One word! AMAZING! What an absolutely lovely little cafe to have lunch & pie. I had the Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich & I am telling you it is the best I’ve ever had! Yum! The dressing and a little crunch from the cucumber and served on Cranberry Wild rice bread! I had multiple customers asking me what it was. Also had the Lemon Lavender pie which was heavenly! The 2 gentlemen behind the counter were so personable. So nice to have wonderful customer service! Definitely will be back to this lovely little small town! Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful little shop that has grown in recent years. The sandwiches & pie are wonderful as is the coffee. There is now a larger gift shop with lots of fudge, truffles, jams & wine.They also told us they have space upstairs to host groups up to 50 so this may be a new stop for our car club when we do tours along the Great River Road.

When we first got there, we could not believe there were so many people lining the streets of this tiny town - and they had a great reason to be there - Stockholm Pie and General Store. Lots of classic candy on the general store side, and the pie was absolutely amazing. It was warm and the cherry pie filling was perfect, crust was flakey, and so happy that I opted in to try the whipped cream… a full scoop of whipped cream that tasted just like ice cream. What an awesome find! Wish I could come back to try more sweet and savory pies.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust

Stockholm Pie and General Store in Stockholm, WI is a magical restaurant located on the Wisconsin side of Lake Pepin. Situated on US-hwy 35/WI Great River Road, this iconic business is easy to find and shouldn’t be missed.As a local, I appreciate the restaurant’s variety of delicious, quality foods from their chicken pot pies, sandwiches/wraps and salads to ice cream, coffee and of course, their world-famous pies!For those that are gluten free, they have meal options, GF pie on the weekends and prepackaged GF treats (cookies and/or brownies). If you have your heart set on a certain flavor of GF pie, be sure to call ahead and order it a few days in advance. The staff are always eager to accommodate my GF restrictions!Lastly, this business is known to be busy, but the service is very efficient, staff are amazing, welcoming and inclusive. The business is clean, organized and great for all ages. Additionally, they now have an event area for smaller weddings, pie tastings, craft/vendor markets, mother-daughter teas and so much more!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free—lots of options and they are very accommodating. Call ahead if you want a certain type of pie GF.Kid-friendliness: My kids love getting pie and ice cream here! They also love the old fashioned general store toys, candy and soda pops!

Totally worth the drive. The sandwiches are delicious but pricey so you may just want to brown bag it and reserve your money for pie. We tried the raisin sour cream and the peanut butter fudge pies. Both of them were very tasty with a delicious crust. We were able to eat outside and this made it a special treat. There are many treasures to bring home. One thing I loved was the variety of root beers they had to choose from.

I always stop. Been going here since it was just a tiny part of a building in 2008. They have grown and improved upon their legendary quality. The best pie you'll find within hundreds of miles. The banana cream is a personal favorite. But any slice will please.

This place is more like a 4.7 stars. Very quaint and not fussy. They have vegetarian as well as meat options for food. We didn't end up going into the store itself just had lunch and dessert. The happy hippy wrap was delicious and well seasoned. It did come with a tiny side of house made pickles (cucumber slices with the pickle juice). My spouse ate the cucumbers and small pieces of onion and the pickle juice that's how good it was. He's not much of a veggie fan so that was impressive. My spouse got the chicken pot pie which he said was delicious. Super flaky crust and filling was on point. It came with a side salad. For dessert we each got a slice of pie, one apple and the other raspberry and blackberry. The slices were like a 4th of a 9 inch pie with copious amounts of whip cream on top. My raspberry/blackberry pie was great for the first 2 bites and that became way too sweet! I tried to balance it out with the whip cream but eventually ended up trying to scoop out filling and eat the crust. The crust is everything you would want a crust to be. Definitely a place we would go back to!!

Extra creamy thick Chocolate pie!Wife likes the true lemon Flavor in the “Double Lemon”.Special order a full pie! There are some places in our journeys that truly are gems in this day and age. This place is truly a piece of history. First, u enter and u can see the history and delights for sale. The deli side is so unique. Tip-go with the half ham sandwich.....u will not regret it. Even get it to go and take it to the overlook park a 5 minute south of. Stockholm. Remember to allow room for pie. A great stop in the middle of nowhere. Their cookies are the best. U have never tasted anything like this in your life before this event.

Stockholm is on our list for sure, at least twice/year we make the trek south, and no better time than the fall. These three connected spaces all have something to offer; we hit the pie section last. So many unique and artsy gift pieces, to old time candies, cards, and novelties, topped off with pie! A really wonderful autumn experience.

We have only heard the wonderful things about this place. However, our experience wasn't the greatest. We ordered a slice of peanut butter fudge l, a slice of oreo pie, and a water. It was hard trying to eve order because the digital screen that had information on it didn't match up with the paper signs with information below. When we got the slices of pie, you can see they are different sizes, and the presentation was lacking. I went to pick up my slice that didn't have a whipped cream on it, yet the bottom of my plate was covered in it. Then the oreo pie was actually peppermint oreo, which we didn't want. Then even the peanut butter fudge pie was dense, and the crust didn't taste that good. Overall, I was disappointed in our visit.

Stockholm Pie has a great atmosphere and the staff were so wonderful. Both my husband and I ordered the Banana Cream Pie. If we return we will absolutely choose something else. This pie is normally layers of bananas with a silky banana cream, however yesterday when we tried it, it was not. The banana cream was almost like layered custard with too much gelatin, it had a very strange mouth feel. The crust and whipped cream were good, so we would try another pie next time.

Really nice sandwiches and desserts. The corned beef on the reuben tasted like they just cooked and sliced it the night before, delicious! We shared a slice of peanut butter pie, delectable!

We ordered blueberry and Choco coconut, topped with homemade whipped cream. They tasted phenomenal! It does get busy and some of the pies may ran out. Highly recommended.
