Great experience with vaccine appointment. Online scheduling was very easy and convenient. Signs in-store made it very clear where to go. Check in and vaccine administration were very fast. Store seemed well-stocked and well-staffed.

Verona wi location terrible customer service .. mean disrespect customer .. I went there to do price match online and the cashier give me a ugly attitude " we not doing pricr match"Me: when did your policy change???Her: oh since 12 years I don't think our policy change? What the price??Me" 4.79$Her: give me a ulgy face .. what a old lady .Another employee come by and as like: I would make she place order online with a ugly attitude voice.Me: I don't want this anymore I will order online .. left the shampoo there...Such a ulgy attitude

The store is fine but wouldn't recommend using this Walgreens for the pharmacy. 3 hours to fill a ten day supply of antibiotic, staff were unfriendly when called. Other local pharmacy in town is a much better choice, just couldn't use them with the time of day my order was being sent in

This store is an absolute nightmare. I went in to go to the pharmacy and walked down an aisle past a pile of puke on the floor. No cone or wet floor sign, just some random puke.Their pharmacy is a literal garbage fire. No one knows what’s going on and it’s a disaster. I waited almost an hour and an half for my prescription while they helped everybody behind me first. They are rude and ignorant. And god forbid you try to call them. You can’t get past the automated machine. It’s super sad because Verona could do something much better with that corner plot of land than a disgusting, overpriced Walgreens that nobody wants.

DO NOT use the pharmacy here. We have had many prescriptions not even be in stock even though we get notifications that it has arrived. My father pounded on the glass when there were staff present, but no one assisted him.Today specifically, the pharmacy was closed due to short staff…so I can’t get my medication? Seriously? What a joke. Thankfully I’m able to switch to a different pharmacy.

This is not meant to be a rude or condescending comment in any way, but when the store's nighttime management and staff in general consists entirely of high-schoolers, it can be tricky to deliver consistent, quality service. This location has a different atmosphere in the morning VS the evening. I think more in-depth mentoring and a more customer focused attitude will help the nighttime staff. Walking into the store in the morning, I am greeted, helped to the item(s) I'm looking for, and even thanked for shopping with them. Walking into the store in the evening, I am never greeted, I'm never helped unless I ask, and I am never thanked for shopping with them.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. Was in there around 9pm on Sunday night and the old lady was so incredibly rude. If you’re miserable in life, don’t take it to work. Will not be returning and highly recommend others not to either.

Wai on hold to speak to a pharmacist to find out what's holding up my prescription for 15 minutes until it was 1:30 and they went on lunch break. What a waste of time to deal with a company that puts profits ahead of customer safety and convenience.

Sometimes it’s so hard because sometimes you are stuck between your provider, the insurance company, and Walgreens but, tonight, when my daughter needed her medication, the Walgreens person went the extra mile. My experience with them has ALWAYS been really good. Thank you, Verona Walgreens!

Friendly but understaffed pharmacy. Helpful but a prescription sent by my daughter’s doc at 10am still wasn’t filled at 8pm. Have never had this issue at other locations to this extent.

I have been to a lot of Walgreens in my lifetime. Verona Walgreens is by far the worst. After dealing with them for the past 5 years. I'm officially done!! I have waited in line multiple times more than 30 minutes. Also good luck to anyone picking up a script!! You might have a better chance gambling in Vegas. Today was the final straw. Waited for 15 minutes then another 5 minutes just for the clerk to tell me it wouldn't be ready for another 30 min. I have two kids!! Time management is super important to my family and I. Walgreens might want to look up the definition of "Time management" it might help!! Just saying....We won't be back! To anyone out there life is short, don't waste your time here!!

Terrible pharmacy, just incredibly slow. I have called ahead days in advance and somehow my prescription is never ready when I arrive. The drive thru line is always several cars deep and you can expect to wait 30min in your car just to find out your prescription is not ready. I would rather pay more and lose some convenience at a mom and pop drug store than to ever come back to Verona Walgreens.

I'm mystified by all of the one-star reviews. Have never had any problems with wait times at the pharmacy. On rare occasions I've waited 15 minutes or so, but have learned which times of the day to avoid. Always helpful and have managed to straighten out some issues with my insurance so that I always get my medications & supplies on time and properly covered by my insurance. Of note, all of my prescriptions are e-prescribed and set up for automatic refills.

I went in to pick up a prescription around 5:45 pm the other day. I definitely expected it to be a busy time with everybody on their way home from work and what not. I waited in line for about 15 minutes but that didn’t bother me very much. When i got up the counter, the woman that was working was so rude, not only to me, but to the other employees. I had a question about one of my other prescriptions and she had so much attitude anytime she opened her mouth. I understand they were busy but that was totally unacceptable. I’m considering switching to a different pharmacy because of the way i was treated by this woman.

If you want to get your prescriptions smoothly and professionally, DO NOT come to this pharmacy. I had a pharmacy tech here charge my insurance for a prescription she said was too soon for me to have received. Couldn't figure out for weeks why I couldn't get my prescriptions. We realized it was this walgreens mistake, so we contacted them. They almost refused to check cameras of that day to even believe that I didn't get that prescription. They then also refused to look into the staff working that day. Then suddenly a week later they are admitting their mistake and tell me to just come get the items they have been claiming for WEEKS I already had. So at some point, they just decide to abandon the story theyve been telling....extremely shady and I will be driving out to Madison to get any prescriptions from now on as there is clearly some shady stuff going on behind these pharmacy counters.

