I needed a new fishing hat and stopped here hoping to find one. As soon as I entered I was impressed with the cleanliness and orderly layout of the store. The aisles were so clearly marked I could walk to the hats straight away. I then walked around the store becoming more impressed as I went. The floors were clean and clear throughout the store. I met Shanda, who I believe is the manager and found her very personable and helpful. If ever I need anything while in Three Lakes again, the Dollar General will be my first stop.

Went to buy beer and other alcoholic beverages but again no one with a liquor license was working so couldn't buy what we went there for.. 3rd time this year. Also had to wait to check out as the only person working was sitting in the back of the store talking with friends. Horrible service. Very disappointed. This store use to be pretty decent. Recommend going anywhere else.

This Dollar General issues by far one of the nicest of their stores that I've been in! The manager was working the entire store by herself, I believe her name was Maria. She was so knowledgeable and friendly, even as busy as she was, checking patrons out, checking in vendors, plus dealing with a conference call, quite amazing. Very clean and well ran store.

You had a most organized $ General in Three Lakes, but within the last 2 to 3 months it has gone downhill. Your last team of people are all gone now. Stock of shelves is poor, no RX drug aisle stock, messy shelves. I am so disappointed because we don’t have a lot of General stores in this little town. Sad.

It's great to have a store like this in the north woods. The store could be a bit more organized and have more products for it's location. Other than that, it's a typical Dollar General, just a bit more compact.
