I try to visit here when in town. Great selection of canned cat food. WI companies sold. Lots of cat toys. The knit catnip animals by the register are always worth the visit. Good place to grab a variety for picky eaters. Staff are nice and helpful

We love to visit the Companion Shop every time we come to Point. When my son lived above in the apartments years ago, one of his packages got delivered to CS. The owners showered his kitten with small gifts and treats. They really are great, and we make it a point to stop now every visit.

Everyone here is always really nice, gives my puppy treats he loves! Everyone adores him! I bought him an interactive treat toy that he already is obsessed with! Odd hours so be sure to check before you go

Wonderful products and excellent service always. This is a family owned shop with a variety of food, treats, toys, leashes, vests, collars, carriers, training items, just about anything you can imagine canine or feline related they have it. They also have high end quality food as well for a better price than I would have to pay at the vet. I love this place!

High quality pet products of all varieties and for most species. When we had a cat, we'd always get her treats from here, and now that we have a dog, we get him treats from here! Always nice to treat our pets after we treat ourselves downtown. No complaints from the dog either!

Thank you Andi and The Companion Shop!! For offering Rad Cat and Stella and Chewy's Raw Food! After 9 months of chronic diarrhea, Danielle the cat is FINALLY able to live like a normal cat! Andi was so nice and informative- We were feeding an expensive prescription canned food from the vet for months and months with no results- Andi said that the Raw food would help within just a few days, but results were more like overnight for Danielle the cat. Such a great store with wonderful, caring people. Thanks again!

Someone brought me treats from this store on their travels. My dog loves the bacon and maple bones. My cats are picky about their treats but gobbled up the crunchy whitefish treats. Def will have to stop at this store if I ever get down that way.

They have a great selection of items. Especially freeze dried raw treats and foods, in a wide variety. The place is full of caring, and very helpful employees! I come here for meaty bones for my German shepherd, there's something for dogs of all breeds and sizes!

I found this adorable pet shop a few months back. I just want to give recognition to a gentleman that ran my transaction today. He was extremely enthusiastic, and just overall so kind to my boyfriend and I. This literally made my day! It's not often in customer service that you have such a positive interaction with an employee as a customer.Although I live an hour and a half away, I will continue to come back just because of this shop's customer service, and obviously to get more duck head treats for our dog! (Today I found out our dachshund can devour one in 10 minutes!!)

This is a MUST STOP when we are on our way up to the northwoods at Oliver's request / insistence ... It's his VERY favorite pet store of all time! He is treated so kindly by the staff.. they greet him with treats every time he comes in! He absolutely loves their selection of TOYS AND GOURMET DOGGIE ICE CREAM! with flavors like Bacon, Quail, Ranch... how can you go wrong?!

During these strange virus times, they have offered curb side service so that our Miss Poppy hasn’t had to go without her favorite raw food. We’re happy to support this terrific local business where high quality pet food ( and so much more) is available!

Extremely kind and professional people. They trimmed my new dogs nails after I expressed that I was concerned about her fear aggression. They handled her very well and were able to safely trim her nails. They are clearly experienced with fear desensitization. Their dog toys and gear are more durable than other pet store products, for a similar price point. Their bulk bin treats allow you to buy plastic-free for a reasonable price.

Yesterday was our first trip to the Companion Shop...and they have made me an instant loyal customer! The service is outstanding! We used their downstairs facility to give our little dog a bath, blow dry and some time to run free, it was wonderful. And their doggy ice cream was a big hit!

Friendly service.This kills me to do this but I am updating my review because we took our cat to get clipped. We went there a few times and it was okay but then it wasn't. I know the staff is doing a great job here but they weren't a great fit for my cat. She is very particular as she is a bit of a Diva but she was absolutely not comfortable there. We have taken to clipping her claws on our own.I truly do love the store and I am so thankful it is downtown. I just would not recommend coming here for the grooming part of it. Just be sure to know that not all pets fit at places nicely.

♥️ this place! Awesome products for those of us that want to treat our cats and dogs like the family they are. They have nearly everything you would want for these special family members. Quality is top notch and fairly priced. Customer service is awesome too!And, dont forget to check out their self serve doggie washing station and basement play area, especially during those cold winter mos when you can't get outside.

Unreal. Have been giving this store business for years. I walk up to the door at 5:58(yes they I know they close at 6 but had one of those days) needing a bag of dog food as I am out. I see the employee at the cash register and the door locked. I knocked on the door and the employee shrug his shoulders. I walk back to my car stunned and call the store thinking I could explain to the store employee that I am out of dog food and just need to purchase a bag and that I was at the door at 5:58 knocking. He basically said sorry, the cash register off and locked the door at 6pm. I said I came up to the door at 5:58 and it will show I called this number after I knocked on the door at 6:01 (which is on my call log on my phone) All he wanted to do was argue that he locked the door at 6 and didn’t care that I just need a bag of dog food. I am all for giving small businesses my business but not when they provide poor customer service like I had this evening. Where has good customer service gone? I thought downtown businesses are struggling? Well the Companion Shop must not be struggling if they can turn away business for the purchase of a $70 bag of dog food 2 minutes before they close and when I call 1 minute after they close as the door was locked. Feels like this small business has moved to big box store style of customer service.

I've been shopping at the Companion Shop ever since I moved back to Stevens Point in 2004. What a fantastic store! The best in premium dog and cat food at fair prices. And now a selection of raw food, too. A marvelous array of dog/cat treats and toys. Plus, Andi fosters cats for adoption, which socializes them. Both my cats are Companion Shop "graduates," and I couldn't ask for higher-quality kitties. And last but very importantly---there's Andi's superb customer service. Service with a bit of sass--and lots of knowledge about her products and cats and dogs. I give Companion Shop 10 out of 5 stars!
