Always a good experience coming to Nelson's in Viroqua. Wish we lived closer. They have everything a small farm town should carry. Good brands and good folks.

Switched to Ace a few months ago. Seems to be highly staffed since. Prices reasonable. Not able to find colored grease crayons here. UPDATE: Brass plumbing connectors almost 40% cheaper at Gassers in Boscobel. UPDATE 4/13/24 OIL & related stuff less here than Tractor Supply.

I took my 20 plus years old 2 cycle earthquake hole driller to Nelson’s small engine repair shop because it would not start for the first time this spring.They tried a new carburetor and found that there was another problem that they could not repair.I picked it up after a week or so expecting to pay for a carburetor and labor. I was blown away when the mechanic said, “No Charge. I don’t charge if I can’t fix it”. Wow.He had to have put at least and hour or two of labor into the machine to figure out it was unrepairable. I fully expected to pay for that service. No charge . . .his parting words, “Bring me something I can fix and I will charge you.”You bet I will be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Rental equipment is a bit beat up, especially skidsteers. Broken windows and A/C didn't work. Kind of pricey at $60 hr. I would recommend Sparta Hardware Store or the Do It center.

I stopped to get flowers from the greenhouse. They always have a wonderful variety of healthy plants. They also have plenty of yard ornaments and birdbaths. The store itself is always clean and organized and the staff is friendly.

I am originally from Viroqua but moved away in 1990. I always shopped at the Agri Center for all my horse feed and farn needs. I recently had to make the trip doemwn from La,Crosse to get car vaccines as no had them except the agri center. I drove up at approx 7 15 am. There was a man wiping down the entrance rails then blowing out the entry ways. The place was immaculate!It brought back so many wonderful memories! I give them much more than 5 stars!!!!Thanks for the memories. Sincerely Debbie Cade

Today I had a problem with my mower. Instead of getting a trailer, loading it up and taking it in, I decided to check with the guys in the repair shop. While discussing my problem with Cody, Dustin overheard and asked if I still had a Simplicity Conquest. I said yes and he said I should check the cruise control lever as it can cause a problem if it is even slightly pulled forward. I went home and sure enough, the lever was just a little forward. Pushed it back and the mower started and ran like new!Thanks Dustin for your knowledge of your craft and for helping me! You saved me time and effort on a 90+ degree day.

They have such a wide variety of everything from plumbing, to farming, ammunition, clothing, house wares etc. It's a one stop store to shop. Highly recommend Nelson's Agri-Center!💞

I rented a bunch of stuff from these folks and they were great. They were short on staff to set things up, but they worked with us to find a solution -- they ended up dropping off a trailer ahead of time with the equipment and picking it up later. The guys who did the delivering were very friendly too. I'd love to do business with them again some day.
