Great with cutting. Won't be going back as I had to respond to an emergency and they refuse to remove the "fee" they added to my account. It's one thing if someone misses appointments. However a single miss and due to an emergency is definitely not called for. I'm a local business owner and charge fees as well. Not off a single time etc or due to emergency. There needs to be understanding not just money hungry. Other than that no complaints.

Had my dog Jake in recently at smooch and poooch they did an amazing job. Definitely recommend bringing your dog there, also they answer all my questions and made me feel very comfortable that my dog Jake was going have an amazing experience. Here are some before and after pictures.

The best dog grooming hands down. They are so efficient and extremely nice to all animals. You can tell that they love what they do. Thank you all!!! We needed a life jacket, and they went into the inventory and got us the perfect one. Everyone loves seeing her in her little onsie. Her nails are always cut perfetly and ground down so it doesn't hurt her or us. Thank you, everyone who works a Smooch a Pooch. Thank you, Miranda.

These guys were amazing. We adopted two Newfoundland mixes recently and they weren't groomed well at the rescue. Both had matting that needed professional help. Every other groomer I called turned us down the second they heard Newfoundland even though my boys are under 100lbs each.They got us in within 2 weeks, did amazing jobs with my beautiful boys despite some guardedness from one, and worked well with them both being anxious leaving us. The option to bring the other dog for daycare if only one has a grooming appointment helped so much with managing their anxiety since we couldn't get same day appointments with such short notice. My boys look amazing and I can't properly express my thanks enough.

I always bring my pups here for nail trims. Staff do good job interacting with my dogs; one of my dogs is very vocal and not afraid to speak his mind when his nails are being trimmed. Sometimes he tries to buck around to try and escape. The staff aren't afraid to ask other staff for help to keep my boy safe while his nails are being snipped. Sometimes ya need to get a bit firm to get the job done!

I’ve been taking Sophie here since she was a puppy and she’s 8 now. She absolutely adores Miranda and Brooke, and all of the staff and I love how they do her hair! They do such a great job with her! She looks so cute every single time 🤩🤩

I took my little dog there as a walk-in. They were very busy, had lots of dogs in the back, and it was completely chaotic, BUT! It was controlled chaos and very cute.One dog kept bouncing so he could see over the counter and get a look at incoming customers. He was so cute!They took good care of my girl, and we also snagged a couple of dog cookies while we were there!They've got a great selection of toys, coats, booties and snacks, even a dog cake you can bake for your pups birthday!We will definitely be making this our regular grooming salon from now on. 💜

I went in to ask questions about grooming services. The staff were wonderful, and helpful. I am amazed they even do pet hair dye! I ended up buying a few items in their store. The service was great. I have not yet used their grooming services. But even when making a comment about my dogs long quicks, the staff let me know they do nail buffing for $5 if you come in every week! Great atmosphere, very helpful. I am in Duluth, but excited to go back.

They're always great every time I go in. My dogs are not the best with other dogs and they always make sure still give them attention and when no one else could quit my big boy's nails not only did they get the job done but they did it quickly and efficiently as well

Fabulous, super friendly staff. I can honestly say I've only met them a few times but my son and his family bring their basset hounds and they are so friendly and they treat them just like family.How I know them is from Billings Park days and they always do such a fabulous job on their dogs with the coloring and how they do the kissing booths and they donate all the fun things. They always have something neat to give away or get the community involved. This year it was tug toys that you can make.❤️🐾🐶 Five stars in my opinion isn't enough.

Our puppy had such a great first grooming experience here! The staff were warm and professional and we felt extremely comfortable leaving our dog with them for the day. Noelle also did a wonderful job on his haircut! We will definitely be back for all of our pet grooming needs.

I went in to get my nails trimmed with a dog that I knew was overdramatic. He's never actually bit someone but I know it can be scary but the amount of sounds he makes. However I didn't expect when I said it was okay for them to use a muzzle to feel better about trimming his nails for them to proceed to choking him out. The owner herself restrained my dog wrapping her arms around the neck and a move that looks like a full Nelson and squeezing until his tongue started to turn colors and then commented at me that the muscles seems to be working to calm him down. I was so shocked I just sat there and agreed. I don't think I could have got my dog out of there any faster than I did when they finally gave him back. He sat choking in my car for about 20 minutes until he recovered all the way. We are blessed and fortunate that he's still in our lives. Never have I Lost faith in a business as fast as I have lost my faith in Miranda's

Awesome people. Awesome services! I've been bring my dogs here since 2017 when I moved to the area. I did my shopping and it was clear this was THE PLACE to go. My dogs always come out looking fantastic and I rest assured knowing that they are well cared for. Health concerns and updates from staff clearly paints a picture of what goes on behind the counter. These people care about your best friend. They care about service. They just care.If in doubt...you'll feel more comfortable by the time you are done checking your dog in. The exhaustive care that starts at first contact will reassure the most skeptical of customers.Can't get in? Because they are that busy?!?! You can drop your dog off to be brushed out any day! What a bonus during shedding seasons!

