Jim helped me out. He was knowledgeable and set me up with some key blanks and some files. I drove over 200 miles and realized I had forgotten the key to my rooftop carrier. I had someone send me a picture of the key and was able top make the key myself in about 5 minutes. IT WORKED!!! Thanks for your help Jim. I wouldn't have been able to do this task without you!

The store is more organized than it used to be, and the help has always been great. I shop there a handful of times a year, and never had a problem. Cindy was my checkout gal and she was great, helping answer my questions to find items.

The men working in this store are very friendly and helpful. If one person doesn't know the answers they will get the expert for your project. The cashier women on the other hand are rude and do not like their job. I would not have unhappy workers checking out my customers. Throwing things in bags because they have to work. I left multiple times with a bad taste in my mouth. Really disappointing.

This has to be the worst hardware store I've ever been in. Every single employee that isn't at a register will stand in a line just past the entrance when it's within 30 minutes of closing and harass/interrogate you, with major attitude, as soon as you walk in the door and the entire time you're there. And if you say you don't need any help they will follow you around the store. And for some reason they always find some way to tell you that you must not be "from here," even if you are. It's the most awkward, rude experience I've ever encountered in my life. We avoid this place like the plague when at all possible (unfortunately Door County has limited options and they stock some things that no-one else does, but we absolutely order online instead of going in when we can). Avoid this place unless you're a "good ole' boy" if you can!

They make you sign for credit card purchases with a communal stylus and have no hand sanitizer available. We are in the midst of a pandemic! Just dumb! Really dumb! All the folks working the floor were nice. Store was clean and well stocked. But dumb is dumb....

Great small town local hardware store, - pretty much has everything I could ever want, so do not need to make trips into Green bay or Appleton. Friendly and knowledgeable staff as well clean store. If I can't find it here, I really probably do not need it.

I needed a new knob for the control on my washing machine. They called and told me it was in a few days later. $26.32 for a small plastic knob. Never called when they ordered it after seeing how high priced it would be, never warned me when they called and told me it was in. Will not be buying any parts or appliances there, or getting any service done, that's for sure.

I ordered a fridge from Appliance Avenue inside of the Coop and was told by the sales associate that I could expect my fridge to be delivered first thing in the morning at 8am. When they didn't show up in the morning I was then told they were rerouted and would be at my house around noon. When they didn't show up at noon and I called again I was told they had just finished up their last job and were on their way. An hour after that call at 3:30 the guys showed up. The office/retail side seemed to have no connection to what was actually happening in the field and seriously failed in communicating when I should have expected my fridge to be delivered. I'd rather hear an honest correct answer as opposed to several optimistic wrong ones. The actual appliance guys who removed my fridge and installed the new one were great, no complaints on that end. The office just needs to work on their logistics and communication with their clients. When they do that, I might recommend them.

Great place to shop. Excellent prices compared to other stores in the area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Brian in perticular at the front of the store is amazing hes helpful knowledgable and makes you very comfortable. And when he says hollar if ya need him thats exactly what i did and he came with a smile!!! Thank you True Value and their awesome staff!!

I was just at the Door County Co op and noticed that there was no sign posted for customers to wear masks. About half of the customers entering the store were not wearing a mask. Wisconsin has a mask mandate, yet when I spoke with an employee she told me that that is only a "suggestion". She said that they cannot make anyone wear a mask. Well, they can at least post a "mask are required " sign. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I purchased about 25 or 30 steel fence posts last fall 2018 and had 10 that were not needed or used but didn't have time to return them before leaving for Florida for the winter. When I returned in May 2019 I attempted to return the 10 posts (with the receipt) and the store would not accept the return even for a store credit. Very poor management decision. I have 10 posts I can't use and won't be purchasing anything at this store again.

Staff can be hit or miss (mostly miss). Prices are much higher than I have found in other areas. Getting someone to help you is a chore at best......
