly welcoming and kindhearted that sometimes I find myself back at the store twice-- occasionally thrice--a day. In addition to the exceptional employees, the store is wonderful because of the all of the opportunities to save money. Whether it be the new digital coupons, the store coupons, manufacturer coupons, or weekly discounts, there is always some way to buy groceries without breaking the bank. In my opinion, the addition of e-coupons has made grocery shopping into more of a game than a chore, and I especially love the Free Friday downloads. Though I could go on for days about my high satisfaction with this Pick n Save, I don't want to make my appreciation post too lengthy. I encourage everyone to give this store a test run, but I will warn that after shopping here once, you will be unable to handle the comparatively sub-par customer service found at other grocery stores.

Disappointed! Inside the door had pizza special 2 for $12, and apparently in fine print with card. I didn't have their fresh perks card so I was charged $7.99 each. At least put the signs with equal size print so I know what to expect!

This is a small, older store with a good variety but the prices are crazy. We generally only stop here when we are in a hurry and can't make it to Burlington. For example a six-pack of sport bottle waters that cost $1.99 at the competitor sells for $4.99 here. I don't mind paying a little extra for conveniences, but the prices are ridiculous.

This location definitely needs a facelift. Variety is scarce and often out of stock for weeks. The staff is very nice, and it's a convenient location, but it needs a major update.
