Cool large store with a lot of history. Lovely coffee shop inside with lots of cool touristy decor stuff and a separate clothing, shoe, jewelry area. Also sell suits. Alterations section was closed.

I've always enjoyed the coffee shop and the home section. Clothing and shoes are great quality. The toy section downstairs is very nice! My one wish: products could be less expensive. Great store overall!

Love this place. If your looking for specialty yarn head up stairs. They are so helpful.

This store sells high-quality clothing and shoes for both men and women. They carry Keen footwear. The sales people are also very friendly about pointing out where the other businesses in the building are located.

I go way back with this great store. When I was but a lad, my father took me here to buy clothing and shoes. Always had the best quality.Today this is still a nice place to get quality stuff to wear. Schroeder's has been in business for 132 years. You don't stay in business that long without being at the top of the game.Besides clothing and footwear the store has expanded to including gift items and souvenirs of the area. There is also a nice coffee shop that privides good coffee and good tea along with bakery and other treats.There's a lot of inferior clothing out there. If you are looking for quality, it would behoove you to check this place out.

Good old fashioned look. Great service. Lots of nice things to look at and buy. Very helpful. Coffee shop has good drinks as well. Stop in and check it out. Recommend

I went in to return some stocking caps and I had my receipt. However, apparently I didn't have a credit card receipt? The elderly clerk was all "a Twitter " because my receipt didn't match the price on the stocking caps. I said "that's because I got 30% off. She said "no it had to be 25% because she couldn't make it come out ". I continued to say "no 30%"She went back and forth from one calculator to another until she finally got it to come out as people stacked up behind meShe ended by telling me I should have gone to "mens" where I originally bought it from . She did not make me feel like a valued customer .
