My wife and I rented e-bikes to explore the nearby farmlands and gain some experience on this kind of bike we had never ridden. The staff was very helpful in explaining the various advantages and distinctives of various models and brands. The bikes we rented were in excellent condition, as were the included helmets. We had a great ride through beautiful farmland. I really prefer doing business with locally-owned and managed bike shops. Bluedog Cycles is that kind of shop... and if I lived in the area (we were in the area on vacation) I imagine it would be my go-to shop.

I dropped into Bluedog without an appointment today, and in one stop, I found help with learning to do my own basic bike maintenance, answers to my gear questions, tips on bike fit adjustment, and a chance to share about my riding plans. I'm grateful these folks know their stuff and offer such a great resource right here in the heart of the Driftless.

Left a message of the bike I was looking for after contacting a dozen Kona dealers within 3-4 hours of where I live. The next day, Pete the owner called me and said they had the bike. Cost was much lower than I expected. When I contacted them, I talked to Andy and worked with him throughout the process. They are a 3 hour drive for me. As I expressed my interest, they were willing to hold the bike for a bit until I could get there. The next day, I made my way to get the bike. Andy was awesome, very helpful, personable and friendly. I highly recommend Bluedog for anybody’s cycling needs.

i have an older bike and a previous bike shop would not even look at it. Took my bike to Bluedog Cycles and received excellent service from them. There was not problem with them fixing my older bike. Andy was very friendly and explained what he was going to do with my bike and when i picked it up also explained what was done.

I had an issue with a tube rupturing immediately after I replaced it at home - I brought in the wheel to have Bluedog help me determine what the cause may be. Andy was super helpful and looked the wheel and tire over with me, and explained potential causes. He also replaced the tube for me for a very reasonable price. I'll definitely be coming back to Bluedog!

Did a week long rental of a full suspension Santa Cruz 5010. I filled out the form online the night before and when I came in the next day they already had it set up for me and had me test out the suspension before heading out. The people there are friendly and suggested some spots to ride and they were fun and it helped to find a daily workout to try out my knee 6 months after surgery. Nothing crazy difficult, just low grade climbs with slight technical areas. I had an issue with the bike and had to turn it in early by a day, but they gave me a partial refund. Good staff and very nice bikes! Next time I visit my Aunt I will be renting again from them.

I love bikes and this place makes me salivate. The selection of mountain bikes are great. Theres a very nice vibe to this store. I have visited on 3-4 occasions and it's very welcoming. They carry Kona, Salsa, Santa Cruz, Liv,and Giant along with accesories. Bluedog Cycles employees are down to earth, customer service orientated, knowledgeable about their product, relatively quick at servicing and accommodating at test rides.

These guys are awesome. They took a lot of time getting us set up with a rental, making sure everything was tuned up proper, and a quality bike for a rental. Got my bike suspension all tuned up and had nothing but friendly chats with every single dude at the shop. Nothing but great feels. They have a great selection of quality bikes. Pete, the owner, is also the founder of the local non profit Vernon Trails which builds and maintains all the local Mountain bike trails, so they have lots of great info for ya to find good spots to ride.

I came in to look at mountain bikes and I was very impressed with the knowledge and service that Patrick provided me. I've been riding road and gravel for years, but I am brand new to mountain biking. Patrick explained things to me in a way that didn't make me feel like I should know all this already and that was very much appreciated. Went in to the shop today to take a look at a gravel bike I've been eyeballing for a few weeks on the internet. Cody was awesome and very patient. He knew I wasnt going to buy today but still was incredibly helpful. He spent 45 minutes answering my questions, sizing me and getting two bikes ready for me to test ride. Amazing service and extremely knowledgable. I'll happily make the drive from LaCrosse and make this place my go-to bike shop in the future. Can't wait to get back soon with some more cash in my pocket.

The service at Bluedog Cycles is superb.I was on a bike tour through the driftless area and required a lower gear for the thigh burner hills out there. Bluedog Cycles accommodated me immediately. They replaced my chain and cassette within an hour. They charged a very reasonable price for all of their work as well.The staff all had a lot of knowledge about the area's biking. They provided a terrific route for me to travel the next day.I fully recommend Bluedog Cycles!

The shop itself is great. Recently had an experience where a sales worker laughed at the idea of a bike shuttle when we asked about one. My and my boyfriend were on a long trip when some medical issues came into play where we were considering a shuttle service. I probably won’t stop again.

The service at this place is just great. The owner was super flexible, took time for us and enthusiastically made sure we were able to cycle in the beautiful Kickapoo Valley, although we were not that prepared (no standard for the bicycles etc.). I really liked the decoration of the shop and the coffee they serve (they do! :-)).

I went into Bluedog a few months back and was taken baxk by the young woman who was working there. I asked her one question about bike frames and she went in for about 20 minutes. These people know their bikes. Next time I'm gonna ask about the frame difference between male and female. I will be back.
