This was an interesting stop, we bought a bunch of cheeses to take home, all of which we have enjoyed so far! Our food was good in the cafe, but nothing mind blowing. While I would definitely buy packaged cheese there again, I don't feel like I need to eat at the cafe again specifically. It was fun to watch the cows get milked and see the racks of cheese wheels.

Was recommended to me by a co-worker and although it is during the winter it still didn’t disappoint. I definitely look forward to the warmer months to be able to take a full tour. The whole setup was great for the kids as they loved being able to see the calfs up close and pet them… and of course you can’t forget the GOUDA! So delicious

Great place to stop with kids and not spend a bunch of money. They had a great time riding the go karts, free. Learning about the cheese making and seeing the cows first hand. Lots of sample enjoyed too.Parking: Easy in and outWheelchair accessibility: No issues

This place has everything you could want in a Wisconsin roadside attraction. The cheese variety was awesome! They have a cute little restaurant attached, which we didn’t get the chance to try. You can see the entire operation from meeting the baby calves all the way to them aging the Gouda. The whole thing is very self guided, so you can wander the property on your own. They also have a fun trampoline that made my 30 year old self enjoy this stop even more. A great place for anyone looking to make a road trip stop in the land of the cheeseheads!

Their shop has many different gouda varieties available, pesto is one of our favorites. As you shop, you can see the cheese process happening live. The cafe has a nice selection and has take out available. Outside the huge jumping pillow is fun for kids, as well as the peddle bikes and track. You can visit the milking parlor and see the cows being milked. Great place for a visit.Parking: Plenty of parking next to their facility.Kid-friendliness: The outside activities and milking parlor make it fun for kids.

This was such a fun experience! We had an early dinner: cheese curds, grilled Gouda, and curd burger. Everything was deliciousous! There were cheese samples available and then I went overboard and bought a ton of super unique flavored Gouda. We then enjoyed some ice cream for dessert before exploring the observation areas where we could see the cheese making process as well as the milking process. We finished up by seeing the calves and they were soooooo cute! I absolutely loved every minute of this and would highly recommend it to others.

Stopped for breakfast - excellent quality and quantity! Good pricing as well. The wait for food wasn't too long. The seating is on wood tables with log chairs. The gas fireplace was going while I was there. It was nice to sit by.The cheese selection is fantastic. Prices are decent as well. You can then go across the way to the milking barn and see the cows milked. Milking starts at 5am and lasts 5 hrs to get through all the cows.I would drive here to bring company for a neat experience.

We always stop here for a fun time with the kids when we are in Wisconsin. They have a big jump pad, beautiful grass to run around on, and toys for the kids to play with. They also have a super cute store and offer tours.

This used to be a regular stop for us for lunch. I would always order the same… Gouda grilled cheese on sourdough. My husband tried the thorp burger. We were VERY disappointed in the food and service. My grilled cheese had almost non existent cheese. They said it’s due to the bread being thicker. Thickness of the bread shouldn’t mean less cheese. It was barely enough to cover a thin layer on the bread. Usually the cheese is oozing out of it and it’s super thick and flavorful. My husband’s thorp burger was supposed to have fried onions and it came out with grilled and again, minimal cheese….at a place that makes cheese. When we mentioned this to the server, her response was she didn’t want to go back to the cook and complain because it’s hard to find cooks. No drink refills offered. Had to ask for our own silverware. If the food and service is this inconsistent, you won’t need cooks because customers won’t return. A fav place now on the do not return list.

Saw one billboard announcing the cheese store ahead of the highway exit. Ducked in to buy cheese. OMG.. GOUDA aged was like velvet , smooth, creamy depth of flavor. I will stop on my way home again and will buy more flavors! Bonus is the slices range in size to not all be so big ! I can buy 10 and not have to carry 10 lbs of cheese !

Great family-owned business. Good place to see how cows are milked and cheese is made. I brought home a tasty assortment of local wine, beer, and snacks. Don’t pass up the maple puff corn - an impulse buy I don’t regret! Their squeaky-fresh cheese curds are also good. They also offer Amish-made candies. They even have hand-scooped ice cream in their cafe, which unfortunately was closed when we visited. We’ll be sure to stop in again on future trips to the area. They also have a patio to spend some time on a nice day.

Couldn't ask for a better roadtrip stop with kids (or not). We stocked up on cheese (Samples! I highly recommend the onion garlic and curds), treats (detectable chocolates and Dutch foods), ice, WI beer, and souvenirs. All while the kids got a ton of energy out on the giant jumping pad, pedal karts, and video chatting family in front of the enormous cow. They also have a café that looked great. Oh, and the bathrooms were awesome! Will definitely make this a must stop whenever near.

I've driven past here a number of times, always saying I should stop in (I love gouda), but I never made it before they closed... until now! (Lol). A wonderful place (a bit stinky, but that's to be expected)! Very picturesque, beautiful landscape, selfie opportunities, and a giant bouncy thingy (that's the technical term) on the outside, and lots of good cheese, candy, wine, cookies, craft beer, knickknacks, shirts, and a whole lot more on the inside. Their cheese is wonderful, though I was a little disappointed to not find any smoked gouda, which is my favorite. We did get some onion & garlic and also some black mustard, and both are wonderful! Also picked up some candy, a couple Drink Wisconsinbly tshirts, and a couple bottles of mimosa wine. This place is awesome, and I highly recommend it!

Watching milking in progress, visiting adorable blanketed calves, and experiencing great customer service! Also, cheese curds processed yesterday that you can get battered in Spotted Cow beer hot and fresh from the deli! This was a great, unexpected find!

Fabulous place. We stopped on our trip from Upper Peninsula MI to Minneapolis. Food was very good. Picked up some cheese. Best part was the bouncy thing! Had several activities for those kiddos in need of a stretch break. We will be stopping here again.Update: we stop every time we drive home from the UP. The cheese is so delicious. We stock up on the Young Gouda!
