No staff at the registers on a Saturday at 6 pm. ZERO open registers just self check with no staff. Everyone stuck when they had too many items so the system locks you out. After waiting 5+ minutes someone finally showed up and helped us all. I was pretty close to abandoning everything at the register. Next time I’ll just go to woodmans. This metro market location is just run horribly. Inventory is awful. Staffing is awful. So sad to see a store failing like this

No lanes open on a Saturday night @ 6:45pm. Had to use the self check out, but the machine was upset that I had 27 items. There’s also limited space to bag.Then the cashiers ignored us for a good four minutes, even though we waved them over first, they helped 3 other people first.

Since Kroger bought Pick & Save/Metro Market they must have fired the web developers from the previous organizations. Why do I think this. The email sent for their weekly ad is more to the effect that we are still in business but we no longer have sales (loss leads). These were effective for getting customers in the door. Yes the store is clean. Yes the store is over priced.

My review of the store in general wouldnt be this low, so bakery.. this is for you... Can you STOP rolling the opening to the bread under the label. This is so annoying and I can never open it in a way that allows me to close it. This happens everytime. I get 🍞.

DO NOT BUY GROCERIES HERE! Definitely do no do online pick up! For the second time I received a call (just prior to my pick up time) stating they could not fill my groceries. The man that called gives continous excuses. Even when I said it would be ok if the pick up was an hour later to give them more time. He proceeded to tell me he didn't know if or when he would get to my order on that day. When I called to speak to a manager there wasn't one available because they were all in a meeting. When I called again none were available to come to the phone. When I called the third time no one even picked up the phone at all.

I am a fairly regular customer at this store. Yesterday around 6:45pm I tried to find a checkout lane for my full cart of groceries. There were none open. Only the 6 self checks were open and the line was long with one employee running herself ragged trying to help customers at the full and crowded self checks. It took me 45 minutes to get through these self checks and I didn’t have room to set my scanned groceries. My Roundy’s milk didn’t have a bar code or a look up code so I left it there. A few customers abandoned their carts and ran out of patience. By the time I got my groceries checked my frozen food was melting. I did not see a manager or another employee the whole time I waited. A repeated announcement for a call waiting for customer service went unanswered. I expect someone called in sick or didn’t show up to work but this situation if it persists will make shoppers go elsewhere for their groceries. It wasn’t late—-it was 6:45-7:30 that I waited.

Update: 6 years later still a trash store. Still nothing in stock if it is on sale, aisles still crammed with pallets. Kroger cannot figure out supply chains, no idea how to keep the shelves full, nothing is their fault!Expect sale items not to be in stock. Expect the lines to be long. Expect the prices to be high. Expect them to be stocking shelves at the busiest and most inconvenient times. But the donuts are great!

When this store was Pick n’ Save I never had any problems here. I know they’re still owned by Kroger, but ever since Metromarket took over this store has been awful. Rotten produce on the shelves, no deli hot services, barely any meat options, the bakery is always closed, not to mention no checkout lanes and usually 2 broken self-check outs. This store either has such awful management that they can’t keep employees to keep their stuff fresh and maintained, or they’re sourcing their groceries from somewhere else that’s awful.

Customers here are the worst. Some staff, mostly the people that work behind the counters, are also really rude. Some of the staff are nice, especially the one lady who is always there bagging in the only checkout line that is open. Prices seem to have gone up. I really do not like this place.

Poor store management and Unsafe food handlingMore times than not they are understaffed at check out. Store managers are only able to maintain 1 or 2 good staff members. Every week I come in it's always new faces.Last time I was in, 5-22-23 1:15pm, I observed the meat counter employee cross contaminate a fish fillet I purchased. He was loading a pan of raw chicken and came over to grab and weigh my salmon fillet without changing gloves or washing his hands. This goes against ServSafe best practices for handling raw uncooked foods. Seeing this at the front of the house only makes me even more concerned about what happens in the back where I can't see.The store more than not does a poor job stocking produce and staple items. The pricing is also not well aligned on many of the products.I will be avoiding this store as much as possible in the future.

