We've had a couple of really bad experiences with customer service here that caused us to switch to the more local pharmacy nearby. One cost us substantial extra time and some problems for getting medication for a family member. I can only imagine what might happen when medicine is critical for good health or even survival. The worst part: a supervisor tried to blame some distant phone-bank customer service representative when it was really a local employee who caused the issue -- we suspect out of pure spite and impatience because we had the audacity to ask for help over the phone (the worker's tone made it obvious). And when management covers for that kind of malice by being untruthful, it's even worse. Maybe the hours are better at a big chain like Walgreens, but it's not worth risking your health. Go to a responsive, helpful, honest and humane pharmacy instead.

I’ve not once had a good experience with this pharmacy- they techs are doing their best but the policies or whatever in place are making it impossible to be efficient. They have lost my filled prescription in their pharmacy more times than I can count.

We moved to Stevens Point area last Summer. Had my Daughter's prescriptions transfered to this Walgreens. At first it was messy, prescriptions delayed, can't fill right now, need script from Doctor, always something. Long story short, it got better, but I think the issue is "short staffed". Everytime we go in there, new people, so lot of employee turn over going on. Yes, drive thru should be improved, wait time too long. Your never have happy customers or high rating reviews unless you have good Management, Training, and Professional Leaders.Still having issues on refills, not on time, not enough in stock, delays, etc. If this continues going to transfer my Daughter's prescriptions to a different Pharmacy.

I called the Friday before my last visit to fill a prescription, the automated system told me it would be ready Saturday morning at 10. I came Monday after work and was told the prescription was not in stock. I was not notified ahead of time that this prescription wasn't available. It's frustrating to spend my time coming in to the store to pick up meds only to be told they aren't available by a customer service rep, who has an attitude conveying she couldn't care less. I interacted with Amanda in the pharmacy and this is not the first time I've received this treatment from her. I understand that meds not being there isn't her fault but she doesn't offer to get a pharmacist to assist me with questions and doesn't convey compassion for meds unavailable, that are required to be taken daily to avoid seizures. I felt helpless at the pharmacy counter and your employee only made that feeling worse. No smile, unable to answer my questions about availability, and generally dismissive. I will not be coming back, I will transfer my prescription elsewhere and hopefully I'm never put in a position to need your services again. I have already spoken with a number of people I know about my experience (some stating they have also heard negative things about the Park Ridge Walgreens pharmacy) and I will continue to share my experience so no one else has to be treated the way that I was. It's evident you either don't have enough staff to adequately care for the PAYING CUSTOMERS coming in to your establishment, or you don't care about the staff you have and how they represent your business. I had to give one star in order for this to post.

This place has gone from bad to worse. Last year I used up all my B12 needles and they couldn’t get any for weeks—blamed it on Covid and supply chain. Ok, understandable! Now a year later I need small the needles again and ordered them a week ago. I was notified they were out of stock and would have them in a few days, ok.Finally I had to call them 10 days later cause they hadn’t gotten back to me.They said they no long carry the small needles and they could offer me a larger one if my doc writes a script. Now I gotta contact doc. We get the new script ordered and the needles are huge!!! And they’re charging me almost 13.00 for one—I used to get a dozen for that price. Now the problem is I can’t inject myself with these large needles and if I go to urgent care I’ll get charged for visit. Of course Walgreens won’t take the prescription needle back but they could give me a gift certificate in good faith for their screw up. I’m going to head over and see if they’ll deliver the b12 meds and then try to order smaller syringes and needles onLine. I’m so sick of there mess ups—it’s not like this is the only one.

This pharmacy is for you if you do t mind waiting in line for over an hour and they close the drive thru so 13 people lined up to pick up in store. Prices are high and after having to walk out without my prescription due to over an hour wait...will be changing pharmacies

The line for the pharmacy is often long, both inside and out--they seem to be understaffed at high-volume times of day. However, I've usually had excellent service; the pharmacists are helpful and most of the techs are friendly and kind. Store is clean and well-stocked.

Worst customer service ever. I try working with them and they always come up with any excuse they can. They told me my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes on a Tuesday, then that Friday I called to see why it wasn't ready and they said they couldn't fill it until the following Monday and that it will be ready then. I say ok. Then I go in to pick it up and the staff tells me that I have no prescription, then says they can't fill it and can't call my doctor to verify. I LIVE FOUR HOURS AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR! It didn't help that they had the WORST attitudes. I didn't yell or get snobby, I talked in a calm manner, so now I'm pissed. This isn't the first time Walgreens has screwed me over either, but corporate doesn't care when I call, so I'm screwed either way. I swear, if I die before I get another prescription, I'm haunting the hell out of that place. I can always count on Walgreens to let me down every time.

Is everyone there just hating their lives or what? Stopped after work one morning, clock turns 7am get out of my car. Woman comes to unlock the doors, unlocked the door I was standing in front of last. No good morning nothing, literally gave me the death look and walked away..... Hey, thanks for ending my day on a great note! Today, go in after work and wait at the register for almost 10 min. Before someone finally came up. No sorry for the wait or anything. Bad attitudes every time I have been there which has only been a handful of times. Smile once in a while, be friendly it can do wonders......

Pharmacy is terrible, I had to go without medication because they couldn't fill it. This is medication i cant go without and my doctor was upset that I went without. The lady who serviced me shouldn't be working in customer service she yelled at me and lied to me even after I verified with my insurance company. She then told me I never gave her my insurance information which once again was a lie. My insurance rep called Walgreens to help and then my insurance rep told me they had never even called to check on my coverage and were incompetent and just rude to her (which I so agree with). I will never go back. I would rather drive 50 miles to get the meds. Save yourself from pure disappointment and go anywhere else in the area.

The staff have been typically decent. However not having a medication or having it on "backorder" is less than convenient. Ended up switching pharmacies because of this.

Sunday, they refused my prescription even though I have insurance and willing to pay for it despite the insurance not going through. Said they would call my doc on Monday. They never called. It’s Tuesday and they still won’t give it to me.

Terrible wait times, typical meds often out of stock and ordered medications not available for pick up the same day or even the day after they arrive. Today, I waited in the car pickup line, just one car ahead of me, for 25 minutes before I had to leave.

The staff is amazing. Management really needs to staff up for flu shot season. The pharmacy staff deserves better planning. So do the customers.

I swear I’ve been sitting in this pharmacy line for 30 minutes and the cars in front of me haven’t even moved. I don’t understand how hard it is to look up a name and give us our meds. It’s not rocket science.

Terrible service at the drive thru. Should have people come in to take care of business that takes over a half hour. Apparently you can't wait on 2 cars at a time. Unexceptable service.

Everytime I come here my prescription is never ready. However, I check my insurance website before I leave to pick it up and it shows it was ran through. I fill them in the morning and don't arrive for them until after 4PM! Something in the pharmacy department is not working.

This place can't EVER get anything right. If they say they will have your order ready for pickup, they will not. Don't count on them even giving you the correct perscription. People make mistakes but EVERY TIME?

Walgreens is a convenient rip off. Buy one 20 percent more than Walmart or get two (which you don't need) for the right price. How often is that really convenient? I'd rather go to Copps or Walmart. Sorry Walgreen's. Just being honest

I dropped off my prescription at 2:15 and went to go pick them up at 4: 30, then waiting for half an hour for someone to help us just for them to try to tell us that they just got them 1 min ago and that's with me physically dropping them off. This isn't the first time! That place is a joke!
