Greeted by a :) and seated us immediately took our order, and food came out hot. The food was ok. The place was clean but had no hand soap in the men's room. Told the waitress, and she took something back there. Went to wash, and the dispenser would not work. Told some guy, maybe the manager said he would take care of it and sat down on a stool. Disturbing. Would try again.

We came into Thorpedo on a Friday night, before opening day.All of us ordered the Walleye fish fry. I had soup as a starter which was super average and frankly, served quite sloppily 6/10. The fish fry was crispy, great size - fries weren’t terribly fresh 6/10Decent value, plates were average size 6/10 for valueService was good not great 7/10I give this place a 6.5/10 but since it’s out of 5, I have to go 3/5.

I had a breakfast skillet, which was good. The prices were decent. They were really busy and short-staffed so it took awhile to get our food (which is completely understandable and not their fault) just stating the facts, so people know if they want to go..

Classic American food is done right at this small-town family restaurant - it's a local staple. The servers and owner are friendly and attentive. Tasty breakfasts served all day, burgers, a good selection of homemade pies, and coffee. Their French fries are just the way I like them - hot and crispy! My personal favorite is the chopped steak with mashed potatoes & gravy 🤤 Other favorites are their walleye, and their steak quesadilla.Don't pass by Thorp without stopping at the iconic Thorpedo - it would be a tragedy!!

If you want great service, friendly staff, good food and a fair price, this is the place. If you want fancy, go to Minneapolis. We always try to time our trips so that we can eat here. Soups are home made, food comes out hot and fast, and the smiling staff know what they are doing. As for the pies; just make sure you have loose clothes. They are delicious!

3 out of 4 meals came together. Waitress was great and told us it was missed and will be out ASAP. The meal never came. Everyone else was done with their meals so we just canceled the missed meal. Food quality was ok but not great. Fish was ok, soup was good but the steak was like shoeleather. It was our first time there in years. Probably will stop somewhere else next time.

got terrible service and awful food. and another server there was quite obviously trying to irritate my boyfriend and i.this place has such high reviews, so the poor service we got and terrible food we received seem like it was purposefully done.

I would say it's okay would of been better rated ..but I I order a tuna melt with fries and side of soup ...The tuna was 5 star very good ....I never got my fries still waiting 20 minutes later for pie..... and to top it off they have no idea what the word garnishes means she thought it ment lemon...

This was my first time at the Thorpedo after driving by many times.The Restaurant and staff were very nice. Our table had the Mexican omelette, bacon cheeseburger, open face roast beef sandwich and I ordered the Thorpedo burger.It was ALL delicious.My ONLY gripe is when naming a sandwich/burger after your establishment (Thorpedo burger) it would be bigger. It was good but left me wanting more.All in all a very nice and clean establishmentIf this review help you out please give it a 👍 up!

I was traveling to Green Bay to watch the Vikings/Packers game. I ran into car trouble and all the auto shops were closed. Ali the owner left work and took me to the hardware store to get needed supplies. I was able to make it to the game. I stoped back to say thank you on my way home. My son and I had a great meal and it was all thanks to Ali! Thank you so much it’s nice to know the world has still had good people in it!

The only reason I took away stars for service and atmosphere is because everyone but 2 waitresses came across and super grumpy. It was busy, I get it, but I work where it's busy a lot of the time, but we don't show our frustration to the customers. This is our favorite place to stop after rock fest and the food is outstanding so we'll continue to visit every year! Never had a bad experience here so I'm sure it's a fluke and will be better next year!

I am torn between a 3.5 and a 3.0 review. Kind of like this place - old school, family friendly and like a supper club for lunch. That was the good part. The place was a mess (apparently they just had a rush, ok, NP). We ordered cheese curds as an appetizer and some sandwiches. One sandwich came out, then another 10 minutes later, then the other two 10 minutes after that. We asked about the curds and they said “oh yeah”, and they came out about 10 minutes later. Soup was also supposed to come with the meal (didn’t really want it but it was part of the meal) but never came. Asked about it and they said “oh yeah”, and delivered it after everyone was done. Almost an hour later we finished our lunch. Similar problems with silverware, waters, ketchup, mustard, napkins, etc. you get the idea. Nothing was bad once it came, but nothing was good. I really wanted to like this place, but I guess I would say skip it.