Incredibly slow service. They actively ignore the drive thru line, to the point that multiple customers drove off without being assisted after over 20 minutes of waiting. Would not recommend this pharmacy if you're looking for timely service.

Pharmacy Staffs here are not doing a good job. We were waiting in the drive through for 40 minutes until someone came help us while waiting we saw them just talking and walk back and forth. Changing my pharmacy and will not recommend for anybody.

I stopped here to drop off some prescriptions to be filled for my wife because the store is close to our home and I thought it would be quick (antibiotics and some mouth rinse). I waited in line for 30 minutes before getting to the counter. I was told it would be 30-60 minutes to fill the script. I came back 5 hours later and waited in line for 40 minutes. When I got to the counter, I found out the script was never filled, and was asked to wait in the store for another 30-45 minutes while they filled the script. So much for being convenient. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra mile to Target to use the CVS pharmacy.

Wow, you would think after several months of poor reviews for the pharmacy department, they would've hired more staff. That is not the case. I understand peak times will create a wait but sitting at the drive-thru window for 15 minutes without acknowledgment is my limit. I have experienced slow and poor customer service here regularly. This location is very convenient for me, but I think I will take my business elsewhere.

Update 1/26/19: I brought my star rating up from 2 to 4 because I have had a couple of really great folks in the pharmacy help me through the inevitable monthly "we are all out of that prescription".Shortages in medication, however, aren't the staff's fault. Frustrating as heck though. I can't remember his name, but a daytime male pharmacist that name I think starts with an "H" has always been kind and helpful, for the several years i have gone there.Staff have been overall very helpful and do the best they can. That place is always busy, along with just about every other business around Verona. Sigh...I miss the small town days.Previous review:I live nearby so i just accept the downfalls due to convenience. I agree with the pharmacy department lacking in customer service experience or even caring.I also had a situation when a lady pharmacist insinuated I'm a drug seeker because I didn't have insurance at the time. That pharmacist was way out of line. I'm a very loyal customer and a good citizen, so I was pretty offended by that situation. I haven't seen her in a while though, so maybe they have her the boot. Hopefully.

Updated from 1 star to 4 in April 2022. Had a super helpful employee in the photo department today and she completely changed my view on this Walgreens location. The pharmacy and the front checkout are still problematic, but knowing the photo person is so helpful made all the difference for me today. Thank you to Sarah!Prior to 4/22: Consistently slow drive through, unreliable service from pharmacy staff, and they seem annoyed to have customers. Still true in 2022 like it was in 2020.

Today I got my covid bivalent booster, and all went well. Process was timely and efficient. Folks were alert bright and engaging and ready to go at 8:30. I was the sleepy one. The store was well staffed at this time too. I had a pleasant exeperince.

Had a prescription for an antibiotic sent in by my doctor. He wanted me to get started on it immediately so I could get a couple of doses in today. Got a text from Walgreens saying that it was out of stock with no indication of when it would be available. Called to speak to a pharmacist and after holding for 10 minutes was told that they should get it in a day or two. No offer to call other Walgreens stores in the area. When I asked if they could call other stores I was told very rudely they could do that but not until after lunch sometime. I contacted Hometown Pharmacy and was told they have it in stock and would be happy to call Walgreens to have the prescription transferred over to them. I realize that the pharmacist can't necessarily help it when a medication is out of stock, but a failure to offer a better solution than to just wait and rudeness are inexcusable. I am done with Walgreens. Already changed my pharmacy in myChart with my doctor.

Slowest drive-thru pharmacy in the Madison area!!! No matter what time I come to pick up prescriptions - I wait 10+ minutes just to get to the window and speak to the technician. Then another 5 or so minutes to speak to the pharmacist. I don't know if they just don't have enough staff or if the way they do things isn't efficient or what, but it's been this way since I moved here in 2016. I haven't wanted to post a bad review, but it's time. Please do something to be more time efficient!

Slowest pharmacy I have ever used by several orders of magnitude. If prescription is ready at drive through, you wait for 10 to 20 minutes for pharmacist, every time. Once phoned in by doctor, a prescription remains unfilled hours later. I will switch back to fitchburg or maple grove, this place is consistently horribly slow. Avoid at all costs.

Called with a question at 1:30 today. I was actually instructed to call back after 2 pm because no one was available to help. This is odd for a business. There are other pharmacies in the area that I can do business with, that are Customer service friendly.This is not rush hour,and I don't understand why they don't want customers...

Rhonda in photo was amazing! I was in a hurry ran into the store in need of getting a photo printed quickly. Not only did she print my photo immediately, she also saw the frame I was buying was damaged and grabbed a good one. AND going above and beyond even more she helped me put the picture in my frame and safely packed it in my gift bag. THANK YOU Rhonda!! You made my day

The pharmacy department is very slow. Tell us it is going to be 45 minutes. So we leave. Call them back 1 hour later to see if it is ready. They say they were having issues with the insurance company. So they ask us for the information and then say it does not work. Can't someone at least call you to tell you they are having problems. I will never ever use the Walgreens in Verona.
