Goodwill has always been one of my favorite stores to browse through and shop in . My family and I would sift through the little treasures they had while we struggled with the holidays and while we couldn't afford expensive items .Goodwill provides FREE job search opportunities , help to those with disabilities and DISADVANTAGES, and boasts so loudly about wanting to help people in Wisconsin get a job, keep a job , and help with stable housing. But pay below living wage , jack up their prices so high on literal JUNK and treat their employees like robots . I cant count on my fingers how many times I've seen an employee crying or upset there.Growing up the ladder here is Nearly impossible .Goodwills main goal is simple — to continue to meet the needs of the communities we serve through the Power of Work . But they've shown me the opposite.I was hired onto working at goodwill , I am far more qualified for much better paying positions and jobs , but found this to be a relaxing part time job while I go to nursing school . My husband lost an employee so I also worked a bit for him while we looked for new employees. I explained this to my manager , so sometimes I'd come in late from a lunch a few minutes late while finishing homework or just Simply forgetting to clock in right away. I was very new to the job and even the area so once or twice I was late coming in from the drive through which I apologized for. I even asked to stay later to make up for the couple of minutes . Sometimes I'd sacrifice my breaks just so things would run smoothly for everyone. My coworkers were Always very nice and understanding , a couple of my coworkers didn't even have assigned lunch breaks so I never thought I'd have to walk on glass.I also had injured my back and couldn't come in a couple of days . You have to accrue over 9 points before being fired and I didn't accrue those total points .Management madeMe work half of my shift and prep and clean stations before deciding to fire me. I'm going to be honest with you , the greed , the games , the dramaAt this Goodwill is so unbelievable . It truly made me look at goodwill differently as I used to donate regularly.I am a hard worker , a kind hearted person and far more qualified for other jobs but I put my all into this one ,to be treated so terribly. I hope whoever is reading this , really makes the right decision , and doesn't support such a greedy location .You can take what you wantFrom this. - this is my truth. Thank you.

The store was as clean as it could be for a second hand store. Unsupervised kids causing havoc by the toys. The adult person was a few feet away. She never said a word to the brats taking toys off the shelf and putting them on the floor throwing thing around. I went and picked up the toys so you could walk down the isle.

It's not even worth stopping by, don't waste your time.You have to dig through piles of literal junk to find anything even remotely worth buying. If you're lucky enough to actually find something, it's priced like a brand new, unopened item and sometimes, even more than buying new.

I shop LOT of Goodwill stores throughout WI. This one is the worst!! They break up nice sets of dishes into sets of 4 or 2 pieces. They do not have a ½ price sale on certain items everyday like all other GW stores. Just on Sunday and Monday. Rude staff & no rewards card!! First & last time I'll go.

Listen to the reviews! Theres a little more selection but everything is priced as if you are buying brand new from walmart & theyre not receiving things for free. Color deals arent even frequently accessible so the items can actually be worth the prices. They only have color deals mondays and sundays. They also dont do reward points. Ontop of that not very organized. Not worth the 30 minute trip to sun prairie if you are a serious thrifter.

Small area for handicap ♿ parking. Clean store. You can easily see the difference area for clothes for each gender. A little smaller than than some Goodwill however nice items to choose from. Fast check out. Must wear mask in store.

While hanging items were well organized, the racks were tight. Difficult to browse. Items on shelves were jam packed, layered on top of each other. A mess. Not enjoyable to browse. You'd think with this much excess inventory, the prices would be good/low. They weren't. Many items sold at Dollar Tree NEW were marked $1.99 USED at this Goodwill. Disappointing experience.

While shopping here there is some good finds- don't bother applying for a job here. They will lie get your hopes up make you a promise that you Can start. So you tell other places that you found something- only to be told " we went with someone else " all the while knowing that bills are a thing.....here's a idea next time tell us the truth instead of wasting our time..

No complaints besides for the customers… stop donating stained, ripped, and flat out trash for donations. We’re not a trash bin and those clothes shouldn’t/can’t be put on the floor (some however do on accident). Also if your gonna use the changing rooms put your clothes on the rack outside of the changing rooms instead of leaving it a mess… yes its “our job” to keep the store clean but y’all are grown adults doing this! And lastly, if you drop clothes put them back on the rack… common sense y’all!!

Looks like Taz came through and organized the shelves. Products everywhere except the correct places. Products all over the floor,.Parentless kids everywhere. Looks like a day care, not a store. The merchandise should have been tossed in a dumpster. Broken, overpriced garbage. Probably the worst Goodwill in Dane County. This place is a hot mess. I thought Southtowne GW was bad, this is worse.

Fine store. No drive through for donations which is inconvenient. You have to park and carry all of your items into the store. The staff there don't help you and there are a whole bunch of buckets of random stuff with no direction whatsoever on where to put your items. The actual store itself is an average Goodwill. Well priced stuff but the items are used (obviously) so you don't really know what you're going to get.

So the weird thing is... my daughter and I walk in and within 60 seconds find a coat that was like it was made for her: perfect color, fit, only $14. And yet... the place is a bit dingy, dark. It's small too. Definitely check here if you are looking for something, but Vinnie's down Main Street might be a better stop.

There's a wide range items available here with reasonable pricing on most. Accessories, household items, sports, electronics, clothes, shoes, hand bags and more can be found here. Color tag special on weekend, military, student and senior citizen discounts too.

Well cant complain find EXACTLY what I was looking for at a fair price plus if you are a military veteran they offer you a 10% discount just show them proof.

Dark and cramped feeling. The store seemed a little unorganized the few times I have been in. I would just go to St. Vincents instead or drive the extra 10 mins to the Goodwill by east town mall
