I had the worst experience buying a fridge from here. After giving them details about the delivery location and the old fridge they were picking up they said everything was all good. The delivery driver shows up and says he can’t get the new fridge inside because the door to my condos building is too small. It is literally a normal sized door. He said he would have to take the doors off the fridge to fit it in and only a professional could do that like Home Depot’s delivery team. If Menards delivery person thinks he is not a professional then it’s sure hard to take them serious as a business. Especially when I called and told them about what the delivery driver said and they responded with we will still deliver if you find someone who can get it in and the old one out. I’m sorry, what am I even paying you for then? I will never buy an appliance from them again.

First time at this location. Store is a very good size and everything is accessible. Seems to be one of the updated stores. They still could use a few more checkout lines open when there’s four or more people waiting in line. Overall, it’s like any other Menards.

Pick up the phone for order pick up! Not only did it take repeated calls, then the receiver was set on the counter for ANOTHER 10 minutes??Don't have a number to call if you're not going to answer the phone!!!

Love their return policy. I had trouble finding a space heater that was right for my living situation. I didn't get her name, but the blonde girl who was stocking heaters was a huge help. I ended up getting the one she said she has, but had to return it and get the second one she recommended. Huge thank you goes out to her. 😁

For years we shopped at Home Depot, spent thousands of dollars each year and never got anything back for our loyalty. Menards does not carry the brand of power tools I prefer so still go someplace else for those items. Everything else plus more and more household items each time we shop, we now buy at Menards. Why? Love their 11% REBATE program. The prices seem the same or close between Menards, Home Depot and Lowe's and definitely less expensive than ACE (but has a convenience factor of smaller stores). What we were spending at Target, we now spend at Menards. Some of what we bought at Jewel, we now buy at Menards. And the little postcards keep coming every week. Yesterday we redeemed $104.90 of rebates on a $155.77 total bill; we paid $50.87. I think their 11% rebate on everything is genius; it finally got our business. And we do like their selection and I can actually find what we are looking for. The employees are helpful.

After waiting my turn to checkout, my cashier, without even saying hello, excuse me, nor or anything goes up to the front desk area. She came back with a supposed employee bingo sheet. She took a few minutes to fill it out while still not even saying a word, nor acknowledging me. She finally checked me out. She said its a company promotion to be entered into a drawing and that thisbwas her 3rd one filled out today! Really? Is there common courtesy and customer service anymore?

There are so many employee's, yet every time I'm in the store, i notice they could use a few more cashiers. I feel bad for the 2-3 overwhelmed cashiers while everyone else is sorta chillin.Other than that, terrific!!!!!!!!

More of a review of the online experience. Placed an order for lumber and other decking material. All items stated available for immediate delivery (next day) except for deck screws. I paid the extra money for the deck screws to arrive on time. 2 days later found out the lumber is backordered and is estimated to arrive in 3 weeks. If I had known that I would have shopped around.

The store is always clean and well stocked. I especially like their bag sale. Anything that you can fit into a grocery sized brown bag is 15% off. I use this to stock up on a lot of household cleaning items.

Do you need literally anything for your home? Well Menards is the place you should visit! They have incredibly helpful staff that can help you with all your projects! I've come in with my unique projects and they have helped out with all of them! I would say if you could go to the orange store, the blue store or Menards, your money is spent best at Menards! They also have a lot of each item so no matter what I'm up to, they have enough inventory to stock my project.

Minus 1 Star for online ordering fees and 1 more for what a joke it is to pick up your orders which they put in the far back recesses of their stores.Menards still charges a fee to have someone pick your online order. Fortunately it's now down to like 5.00. But still... Are you serious?Next they put your online pick up in the very far back corner of the store. Again who thought of that? So any time I need to go to Menards online it's to look at stock quantity. Ironically I then go to Home Depot online and order there for free delivery or EASY PICK UP in the front of the store or typically fast curbside pickupMenards is a truly awesome Store. I just wish they would find a solution for those customers like me that shops online... Not in the store much.I hope someone from Menards reads this. I know I am not alone with this wishAll of my Harbor Freight Friends feel the same way.Harbor Freight, Menards and HD. Everything you could ever need to fix or build or maintain in your home or yard or more is at one of these 3 places and one last time... Menards misses the mark and soooooo much business because they don't have 2023 processes in place for taking advantage of online shoppers like me.

Free after rebate? Yes please!Very helpful employees.Took one star off because the toilet displays are up high and you can't reach them. How am I supposed to decide when they are up so high? Can't even see them in entirety. And I want to compare the color of them to my paint sample, which is a warm toned white.

Menards has the products I use at competitive prices, however; they have a long way to go in the customer interaction space as they don't have an app with product locations or store maps, and the rebate gimmick is a manual process rather than online submission, even though the receipt is online.With stores the size of small farms the store app with location information is a must. I first use stores with these apps such as Farm and Fleet or Walmart and if the items are in stock I shop there first. Menards is my last choice based on that reason. I don't need to waste my time searching at Menards rather than completing my projects.

Great prices but some of your employees need to be educated about certain items because you can not use any kind of antifreeze in a vehicle im sure alot of people doesn't know but it can mess your vehicle up

I just moved to Wisconsin from California and everyone was so nice and helpful. I went for a Microwave that I saw in Their Ad today. It was Already gone and they told me that they only received one. Why would they advertise it, if they only had one? I guess it was a catch, because they had plenty for $10 more, other than that..I went for a $60 Microwave and walked out with over $500 of merchandise. Everyone was extremely helpful..

The Madison East location was much better. I'm not a fan of the new set up. Also I went in to buy a few things today. Not knowing where things are anymore I asked the employees. They kept sending me all over the store and really didn't have a clue where things were. It took several people to tell me where a specific lighter was, several more people to direct me to someone cord coverings, one employee just gave up and didn't know where some anchors were.Edit-I went to go buy $2k worth of items on my Menards big card online and they charge a $12 fee for picking up in store. Notice how most other stores don't do that. In fact I've never seen any other store do that.Second Edit-Bought something on their website for a few hundred dollars. Turned out I didn't need it and went to return it unopened. There's a 25% restocking fee because they don't normally stock it. There goes $100 out the window. Home depot does not do that fyiThird edit- the last few times I've been in, the automated floor cleaner almost hit me. One time it came up behind me and beeped for several minutes (while touching my cart) because it couldn't get around me in the isle. So instead it beeped at me constantly annoying me. Menards needs to rethink that stupid thing.

Menards really is the place to go! What they don’t have they will find another Menards that does. What doesn’t Menards have? Try naming one. The 11% off is the great, but products are the real deal.

I come to this Menards on a weekly basis. If they don't have exactly what I am looking for the employees always do their best to help brainstorm a way to get what I need or a work around in my project. They have a nice variety. I would like to see a larger variety of brands. I've had some manufacturer malfunction issues and when I go to replace the item, Menards only carries that brand.

The place is new and the personnel is not very knowledgeable yet. I m sure this will change. Like other similar places, it tends to be VERY crowded on weekends which makes for an unpleasant experience. Overall a typical menards.
