I want to share my experience at Tabby & Jack’s in Stoughton, Wisconsin.I stopped by to see what the procedure was to groom my dog. I was greeted by a young girl named Samantha. I asked her a lot of questions and explained I was very worried about leaving Louie with someone. Would they treat my sweet pup with kindness? Would they be patient with him? She was very kind and helpful. Samantha really listened to me. She went over all the details and assured me he was in good hands. I made the appointment. A few days later, I had to reschedule. I left a message on their voicemail. Samantha returned my call promptly and had an appointment set for me.I am so impressed with Samantha. Her customer service is above and beyond her years.I’m so happy, Louie had his appointment with Caitlin today. He did amazing! The experience was everything a dog mommy dreams about for their sweet pup. Caitlin was so kind and patient with him. Louie looked and felt amazing! Thank you so much Caitlin for making our experience so great!Stoughton Tabby & Jack’s is incredible! These people are amazing! It was my first time in the store and I was greeted by a woman named Joanie who helped me every step of the way. She answered questions and used her experience to make recommendations. The store is big, clean and full of amazing products from treats to food and beds to balls. I'm now a "forever" customer. I also had my puppy with me and he loved it too! I also bought them some toys and little outfits.

We went here for grooming instead of our usual location at the Tabby and Jack’s Fitchburg because we needed to get her in quickly. Our dog left here traumatized. She was violently shaking, trying to pull me out the door, wouldn’t say hi to me EVEN AFTER GETTING IN THE CAR, and hasn’t been herself for the rest of today (avoiding the other pets, not eating like normal, sleeping more, etc). I admit she had some matting on her feet, chin, and behind her ears. This may have been the difference, but she has never left the groomer this upset. Her haircut isn’t what we wanted because of this so I don’t blame them at all for that and accept responsibility there. They were speedy, but it felt too speedy and she still had knots on her ears when we got home that I had to brush out myself. I wouldn’t mind so much if it wasn’t almost $200 for her grooming. Her nails are trimmed unevenly, she doesn’t smell good, and we question if they did the full package we purchased. Finally, the staff seemed rude and the groomer barely spoke to me before walking away and gave no comment as to why she was so scared. It wasn’t the worst experience by any means, but not up to the standard we have become accustomed to with Tabby and Jacks. FYI she is usually groomed in Fitchburg, but does not have a consistent groomer within that location, so it could be a new person or location causing her fear, just seems unlikely given the fact we don’t use the same individual groomer each time we go. She has been groomer about 4 times and is only 10mo old. I feel bad leaving this review, because I understand their job is not easy but also want people to be aware this may occur.

Good selection for quality dog food. Has good selection for treats and bones as well that our dog tolerates really well (he had a sensitive digestive system). They are always friendly and the place is really clean each time I have gone.

I'm from out of town and stumbled upon Tabby and Jack's today by mistake while meandering through town. This store has many high quality food options, treats, and toys for both dogs and kitty cats! They have shelter kitty cats up for adoption and appear to take very good care of them! The employee was very sweet and even offered to try and get a product ordered for me that they don't typically stock (before I told her I was out of town). It reminds me of my local family-owned pet store and I love supporting smaller businesses! I would definitely recommend visiting here and if you're in the area, making it YOUR pet store!

Bright and cheerful. Great staff who are pleasant and super helpful. Can be a bit pricey, but appreciate the product lines and the convenience. There is grooming service on-site. We have just used nail trimming and really liked the groomer who took care of our skittish pup. Periodically they will have animals on site available for adoption.

Clean, well laid out store with a large variety of options for pet necessities. Friendly staff with decent knowledge, but do your own homework as well. The grooming service here we have used several times and our dogs raved about the experience.

Drew is amazing. I have been looking at multiple stores for a specific item for my very picky cat. All the places I went apologized for not having it or just pointed me towards the cat supplies and ignored me. This is what I expected when I walked into this store in stoughton WI today. But I was pleasantly surprised. Drew was so kind and understanding about my needs .He went above and beyond to help me find the exact item I was looking for even though I didn't ask him to and they did not have it in stock. I will be back and I hope drew is working when I come back again. Thank you so much.

Had a groomer named Katlynn who was absolutely awful. She up charged me from what I usually pay and cut my dogs lip with her scissors. My dog was bleeding all over her mouth.Terrible at her job and an even worse personality.

Prefer the stores in Madison. This store in Stoughton was limited with kinds of dog food and accessories. They said it would be 2 weeks to get their cones in. Their Fitchburg and Monona isn't any better. Sales staff were very nice.

Grooming services in Stoughton are fantastic. Our dog can be challenging when it comes to the blow dryer and the dremel for the nail. But they never complain about him and he always looks great!
