So I’m unsure who the new owners here are but the employees there this year have been awful. They are extremely rude and not friendly in the least. Horrible customer service. The last few times we have gotten food the fries have been cold and the burgers a Luke warm at best. Used to love DQ and now may need to find an alternative. Also tried to go there this evening just because I mean the ice cream is good, Google says they are open till 10 so does Facebook, yet we pulled up at 8 and they were closed. Even the sign on the door says open till 9. Disappointing.

To begin explaining my horrendous experience at Dairy Queen in Tomahawk Wisconsin, Connie (the main cashier) displayed laziness and no intent to provide excellent customer service. We asked for snickers blizzard and received a cup of ice cream with some snickers shavings on top. Next, we got tenders meals, and got chunky old gravy and the “toast” was nothing of the sort. The toast was literally bread flattened down. Also, butter wasn't even melted through the toast. Overall this trip i just had to DQ was sickening. The quality of the food and customer service needs reconfiguration. This is despicable. Last but not least I started to feel a stomach ache right after I ate two tenders.

We were there over Labor Day weekend with our grandkids. The manager was very patient with the kids ordering. He even joked with them and asked the names of the stuffed animals they were holding. Tasty ice cream waterside and a welcoming atmosphere make this a must visit place in Tomahawk!

The older woman at the drive-thru was super rude. She kept telling me my total before I was even finished, and then ignored me when I tried to tell her I wasn't done. It was a challenge to get one chicken tender basket, let alone two and she wouldn't even let me talk long enough to add that I wanted a dilly bar as well. Super rushy to customers, should not taking orders.

Sad this generation knows nothing about hard work an costumer service. No they play there phones while drive thru is packing up with costumers. And didn't even get napkins asked an payed for an extra charge for the fudge an blizzard too. Didn't get felt rushed out she didn't even tip the blizzard up side down either. Can't expect much from kids working now days

Had a small hot fudge sundae and there was no fudge on the ice cream at all. It was put on the side of the dish halfway around. Half way thru the sundae and absolutely no fudge left. Same thing happened when I had a peanut buster parfait, all ice cream very little topping. This place has gone downhill!

The prices have skyrocketed. Today I ordered a dbl cheeseburger combo with onion rings, 6pc chicken strip basket w/drink, and a buster bar and it cost $28. I get most places increased prices, but the only fast food place that genuinely makes me think about my order is DQ. It's nearly $15 per meal. I told my son today that we are done going to DQ.

I am on a bus full of southern gospel singers on tour. We stopped here for something fast so we could eat on the road. They were very fast. We were in & out in less than 30 minutes. The food was good, the service was excellent & all orders were correct. Too bad we couldn't sit & enjoy looking at the lake next door.

Walked in and left.It's covid times so I understand there's no seating inside and they may not be used to people coming inside to order but....We stood there for a few minutes and the employee looked right at us and never said anything. I get that their drive thru was busy but at least say hello/ I'll be right with you...you know, acknowledge our presence...Very rude. Will not be back.

Dairy Queen here has completely went down hill since I have lived here in 1991. You order a thin mint blizzard it's still white barley any mint. Strawberry cheese cake and not the royal one it's still white should be pink. The large cone looks like a small. And the burgers taste like there reheated in a microwave. We will not be returning to this one. We have been driving to rhinelander DQ. They need to step it up. Lots of complaints from the locals.

Well, they might want to check out their bread storage area...Ran there late Monday night to grab food for the kiddies. Didn't expect the kids menu items to come with a side of penicillium.No problems with the other items purchased that night; and the service was courteous.

I love Dairy Queen but the owner absolutely ruined it for me. He came over to me and my younger cousins leaned down by us and talked to us so creepily. After giving off vibes that we didn’t want to talk to him or have anything to do with him he continued to say “Don’t worry, I’m the owner here.” Being the owner of Dairy Queen doesn’t justify you creeping on a bunch of young girls. Once we stopped talking to him he continued to stand by us until finally we were so uncomfortable we left. Never coming here again.

I'm really not sure what has happened in the last year with DQ. It takes forever now to get anything you order and even when you start getting your items, they come out once at a time. The last time we were there, it took forever to get my blizzard. My family was done eating theirs by the time I got mine. The time before this, the forgot my kids slushies and we had to remind them twice that we didn't get them. I don't know if their training was botched or they're just incredibly incompetent but something has to change because they're going to start losing a lot of business if they continue this. I'm giving this 2 stars because the ice cream is pretty good once you get it that is.

Location getting worse every visit. Opens and closes its doors for weeks at a time during all seasons for no apparent reason (Rhinelander open all year) Grandmother aged woman at window has serious attitude if you ask for ketchup packets with your to go order and location as a whole is very slow even when not busy. (Ordered pre-cooked hot dogs) Lots of little kids seem to run the place with little or no adult supervision. (No owner on duty when asked on several visits)

I ordered a meal. I presented the 3 people working I was having a medical problem and needed to use the bathroom. The hallway to the bathrooms are crudely blocked with tables and signs saying due to COVID-19 you can't use them... Employees informed me bathrooms are now for employees only. Person with me asked if they could please make an exception sighting I purchased two meals and it's a medical reason. Can't you make an exception?... "NO you canNOT use the bathroom!"I was left in pain, uncomfortable and humiliated.I was further shocked based on their supposed concerns of health risks they allowed an individual to enter and was served food being dripping wet from water making floor slippery with no shoes or shirt. Wow..prices are higher this season. Lunch for 2 people, Double Cheese Burger, Single Cheese Burger, 2 onion rings $4.79 each and 2 small Blizzards $4.99 each totalled the order to $27.50. Not spending that on lunch again. Food was prepared well...but for that money I can be a a restaurant and take leftovers home.

Terrible. Ordered food. Went to pay and they couldn't get my card to swipe. No way to type in the number. WTH. Went to Kwik trip, used the same exact card and it swiped no problem. Either incompetent staff or faulty equipment.
