Super friendly staff! However, the prices for certain items are surprisingly high -- I bought some Drano and Ice Melt but didn't have good cell reception to double-check prices. If you want to do some unplanned/impulse shopping, save your money and go elsewhere.

it's usually a good place with helpful people. but today wasn't.I told the cashier what I was looking for he told me the isle and he used the walkie talkie to get help to that isle. I was walking 5 foot from him. found out 3/4 of that isle is cabnet. as I waited in isle 19 I could hear employees talking about every thing but tools. maybey they couldn't hear the radio because they was talking over each other so I went to farm and fleet

Great to have a hardware store in Verona! You can find lawn care items, paints, tools, and tool rentals.The store is always clean and has helpful friendly staff. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards program.

I stopped in here because I was looking to buy a shop-vac. When I came in the guy running the cashier told me that it was impossible to buy those. They don't make them anymore. I was really confused and I started to leave.An older gentleman who works there stopped me and came out telling me that yes they did sell shop vacs. So I ended up buying one. Nobody offered to help me carry a huge box across the store. And when I asked about getting a receipt for the warranty, the guy working the cashier kept telling me why he couldn't help me.I don't recommend this place. It seems to me like they have kids working here who really don't know what they're doing.

Today, I thought I could find a back way here, even though there was a parade in town, um , no, I couldn’t.I parked across the street, and very silly me, bought a 50 lb bag of concrete. Lol. The nice guy who usually helps with plumbing took the bag across the street for me. Two thumbs up.

Exceptional service. They walked me through what the internet and big box store could not. Big box had me replacing valves (and none of them were actually correct parts, so thank goodness I didn't turn off the water). Highly recommend for insight, service, products, and not talking down to folks.

Yesterday (3/30), I tried to return something purchased a couple months ago to retail salesman Jacob Gray. Didn’t have a receipt, and wasn’t sure if I bought it within their 60 day limit.While I was getting what I came in for, Jacob came up and said he had found my purchase on their system, and told me I was eligible for a refund.He had better things to do, but helped me return my item anyway.Jacob Gray represented his employer in a very positive way to me.

I was able to find what I needed but was able to wonder around for approx 5-10 minutes looking for what I needed until I found it, and get back up to the check out counter without seeing any staff members to even say hello to me. Not that big of a deal because I eventually found what I was looking for but having someone help me to make it go a little faster would have been nice. Other then that it was clean and mostly organized. Glad to have another store like this back in town.

I rented a Honda Billy Goat aerator, very nice equipment. I like the not so crowded environment to check in and check out the equipment. However, some of the staff are new and could use more training on how to use the equipment. There was a few things that was not pointed out which would have saved effort and time in using the aerator. It is a very heavy piece of equipment so how better to use it would have been appreciated.

Excellent customer service! I had two separate problems to troubleshoot this weekend. I was unsure of how to fix the issues and what hardware was required. I worked with Robert and Tom and they helped me through a complete fix. I highly recommend this store and these two staff members.

Welcome to Verona! It is great to have a well equipped Hardware store again. You never know when you will need a single nut, bolt or expulsion tube for an overflowing sump crock!Your staff is helpful and attentive!Well done!

First time I came into the store was yesterday Black Friday. What a great store with superb inventory, I mean really superb. It is an ideal sized store too. The big boxes might be a tad cheaper but there hassle is not worth it. This is a great store.

So glad that Verona has a hardware store again. This store is absolutely top notch. Super clean and organized. Thankful we have a non-big box option. Nothing better than a hometown hardware store and Verona Dorn never disappoints.

I'm a huge fan of the original Dorn stores-- Midvale and Oregon remain, as well as a fairly recently moved store in Sun Prairie. Some of the Midvale staff left to open this store.It looks about the same as it did when it was Ace, and that's not the bad thing. It doesnt have the charm of a hardware store that's been in the same location for 50 years. But it does have the same diverse selection, knowledgeable staff, and fair prices.I'll still go to the Midvale and Oregon stores as they are closer, but this is a great thing for the people of Verona. And I'm sure it will gain some character with years.