I specifically shopped here before the Super Bowl because of sale prices on several items including cheese and seafood. As always, the self checkout was 20 + deep so I used a lane with a cashier. After the long wait I was anxious to get out of there. Cashier did not ask for my shoppers card but I didn't realize until I was home. Brought receipt back today and was told there was nothing they could do even though it's their policy to have cashiers ask. I estimate my receipt would have been about $8 dollars less which is significant with rising food prices. No apology, no empathy, just no. Poor customer sevice-long lines.

I was just at Metro market in Sun Prairie. A staff came up to the lady probably in charge at the self checkout lanes and said a customer needed assistance at the customer service desk. She said, It is closed right now, he will have to wait”. Wow this was 11:15 on a Friday morning. What the heck? How about customer service at a customer service desk? How about if he wanted to buy a $1000 gift card?

It's been a couple years since we visited here (back then, it used to be called Copps and then 'Pick n Save :( but we came again recently. It didn't seem like business was going well, but even though prices for some things were higher than average, we still found really good deals on other items compared to Woodmans, Costco, etc. In general, Metro Market should try improving the checkout process and customer service, though. Shopping in the evenings is stress-free, but self-checkout is a bit of a pain. We'll be coming back here!

My go to store! Most of the time customer service is very good. Usually stocked well unless it is after a busy weekend. They have had issues in the past with credit card service not working and at times not enough lanes open at check out. The Pharmacy is AMAZING and Kim, Jeff and Lisa do an excellent job at being very personable and recommending products. Always ready to help you in any way. I just think they are OVERWORKED! Best Pharmacy I have ever dealt with!

The store was nice n clean. But I bought their 2 for 10.00 meat deals I got fried chicken and that was fine. But then came the meat loaf I couldn't tell you what it was made of because it was so full of grissall and body chunks of I don't know what I couldn't eat it or my son and his girlfriend. So I seriously gave it to my dogs never again don't buy gross

I have been shopping here since it opened. If you shop the sales the prices are pretty good. The store isn't overly huge and you can make a quick trip through for some basics without wasting a bunch of time. In general the store is clean and we'll stocked check outs can be busy, but that's to be expected if you go during peak times. My only real gripe is a lot of their beer selection is not cold. I prefer to hit up Woodman's or Cannery for beer runs.

I bought a table top Christmas tree for $25. This tree shaped with a chainsaw is maybe 2-3 feet tall. I get home on Friday to leave for relaxing weekend vacation. Watered it, get home on Sunday morning & my countertop is completely filled with water. Called them to explain what happened, Got blamed for breaking it on my way home. I live a half a mile from this store. I’m sorry I don’t keep receipts for Christmas trees, this manager told me that he checks the Christmas tree stands every morning and every night and It had to be me.Wasn’t asking anything ridiculous just an easy exchange but this place has no Christmas spirit & it’s sad to see. Anything Christmas is garbage I guess. If you won’t honor it. Not saying don’t shop at pick n save or metro market. But stay away from this management staff.

Buyer beware....do not order groceries for delivery! We ordered groceries for delivery yesterday and never received them. Throughout the day we received text messages outlining that our order was delayed. The estimated time for delivery was 4 hours late, but unfortunately, we never received the groceries. We called the third party who does the shopping and delivery that evening and were on hold for 4.5 hours before the line was dropped. We called the next morning and were on hold for 2+ hours and we still have not spoken with a representative. We also called Pick 'n Save customer service. It was at this point we were instructed to put through another order for pick up; however, the next available pick up was 5 days from now. Pick 'n Save was unwilling to work with us to expedite the order. I do understand that the issue was with the third party; however, despite disputing the charge with the credit card company, Pick 'n Save was unwilling to full fill our order for pick up early. The customer service from the store, as well as her supervisor were unwilling to remedy the situation and at this point, we do not have our grocery order. This is unfortunate as I generally like Pick 'n Save, but the lack of customer service is very disappointing and I will be limiting my shopping here whenever possible.

One check out line at 5:00 pm on a Friday.... I understand theres an employee shortage?? The CSM on duty was too busy prancing around doing a lot of nothing. I called while in line and it rang for 21 minutes :) I watched the CSM look at phone but never picked it up. Love the store, hate self check-out, hate the fact they have 6-7 check outs and only have one open most times. Blah blah blah

Very clean store easy to find what you're looking for. As always it definitely pays to use their card and make your list on their app before going shopping. I always save between 40-50% off of my bill just by using the app and online coupons.
