The location is truly beautiful. Two of the four homes are new and I am sure they are beautiful too. We stayed in one of the older two, blue house, and I would never do that again. Frankly I have nightmares from it, I will just say it had something to do with septic tank and our interests or comfort were not a priority for the owner. We would not stay again.

Absolutely love the view from our "blue" cottage that was actually white. There was room beside our cottage to store our boat. They have a boat launch conveniently located on the property. The owner Bill came around to welcome us with his puppy. Gave my husband fishing advice on where and what baits to use for the time of year (fall). He also informed us that this cottage was being bulldozed in a couple weeks to make way for a new one. Looking forward to seeing it. The grounds are well maintained and have seating by the water for watching the sun rise or set. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

I can’t say enough about this place! We (3 couples) rode our motorcycles up & stayed in the yellow cabin over Labor Day Wknd. I had text Bill (the owner) we’d be arriving late around 8:30pm. As we pulled in the driveway…Bill came out and met us & informed us he had left lights on for us…knowing we were coming in late and on bikes.Our cabin was beautiful & very homey…little throw blankets to snuggle with, bag of fresh coffee beans, fresh tomatoes & bottles of water! 🤗One motorcycles radio got left on and Bill came down and helped us out…without hesitation.Like I said it was 3 couples in. 2 bdrm, 2 bath cabin and by no means were we cramped. My husband & I slept on the sofa (big L shaped sofa) which folds into a bed but we just slept on the sofa..very comfy!We brought games to play but we didn’t need to the have some there.Like I said I can’t say enough about this place! Very neat, clean & absolutely peaceful! Couple miles to grocery store & Bayfield/Apostle islands.We all agreed we’d go back in a heart beat.

Pure contentedness is how my husband and I would describe our all-too brief stay at Bodin's Bayfield Resort. After a hectic year of COVID, buying a house, getting dogs, and settling in to married life, we couldn't imagine a more perfect place to stay for our 1st anniversary. We loved relaxing on the deck at night, waking up to an incredible view of Lake Superior each morning, and having a fire on the lakeshore. Our dogs loved all the grass to run and running along the shore. Bill was a wonderful host who made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was so cozy; complete with everything you'd need and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. We can't wait to come back and stay longer! P.S. Bodin Fisheries has some of the best smoked fish we have ever had! Definitely check it out :)

I had the pleasure of organizing a Bachelor party for one of my best friends and chose to stay at Bodin's for our weekend getaway. I cannot say enough about this wonderful facility. The two cottages (four total) that we occupied were wonderfully clean and well stocked with all the supplies we needed for the weekend (dishes, cooking utensils, soaps/shampoos, fans etc.). The property itself is on a wonderful sandy stretch of shoreline along Lake Superior, just north of Chequamegon Bay, with stunning views of Madeline and Long Islands. Apart from the wonderful water access (boat launch included) are plenty of wide open grassy areas, fire pits, a hiking trail to secluded sitting spots, and even a neat old water-filled quarry (no swimming but a neat sight nonetheless). Hannah the resort manager was very communicative and easy to work with prior to and during our stay. I'll definitely be back!

Its beautiful. The grounds have access to the lake and a lagoon. The two cabins we rented are new and clean. The price is excellent. And it is private. If you want luxury stay at the yellow house. We rented the red house as well and it was lovely.
