They had a pump & tools for bikes outside. Beautiful seating area outside, garden area, a place to get something to eat inside. Lots of good stuff inside. Prices on somethings are not too bad. Handicap parking & entrance.

This grocer offers quality produce and ingredients. The meat and cheese selection is vast and plentiful. There are many gluten free and vegan options. Additionally, the deli and hot food bar has many options for a take out lunch.

large, roomy store, with plenty of cash registers, great signage, pleasant and helpful employees, and a plethora of selections. From frozen, fresh, dried, canned and bagged food, plus many many selections of other healthy products, including magazines, makeup, some clothing, candy, and plants.

A decent selection of food from local farms, and their bulk section is good. Employees are very approachable and have strong interpersonal skills. All parts of the store are clean, organized, and absolutely gorgeous. Pleasant seating areas.

This co-op is a gem of an organic, locally sourced plethora of produce, home health, deli, flora & fauna (some enormous, tasty brats and other savory treats from the deli. Well worth your time to peruse their wares. I enjoy walking the isles here exploring all the wonderful wares! No doubt, you will, too!

Okay, this place used to be a great place to grab food. Not cheap but worth it.Not any more, it's gone to hell in a handbasket. No food made to order, just what they call the hot bar, and what was there had obviously been there a while and looked disgusting. One of the soups was empty, I raised it and assumed they would bring more out so we waited, turns out it takes 40 minutes to make soup. Not that anyone bothered to tell us and as I pointed out, I don't work there so how would I know?I know what the response is going to be, they are understaffed and can't help it, they are doing their best.Well, I'm not buying that. They looked like they had plenty of staff, they just didn't appear to be doing a great deal. And even if they are understaffed, that doesn't excuse the dried up food on the hot bar or the soup running out.If it's what you are doing due to the circumstances then do it well.It was lunch time, you should keep an eye on the soup and start making it when you start to get low so you don't fun out, particularly if it takes 40 minutes to make. And the total inability to communicate what is happening has nothing at all to do with being short staffed.Absolutely pointless going there.

Corporate caricature of a real co-op. Why is Sysco making deliveries to a store that sells itself as local and organic? Where does the 11 million dollars in profit go? At a real co-op, members would get some of that money back at the end of the year. Why are they selling you repackaged products and putting their own labels on it instead of investing profit and your membership fees into making it themselves? You’re paying top dollar for frozen products that in some cases are neither local nor organic. At a real co-op employees would be paid a living wage. There’s a reason there’s such a high employee turnover. Something to keep in mind when you’re patting yourself on the back and drinking the kool-aid. It’s not a co-op it’s a food cult and it’s bad for the community.

Great little grocer in the heart of town with excellent lunch and early dinner eating options for travelers such as ourselves. My wife and I bought some made-to-order hot sandwiches and grabbed a few icy beverages from the wide selection of singles available for dine-in or grab-and-go. We ate in the cozy little cafe seating area in the front. Will be back next time we pass thru for driftless fishing and/or the Renn Faires held further north...

Great food, salad bar, sandwiches, hot food and soup. All fresh all wonderful. The grocery is sufficient for anything you're looking for including beer, wine and spirits.

Love the co+op! That has so many wonderful organic choices, it’s always like an adventure when I go in there. You never know what else you’re going to find that would be super beneficial! Also love their sitting area!

Wow was this a pleasure and surprise! So busy and for good reason. This place has so much to offer. We had sandwiches made to order and ate outside on their patio. The (local) bookstore was a bust, but this place was worth the trip.

Kitchen here makes some great pre packed food . Desserts are also very good . The beverage choices available is outstanding. If you want some really "Good" food fast to take home ,this is the place to stop . The rest of the store is nice also but for me the prepared foods dept is just awesome. Thanks Viroqua Food you have a good team

