Usually clean and organized. If you need a quick stop for a few things, the self checkout is a nice way to go. Alot better and more convenient than going to the family dollar on the other side of town. Just prefer dollar general. Sign up for the rewards thing. Plenty of coupon options, and the 5 off 25 is always convenient. Most likely thdy have what you need, and the prices aren't bad.

New store, stopped for the first time. A lot of empty shelves. Maybe wait to open the new store until you can fill the shelves?Customer in front of us at the self-checkout had a question. Couldn't find an employee nearby. She pressed the "Assistance" button at the register and no one came.After a few minutes, we dropped our selections and left the store. We will wait and see if service at this location improves.

They have the nicest holiday season decorations and pre-made boxes etc. DG also has big assortment frozen foods for less than the price of the grocery store. Shelves were packed with goodies.

Need to stock shelves and get friendlier staff. More courteous and not so short with customers. If you hate your job that much, move on with a different place!

Service is hit and miss, however they have some nice home stuff and I’ve not had any oos issues. Nice new store.
