I had a wonderful experience adopting a kitten from Chasing Daylight! I was allowed to look at all of the kittens. The shelter is clean and I was surprised to see none of them showed signs of upper respiratory issues. I adopted Stinker fka Carlos and he is a wonderful addition to our family. The adoption fee was very reasonable. Love this place!

I adopted the sweetest kitten from here a few months ago and I absolutely LOVE her. It took just a couple days for my other cat Cyra to get used to her being around but they are now best friends. We named her Cleo and I couldn’t imagine not having her in my life now!

Cleanliness. 5 starsAnimal health and appearance. 5 starsProfessional manor of staff 0 stars.Brought my son for his birthday to pick up a kitten that he found on pet finder. Got a tour of the facility. Was very impressed.Asked what the animal was tested for and was informed: not all animals are tested for FIV. We were fine with that and discussed paying for the test before adopting. However, one of the staff members interrupted our conversation to say how upset they were that we were not happy they hadn't tested for FIV. This was very unprofessional and felt like an attack on our concerns. Since we already have a cat at home, we were valid in having this concern. When I expressed my agnst to the other staff inside, I was laughed at.I will not be doing business with this shelter.

We are absolutely in love with this place. Amazing first experience! Special thanks to Hannah for walking us through the process. We are very pleased with the recommendation and information she provided to find the perfect match. Chasing Daylight is a wonderful, magical place, actually. Very well run, and very much worth the drive from La Crosse. The adoption process is thorough, which I personally prefer, no rushing. The love and care of their furry residents is very obvious. What an amazing experience so far! Got my new kitteh tucked in his carrier with me in the back seat. I can't wait to shower him with pets and playtime!

I don't like that they are still not opening shelter to public due to Covid. Even clinics now do not require even masks, but shelter can't be open? I believe they do take good care of their animals

Chasing daylight animal shelter is the best animal shelter I have ever been to. The workers there are super nice. The animals are taken care of like superstars. They have a lovely place. The animals are in a great habitat and are super friendly. The dogs get to run around in back. The cats get to have a great play area. If I could give them a metal I would. I recommend you to visit😍😇

Very clean friendly environment. The cat's & dogs have plenty of room in their kennels. While I'm working out apartment details to have a cat, the shelter holds the animal for you so no one can adopt them while I wait. But within a 2 week period.

The staff was super rude when we tried to bring an ill stray cat. They recommended I call local vets which I did and both of them referred me back to the shelter. The manager, Tiffany, even told me to tell my friends that they don’t take strays with a pretty rude tone.

Amazing staff who truly cares about the animals they house. If you're looking for a clean, well-kept shelter, this is the one. Applications taken for adoptions to ensure they are sending to a good home. The back yard has plenty of acreage to walk dogs, as well as multiple outdoor fenced in play areas. The cat rooms are spacious and fun.. Tomah is lucky to have them! They are always looking for volunteers who care.. if this is you stop in or give them a call!

A beautiful and homey shelter with professional staff. Our furry friends are well loved, cared for, and placed in good homes. We adopted our Haylie girl and we appreciated the quality care, collaboration with competent veterinarian services, sincere interest and follow-up. After my cat had to be put to sleep, I was heartbroken. I adopted a kitten from Chasing Daylight and they were so helpful and caring. This was a YEAR AGO and they STILL call/ email asking how the cat is doing. Amazing staff, amazing kitty.

Animals are lovingly cared for at this 5 star rescue location by volunteers with hearts of gold. The facility and grounds are exceptionally well maintained. Matching an animal with the best "fur"ever home is a top priority. CDAS relies on donations to operate. Please invest in this critically center dedicated to animals.

Great friendly and help pick the right two shelter kittens to bring home they are finely settled in and happy and adoptions process was easy for the office only being opened by appointment only right now and there shelter gave me ideas of how to make my fur babies more comfortable by seeing how there actual setup was

This is one of the cleanest animal rescue facilities that I have ever been in. Every animal was clean, well fed and very, very happy. If you are considering adoption, of a dog or cat, this is a super place to go.....will recommend often.

apparently our family isn't the first to be double crossed by this shelter. told us we were the first to apply for a puppy. Husband went to ask why we didn't get the puppy and they couldn't even find our application. this after we visited the puppy a few times. reinforces my opinion that most people are bad.DON'T GO HERE!

chasing daylight animal shelter was my first time going. my mom and I donated to the shelter, because they got new puppies and kittens. we brought food for them. we also got to see the puppies and kittens. by all going to chasing daylight animal shelter is not just about food its also about adoption.