I found organic, locally grown apples there that actually have healthy, viable seeds in them!!! Thank you to the manager lady and employee who were very patient with me throughout the process of my asking them to cut produce open in order to prove to me that the local fruits they were selling were not sterile!I do need to tell them though, that the figs which I bought from there - had barely any seeds in them! Please get hold of the company growing and selling them and/or any of the other seedless foods and hold them accountable! This is not a problem to ignore or to continue to perpetuate because you might lose money if you do not sell their foods which are unfit for consumption no matter how awesome they may taste!People! Check your produce!!! I have found totally and/or almost completely seedless 🍎 Apples, bananas, cucumbers, 🍐 pears, grapes, oranges, grapefruit, lemons, persimmons, and even figs and tomatoes labeled organic! Seedless watermelon, navel oranges, grapes, bananas etc, etc, are not health foods!!! Anyone who is selling these sterilized fruits regardless of the mass sterilization they are causing in both humans and animals are committing unprecedented crimes against humans and nature itself!!!Please have your grocers cut open these things before you buy them and do not buy them if the seeds are flat, tiny, and clearly impossible to grow!!! We need to hold anyone growing and anyone selling these items accountable for participating in this mass sterilization of nature which they are part and parcel in perpetuating!!! If we do not pull together and demand that this stop and hold perpetuaters accountable for this we might as well kiss our future beloved generations goodbye!!!

Fantastic food co-op. Beautifully renovated facility with great selection and a very helpful staff.Really disappointed on last 2 visits as store has really scaled back. No burrito bar(was SO popular) and coffee bar hours are very inconsistent. Lunch bar was depleted at 12:30 pm one visit and the remains were unappetizing. Few baked items. Seems they simply are no longer staffed adequately.

Knowledgeable friendly staff. Great selection and variety. The produce is extremely fresh and the prices are comparable to other stores in the area, but is so much fresher.

Excellent stop for organic produce and groceries. The hot bar is high quality and even has gluten free options. It has been over ten years since I was here last and the place has significantly improved. Of the many local co-ops that I have visited around the country this is one of the best.

It's a clean store with very nice looking produce. For a co-op, they certainly don't carry a lot of vegetables or local meat though. Sure, there's some but not what one might expect. The vast majority of the store is dedicated to processed junk and faux eco friendly garbage. Prices are high, which is fair on some products, but not others. Also, how does a store that smells so much like curry not sell plain garam masala? I want to love it but I can't.Update: Found garam masala there at last. Credit where credit is due. Not changing my star rating because it cost me 25 dollars to make creamed spinach with mushrooms.

What a great location! We stopped by to pick up some kombucha on our way back home and they had a great selection. The store itself is a decent size and everything is neatly and well stocked. They even have a nice selection of bulk goods!

Very nice visit. Clean- single person/spacious enough for a family restrooms. Staff at the coffee bar/deli were willing and able to serve a 1/2 caff latte at 5:30 pm! Chicken soup at deli hit the spot. And the coop mini French baguettes were fantastic!

Organic foods, Gluten free, GMO free and local grown. Huge varieties and selections in bulk, and fresh foods. Local farmers produce, meats, milks breds etc. "Austin Rush Creek Farm", was what we were looking for. Their products are canned in glass jars. Dilly Beans, Pickled Beets and Berry Jams, we're well stocked and are delicious! It's a well stocked CO-Op and Friendly .

This is a small food store with a limited selection although the produce selection is pretty good. A lot of items are organic and very pricey. A quarter pound or so of packaged organic turkey is over $6. Still, it's fun to visit because it's so clean and because unusual brands are carried.

This is the best grocery experience I've ever had! The guy working in produce was very helpful. He helped us with a salad mix that was great and with two different types of avacado. Always good food at the deli counter too!

Food choices and people great! They had local Go Macro bars too! Keep the political bias dialed back though please. Choosing food should be able to be done without judgement or shaming to those who can't or choose not to wear a mask.

I've never seen a co-OP as large and complete as this. Lots of.food items and as sundries. Wonderful, friendly help. I had a great conversation with a nice young lady named Sarah. Made me want to stay longer and chat. She was so helpful finding the products I was looking for. It so nice while traveling far from home to find such nice, helpful, and interesting people.

My favorite co-op! If we're in the area we will try to stop for lunch at the deli. My favorite is the Korean Ruben sandwich, with kimchi instead of sauerkraut. Nice beer selection in the cooler too.

Great selection of fresh, local, and organic foods. Their ready made roasted chicken was fantastic. The store was in the middle of a massive expansion when I visited, can imagine how much more space there will be once it's complete. Looks like it will be great.

What a great organization store. Great selection, I was able to find spices and beans here I couldn't find elsewhere. Inexpensive and convenient. The hot bar always has really good already prepared food, you can also order sandwiches. Everything I have purchased here has been of the best quality and absolutely love the people!
