It was cool until today (02/14/2024). Me and the wife were about and were interested the firearms. The older lady that was working obviously didn't want to help us out. She simply ignored us and continued messing with the ammo. We didn't even get a greeting. She simply walked pass and never acknowledged us. I'm not please nor impressed. I'll travel to Sparta next time

We stopped in to buy a few bags of Milorganite fertilizer. It was marked clearly $12.99 per bag but rang up at $14.99 per bag. I showed the cashier the $12.99 sign but that didn't seem to make any difference. Obviously, we left without the fertilizer. We will take our business elsewhere!

This by far is the best Ace Hardware we have ever been in. We are in town from North Carolina visiting our son in Sparta until December and we were looking for a turkey fryer without a timer that shuts off the fryer every 15 minutes. We didn’t get the two employees names that assisted us that deserve recognition for excellent customer service. The one employee mentioned he is still cutting wood at 77 years old and the other employee is a nice lady that also lives in Sparta on a street that begins with a G. These two employee went above and beyond to help us during our purchase. During our conversation, the male employee walked with us up to the front register and a Manager came to approve a Price Match on a Bayou Classic 41,000 BTU Welded Steel Frame Outdoor Cooker. Thank you also, to the Manager for approving the Price Match. It was also nice to see how many hard working and friendly employees are at this location.

Jeremy was great to work with in picking out the right Big Green Egg for me. Is prices were the best around, free delivery and installation. Very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had excellent help looking for what I needed for building a deck & ramp. When you check out they are polite but if you want a bag for your stuff you probably are going to have to ask. This is second I have been in there recently & neither time was I asked if I needed a bag or just started bagging. This time didn't have as much stuff as last time when I could have used a bag. Did get asked if I had an Ace account though both times. There is a lot of stuff from plants to tools, grills, screws, solar lights, shepherds hooks,& etc

The employees here are wonderful, very helpful every time i walk in I'm pointed right where i need to go and they'll even help make sure I'm getting just what i need. The prices are good and i love that they have baskets in the store by some aisles for when your arms get full lol

Nice selection of grills! Wide selection of anything a hardware store would have.I've been to some other Ace stores where they're much friendlier than here. Seems like they just were doing their job & not trying to interact with customers unless the customer approached them. Definitely not "Your friendly Ace Hardware" just "Your average Hardware Store"

I was made to feel like I should let a man do the deck!!!!! Didn't get his name he pointed and said down there I told him iam not from there so he showed me (I had a list of things to get)then a guy walked up with a weed waker and asked him a question and he just left me!!! I give you a zero but there is none

Nice supply and selection, but the prices are outrageous, in most cases, if I need a lot of something, I'll drive to LaCrosse and pay for fuel out of principle.

Lots of stock. Store associate's are not helpful. I came to Ace looking for help with a shower head. The associate's didn't know how to help and weren't willing to. Other customers act like they're better than you if you look like you don't have money. I am unimpressed.

took a 60 lb propane tank to be filled. i was using the tank 10 min prior to taking it in to be topped off. you could see the frost line a third of the way up the tank. I told them the tank was not empty. they did not weigh the tank and charged me for the full 60 lbs. when I go to tractor supply it costs me way less . they actually charge by the gallon. do not go here for propane. they are illegally charging you for something they don't fully provide.

One of the larger Ace Hardware stores I've been too. Always nice. There's a gentleman that works by the back counter, who I'm sorry to say I can't remember his name, that has helped my wife and I on a couple occasions now when we were looking for specific parts we needed for some home projects. Even made some handy recommendations about better wall plugs.

All the ACE Hardware Stores in my home town closed down. Forgot something at another store and thought I'd stop in. The organization is great and it looks like they have everything! Going to have to stop in more often.

Clean, organized store with legitimately helpful staff. They have what I need most every time. The bolt and screw file is the largest in the tri county area. And the staff knows the difference between fine and coarse threads. Best shopping experience an old man like me could ask for.

ACE has a variety of good quality items. If I need something sturdy that will last a while, I come here. Good selection of hardware, tools, lawn and garden, plus miscellaneous. Clean, well lit and wide enough aisles!

Hit and miss here. Some staff are really friendly and others not so much. Used to buy a lot of firearms through them until one particular gentleman moved on to better things. Overall they have most of the stuff I need and then some. I do like being able to get live bait here as well as parts for my stihls...

Called ahead for a capacitor for an air conditioner. They had one left and put it aside so we could take the long drive over. Very nice store and helpful employees.
