Highly recommend! Very much appreciate the Drs and the staff. It took this team, and many visits to the clinic, to bring our shelter kitten back to health. Our kitten had a horrible start to life. But her road to recovery began at the humane society, then with our adoption, we continued her recovery, bringing her to the Small Animal clinic. They promptly diagnosed further her medical needs, and began treating. It was ongoing for sometime, but we fully felt their support, care, attentiveness,and kindness. We now have a healthy 8 month old kitten,her growth and development is back on track !! We have much gratitude!!!

We moved to the area late summer 2023 from out of state and we needed somewhere we could trust to take our small farms worth of animals (3 dogs, a cat, 2 guinea pigs, three feral children - just kidding about the kids, we do use a pediatrician🤪). The location was good and close to home but the priority for us was that the service was dependable, the staff and vets were honest, and that the cost was fair. This clinic has met and exceeded all those requirements! We’ve had nothing but great experiences with everyone we’ve met. Every vet we’ve encountered has been thorough, kind, patient, and meticulous with their care and overview. I love that we can make appointments for same day or next day in semi-emergency situations. And the clinic is very clean and well designed. Highly recommend.

I brought my 17 year old cat in to check out a runny nose. Dr Mitchell did a thorough exam and spent plenty of time with her. She’s ok now, but will come in for a follow-up visit. I’ve been coming to this vet clinic for over 25 years. The care is top-notch and everyone is friendly and caring.

They always have taken amazing care of my dogs. My current dog gets anxious going to the vet, however, she loves the tech’s and Dr. Brody. They are extremely patient with her! We heart the Mequon-Thiensville Small Animal Clinic!

Very thorough wellness exam for our two labs. Over the last few years, we've seen Dr. Selin, Dr. Nick, and several techs; all are very friendly and love animals. When we've had a problem, they've managed to squeeze us in. Recommended.

Highly recommend!! Staff is extremely compassionate towards animals and very helpful information-wise. I have a cattle dog who has experienced anxiety at vet visits in the past, but once I switched to Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic, he is now excited to go to the vet!

I don't know if this is possible but I cannot come up with words to explain or describe this incredible clinic, staff and doctor(s) here, and yet I cannot say enough. I recently was recommended to go to Theinsville Mequon Small Animal Clinic, and I am VERY thankful that we did. They are professional, compassionate, insightful and so much more while providing above and beyond care in EVERY aspect of my visits and follow up phone calls that were more than I could possibly imagine. They are not only all the qualities I have just mentioned but the caring, and thoughtfulness and yes again, compassion is apparent in their excellent services that they provide your pet and your family. Our dog "Mama" and my family is forever grateful for this amazing Clinic. HUGE and HEARTFELT Thank you to Dr Somolinski you are a treasure and a saint. The staff (Stephanie, Melissa, Sierra, Amanda, Daytona, Diego ) .... yes all of these wonderful people played a role in assisting us... quite a list of people but all deserving to be mentioned as they too provided care and attention to our dog "Mama" and our family. I have no doubt this clinic will continue to provide our family and pets the same quality care that we have experienced so far. I can sincerely say I have a peace of mind knowing that our pets are in the best of care. Much appreciation and adoration for this clinic.

Dr. RAFFEL is once again right with my new adopted dog, ANGEL. Her foot is almost healed after wearing a soft big cone for almost three weeks. She has tons of experience with dogs!. My pets are patients of this clinic. We usually go for yearly visits. However, today one of my pets needed an urgent appointment as something got into my dog’s eye. And guess what!? They were not able to find a spot for him to check him out. So my point is if they can’t make a spot for him when I need them urgently why would I need them on not an urgent time?!So not the best clinic to be on a family vet contact.

My cat is a patient of Dr. Raffel.He recently had a dental procedure with extractions. A few days later I was concerned about a potential infection at an extraction site. (Not an uncommon occurrence with the particular tooth extracted. I work in the veterinary field) I expressed my concerns to Dr. Raffel, and was fit in for a recheck. My concerns were heard, taken seriously, and for that I am so appreciative. My cat is on an antibiotic and feeling so much better. We love all of the staff at Thiensville-Mequon. And we love Dr. Raffel!

Thiensville- Mequon Small Animal Clinic is a very nice place to go to. All the doctors really care about you and your pet. The techs are all so sweet and you can tell they really love their job. Customer service has been great also. I LOVED their covid curbside service, making it stress free and confident my pet is getting the best care. They will try all courses of treatments to make sure your pet is as healthy as they can be.

I scheduled an appointment for my dog at 2:30 pm today but was told when I arrived that it was actually at 2 o'clock. I arrived at 2:20 and was told that I would have to reschedule. I just needed the vet to take a look at his ear, probably a five minute thing but the receptionist was extremely rude and would not. She wouldn't even consider that it might have been their mistake.I wonder if they are any good treating customers that way and letting a dog leave while still suffering. Very disappointed and will look for someone else.Use at your own peril.

Dr. Arnold sincerely cares for your pet. He is passionate about his calling and very professional while maintaining an easygoing demeanor. My dog Lucy trusts and loves him. I think it all started when she was a puppy and he got down on the floor at her level to great her and preform the examination.

Dr Gretta IS AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VET! We feel so fortunate to have her for our fur Baby! She is thorough, takes the time to explain procedures in detail and answer questions. Not only that but she will go out if her way to make your furry family member feel comfortable! She truly is an absolutely wonderful person and knowledgeable vet. She is always keeping up on the latest research in treatments and preventions too. I don’t know what we would do if she ever left Theinsville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic. She’s such an amazing addition to this facility. Thank you Dr. Gretta for all that you do for our furry friends and family!

I'll echo what others have said about Dr. Raffel. One of the most condescending, unpleasant, and judgmental individuals I've encountered. Especially as a vet Dr! The front office staff, as well, do not want to be bothered by your questions. They act annoyed and do not they seem to care about animals or people.I knew this was a bad experience when it happened, but I didn't appreciate how awful it was until I went to another vet and Dr the next year (Park Pet, Dr. Poehlmann, and their entire staff were literally the exact opposite. I highly recommend them). I have hesitated posting this for sometime, but just felt it was necessary because I wouldn't want anyone trusting this vet to their loved ones.

Annual checkup experience with Dr. Raffel not the best. Impatient with our dog, instead of trying to comfort him in a new, unfamiliar environment, forced him into submission with a muzzle, just to get her work done. I had questions but she never took time with me, instead had to ask the vet tech, which took my questions, out of the exam room, to her, then returned with answers. My thought. If you don't like animals, why are you in this business? I will try a different doctor next time for sure, or if I get a referral elsewhere before next checkup.

Went in for our second round of small breed puppy shots two seperate shots.. long story short the vet gave us a 3-in-1 combination shot which is only meant for adult non-small breed puppy. We were not informed about this shot until after it was given and we did not consent to it. On our way home our puppies face started swelling to the point where he couldn’t breathe and where he started seizing. We immediately headed back to the vet and they put him on oxygen, as we were waiting I did a simple google search about the shot they had non-consensually given our puppy, the info I found from the national veterinarian board said this shot should NEVER be given to any small breed dog or puppy, and if it is the incident should be reported. I would never trust this establishment as it is obvious they are in the service of making money and not informing clients so they can charge more for they care they never needed in the first place. BEWARE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A PUPPY OR SMALL BREED DOG

All I can say is I no longer have my best friend and I would never recommend this clinic. They we're the direct cause of my best friend fuzzies death, the visit was for eye discharge and she left blind and in need of emergency care