They did a wonderful job on my 70 lb. Shepard mix! He smells fresh, looks like a new dog and they were super patient with how vocal he is. They quoted 4 hours and were right on time, but also offer a doggy day care until closing time if we needed to use it. Very happy customer and pet!

When my pup goes to doggy daycare, I know I’ll be picking up a happy and exhausted doggo at the end of the day! The staff were all so friendly and made me feel good about leaving my dog child with strangers. The rates are fair and I absolutely love the longer hours, being a healthcare provider who works evenings. Definitely will be coming back for more puppy playtime!!

The owner and workers are friendly and great with the dogs! Reasonable prices. My dog loves to go there, when we say “ your going to Smooch A Pooch she starts jumping up on us, she gets so excited! I tried to add a photo but they are all blurry from her moving! Great place!

All of the people at smooch a pooch are awesome! It takes 3 of them to clip my 100 lb fat boy's nails and they insist that it's no big deal and he's not the biggest diva they tend to, and i love that!! Great work and wonderful people.

I love this Salon for my Bonus!!!!! He has such a good time there. They treat him like a little king. The owners and workers are so kind and very accommodating. I remember a time last Fall when my dog was sprayed by a skunk and they took me the very next day. I have my appointments scheduled way in to the next year as the are at least 2-3 months booked. The salon is always kept clean and smells good too. The even have a little bakery treat area for pets. They have clothing, shampoos, lotions, toothpaste etc for all size of dogs. They even take cats! I will never go anywhere else. They also give some good advise. Try it and you won't regret it, if you can get an appointment :)

From a former employee:I worked here for less than a year; which is unlike me. When I apply for a job anywhere I have every intention of staying there for as long as possible unless I have a good reason for leaving. When I got my job here I thought I got my dream job. I absolutely LOVE animals and working with them has always been a dream of mine. When I met my co-workers I was even more excited because all of them were so nice and shared my love of animals! I could not for the life of me understand why there was such a quick turn over rate with the employees; and unfortunately I found out the reason very quickly. As much as the business is a terrific idea, the management needs a lot of improvement. The staff is constantly being put down and yelled at for minor things. The atmosphere is very negative and unhealthy for everyone, and everyone I worked with felt attacked at one point or another by the management. Many times while at work I would overhear the owners, Miranda and Brooke, talking badly about staff members while they were in the other room working, not caring who heard them. Their rules were also very inconsistent. When I first started I just got thrown into work without actually getting taught anything properly. When I did not know something that I was not taught, I would get in trouble. One perfect example was that I was never told that dogs were not allowed in the break room. My dog was in the break room when Miranda came in one day and instead of picking him up and setting him out, or guiding him out, she kicked him out. Literally kicked him out with her foot and made him yelp. I kept my mouth shut because I needed to keep my job but I really wanted to walk out that day. Don't get me wrong. Miranda is great with customer dogs and giving haircuts, but when it came to her employee's dogs she did not care. On top of this, Miranda and Brooke consistently talked to me about not liking the fact that I had many daycare dogs that enjoyed being around me and would follow me; they requested that I shoo them away from me or lock them out of the room that I was in. When brought up to the owners of these dogs that they loved me, the owners loved it. So it was only Miranda and Brooke that had a problem with it. One other thing I would like to mention is that they do not care whatsoever about their employee's health. There was one shift where we had an agitated dog and I got bit pretty bad by a dog and almost fainted. Miranda bandaged me up and put me right back to work. Later on, my friend who is a nurse practitioner told me I should have left work and gotten stitches. Another shift I was helping Miranda hold a dog while she trimmed it and she accidentally cut me. After telling her that she cut me, instead of getting me a bandage, she told me not to bleed on her dog. We also had a coworker that broke her clavicle while attempting to walk a dog that took off running and ran her into a car. Instead of giving her the time off that she needed to heal, Miranda and Brooke made her come back to work and continue walking dogs while in her condition because they did not want to have to pay her workman's comp. There is so much more I could say, but that would be too long. In short, this is the worst business I have ever worked for. I have never seen so many people quit simply because of the owners. Never seen so many staff cry or feel so degraded. This business can be an amazing business and has so much potential, Miranda and Brooke just need to realize what it is that needs to be changed and work on it.And just FYI, they like to delete bad reviews. So watch out.

They are always amazing to me and my dog, and he can be the most obnoxious bonehead there is. My guy absolutely loves daycare, and can't wait to go on Fridays. He always comes back happy, and silly. They have groomed him many times, and always exceeds expectations. Sometimes I wonder if he likes them more than me 🙄.

We will not take our dogs anywhere else for grooming!! Miranda's is THE BEST!!! paws down!! Great prices, amazing service and our fur babies always look amazing when she is done with them. We get all of their leashes, tags, collars, shampoo and other necessities from Miranda's as well. She's the BEST!!
