Was able to get Wild bird seed for the wild birds so they were happy. Also was able to pick up hooves stuffed and no stuffed with something other than peanut butter it was cheese and bacon I think. Made the dog happy and kept the epi pens put away.

Bought 200# of scratch feed last spring. The first bag was fine nice course ground corn, oats barley. The second bag was sweeping... ground hay and fine ground junk feed. Price was $40/100# so about 25% higher then average...then you get poor quality product....won't make that mistake again.

I LOVE Dan's. They sell the best dog foods, stuff you can't even get at the grocery store or department stores. Plus you're supporting a small local business and not the big corporate guys. That staff are all VERY friendly and knowledgeable. They also always carry my dog food to the car for me even though they don't have to. Very nice experience every time.

They were the only local seller to have the specific soil I needed and their prices were more reasonable than online options. I also prefer giving my business to a local store vs online or big box store.

These guys actually kinda suck. They don't have a very good selection of products, they're not particularly informed about their products, and they're usually pretty rude. Recently, they sold pet mice to my niece with the promise that they would buy back any babies, but have been "too full" to honor that promise for the last 3 months. So...definitely do not recommend. As much as I prefer local businesses over chains, I will deal with Petco over these guys any day.

You don't have to be a farmer to enjoy this place. I get only bird seed, sunflower seed and corn there but its fun to look around. Pets, to include parakeets, pet supplies, everything urban chicken people need and a whole lot more. Friendly. Courteous. Helpful

I’ve been going with my Forster family since I was 11 years old. Went every Saturday to get gallons of corn for the deer, beers and chickens. Now 25 And I’ve been going since to get my dog food. Little more expensive than Walmart but there dog toys last longer and there dog food actually builds muscle on my dog believe it or not. I also love going to see what kind of different creatures they have there. Dans feed is entertaining even for the young.

I love this place cause there little cincillas are so fluffy and adorable! but the smell in the is bad😑 but besides that I love looking at all of the cute animals. me and my family usually go there to get cat litter, or sometimes we get a bone for my dog Daizy.

Sells all the foods and treats we need for our animals which include: bearded dragon, rats, dog, mouse, and chickens. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly, they love seeing my dog come in - as long as they are well behaved!

Was very happy with the amount of treats for dogs. It can be hard to find good healthy treats but at Dan's Feed Bin the variety of quality healthy treats was surprising to me. Very pleased and will be back for many future purchases.

Great selection. Cost of hay is a bit steep, but delivery is reasonable. Convenient horse trailer rental. Great place to order chicks in the Spring.

This is why i live in this place. It reminds me of when I was a kid going to the feed store in Brainerd. I agree with the previous review....I don't know how a place like this still exists. Great prices on their products, fast service and it is a one of a kind place to go.

None Of Your Business!

We've been going here for at least 5 years now and we just love this place. All sorts of supplies for pets. They have birds and rabbits, sometimes other stuff. They usually have canaries, parakeets, finches and sometimes they'll have things like doves, conures, lovebirds, macaws and etc. They used to have cats for adoption but they quit having cats for some reason. They got a big fish tank with goldfish for very cheap. Every spring they have peepers, chicks, ducklings, guineas, turkeys, etc. They don't have as much of a selection as other places for peepers so we haven't bought any there yet. But it is a place that'll provide that kind of stuff. I wonder why google doesn't have this listed as a pet store? Cause this is a place that sells a few. I don't like their layer mash though for chickens, even though it's cheap it's basically just a bunch of powder, and how are my chickens supposed to eat that?

Dan's has everything I need to take good care of my animals, and they are always helpful and can answer any questions you may have about the use of their products. They carry certain brands of feed that stores like Petco do not. Support your locally owned businesses! Shop at Dan's verses the big chain stores.

Not to many traditional Feed Stores left now days, and this one is located in the town of Superior WI. Bulk and bagged feed to include a wide range of farm animals. Also a good selection of pet foods and over the counter medicine for many animal types.
