Visited on a Sunday afternoon. I loved the bar astetic. It had the warm log cabin feel with a little humor in there.Bartender was very fast, funny, and sociable. You could tell she likes her job.My siblings, and I, all got pizzas. A different one each so we could all share. We agreed the BLT one was the best hands down. It was incredible. I even enjoyed it cold the next day. The rueben wasn't far behind. It had great flavor and plenty of topping. The last one we tried/in our ranking was ring of fire. But that's really no fault of the establishment. My family loves spice. The pizza had good flavor but wasn't nearly as spicy as we thought it would be.All in all I am not a pizza person. But I loved these. It's nice to have pizzas without the tradition red sauce plus toppings option. I will absolutely be returning.Parking: Pretty small parking lot. We got lucky and found a spot on the street.Kid-friendliness: They had am arcade looking area.

My wife and I stopped in randomly and we were glad we did. The owner (s) appeared to be working the bar they were friendly also very busy. Took the time to go over some of the specialty items on the menu and local favorites. I had a homemade pizza, wife had the chicken breast sandwich. Both of our meals were excellent and everyone in the place was having a good time. Glad we stopped and tried it! We will be back!

Julie and I did a random stopwe do once in a while just to find great places to eatI had a great conversation with the owner Jim and thanked him for how they support the Veterans at their bar.the Western wrap had I thought was outstanding and my wife said she really enjoyed hers.we need to come back hereI think you need to put this one high on your must stop list for a great place to eat.Jim told me he wanted to make a relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful place to eat and they certainly accomplished that

Totally ripped us off. We ordered the chicken nuggets with fries and got charged for an extra fry, it was supposed to come with a side. Okay, fine then we have a whole lots extra fries. Except when we got our order we only got a handful of fries. When I asked the waitress where the extra order of fries were, she asked the bartender. He came over and said she put the extra fries with the nuggets. There was no way. They didn't seem to care.

I used to go there and enjoyed several items on the menu. The last time I went there, a young female bartender was refusing to serve me. She had served me in the past without issue. I had been seated at the bar for 10 minutes and noticed she hadn't acknowledged me. So, I moved to a spot closer to where she was thinking she would be able to see me better. When she finally came around to ask me what I wanted I stated I would like a Dirty Martini. She had a puzzled look on her face. I explained the lady sitting to my right was a bartender at another local establishment and she would be able to explain how to make it if she was unsure and then I asked for a menu. She stared at me for about 10 seconds and then said "Please"? I asked her if she was seriously going to refuse a drink and food unless I said please. She just stood there staring at me. I gathered my belongings and let her know I was leaving and would not be coming back again, as in ever again. I was not rude. I had eaten in this establishment many times before. The owners were always kind and I always had good food a great time there, until this happened. I would be happy to speak with the owners about my experience if they wish to reach out. I have heard other locals say they won't go there because the bartenders were rude and disrespectful to some elderly patrons, but that wasn't my experience, so I kept on patronizing them, as I do all my local restaurants. One of my friends who was across the street at Gobblers Knob (where I did go immediately following my departure) stated if he had been there with me that she never would have done that. The fact is, regardless of who I am, how I am dressed, who I am with or whatever my age, it never should have happened. I work in the service industry and I have dealt with rude and disrespectful customers. I was in no way rude or disrespectful.

I started coming in in July of 21 it 30 min drive , but I would drive 2 hour for the cleanest , best food and 2 best owners that bust there butts everyday to make the experience awesome. The best bartender you will ever meet (Shandra) FYI best Rueben and French dip not to mention the most unbelievable pizza you will ever eat

I asked the locals in town where's there a spot to get some food? This was the only place anyone could really mention. We checked out the menu and called to place our order. The lady was rude on the phone and the items we asked for off the menu were apparently not being served anymore. She stated that the menu is not updated with what's available and also the prices are wrong!! So we looked again and called back. My husband got a sandwich that he really enjoyed. We also ordered two chicken nuggets. We only saw one in the bag and called back to let them know that they had missed one. They called back after we were on our way back to the restaurant/bar and said that it was two orders in one box? Why would you do that? It was two different individuals food and they needed to share? We also ordered a French fry that was four dollars or whatever cause it don't make sense and there was literally just a small handful of soggyness. So I ordered a sandwich, two chicken nuggets, and a fry and it cost me forty dollars? Also when I called they told me 25mins it would be ready for pick up. I showed up 30mins later and waited an additional 30mins in the restaurant/bar? I also had a difficult time trying to get the attention of the bartender. The inside of the establishment is wonderful but everything else really sucked. Totally ridiculous. My first time there and my last. Definitely not impressed and a little t'd off. I see your other reviews and your apologies but you do nothing to actually make it right. I am calling for my money back. I was overcharged and never got a receipt. With those kind of prices you would think your sandwich would come with fries or a side!

Came in twice while staying at calumet park for two weeks. Great and relaxed vibe with good Pizza. We'll come back in next year when we're back in the area.Time to head south!

I had the "Yuenling Battered Cod Sandwhich" and the Sandwhich was HUGE! However the 2 pieces of fish that were on the sandwhich were not like any fish I've ever had? Not good and in my opinion it was a frozen product.My mother-in-law never received her Taco Wrap, so she sat there while we all ate. We finished, still no food. I went up to the bar and inquired about the food and asked for it to go instead because we were ready to pay the bill.There was no apology. Our bill was over $100 and they still charged for my mother in laws meal which she didn't get to eat with us. Bummer!

Been here a couple of times before. Usually had good service with great pizza. This time not so much. Staff (owners, I believe) seemed uninterested in acknowledging we were at the bar, seemed gruff after I asked for some service.We ordered sandwiches which were average at best. Hope this was the exception and not the new norm.

Definitely a bar atmosphere. The menu is pretty unique, and the fried pickles were delicious! The cook even made me something that wasn’t on the menu. The sandwiches were delicious and HUGE! Lots of food for a great price!

Stopped by for a bite after work. They had one bartender working the bar and front of house. She was doing her best given being absurdly short staffed on labor day weekend. Which, given the speed that food was leaving the kitchen, they were clearly short staffed too.Ordered the spinach artichoke dip. It was the absolute most middling effort dish I may have ever seen. Yes, it was spinach dip. Yes it took over 30 minutes to get. The cheese on top wasn't melted. At least 3/4 of the dish wasn't warm. A handful of Clancy's tortilla chips tossed onto the plate.The bartenders efforts are the only reason I'm giving this place two stars and not one. Fortunately, I never have to come back.In short: Stop it, get some help.

One of those unique Wisconsin family owned businesses that offers a variety of quality goods. Their pizzas and sandwiches are delicious. The sauce for the chicken pizza is a creamy delight. After you are done filling up, if you feel like soaking a line or rustling up some big game, they have that too. Just go around back. They carry a full line of in-land fishing bait and tackle, and hunting gear. Stop in to dine, shop, or just to say hello to Jim and Jody, some great folks.
