Really cozy little place with absolutely unreal chicken sandwiches. Michelle was attentive, sweet and even had a Shrek movie on for the kids. I will be dreaming about these chicken sandwiches all the way back home to Minnesota.

Mooney's Rusty Horse Bar and Grill is the only place in the Village of Spring Valley, Wisconsin that serves food outside of your Basic Frozen Bar Pizzas which are OK depending on the Brand of Frozen Pizzas that the Bar has to offer and how long the Bartender cooks the pizza. In my opinion, a pizza is cooked properly when the cheese on top is slightly brown. Some Bartenders put the pizza in the oven, set the timer manufacturer's suggested 15-20 minutes, and never bother to check to see if it's cooked properly. If pizzas are the only food items that a bar carries then take pride in making it the Best Pizza Ever. Mooney's Rusty Horse Bar and Grill's Menu offers a variety of Tasty and Delicious foods that are cooked and or grilled to your liking and to order. Mooney's has your basic bar-and-grill Frozen Pizzas, deep-fried appetizers, Lunch Menu, and/or Supper Menu whichever you prefer to call the Menu. L Mooney's Menu consists of different types of hamburgers and or cheeseburgers. Their menu offers just a Sandwich of your choice only or ordering a Basket means adding Your Choice of Fries with your sandwich. Mooney's offers a variety of delicious foods on their menu from Burgers, Grilled or Deep Fried Chicken Breast Sandwiches, Fish Sandwiches, and Steak Sandwiches, all burgers and sandwiches can be made into Wrapped sandwiches or salads. Mooney's also offers Seafood dinners such as Fried Shrimp Dinner, Grilled Shrimp Skewers dinner, Deep Fried Beer-battered Cod Fish fillets, or Deep Fried Catfish Fillets dinners, and Fried Pollock fish Sandwiches or Baskets. Seafood dinners come with your choice of fries, coleslaw, and a dinner roll.There are Daily Meal Specials throughout the week Monday-Friday. Monthly, Seasonal, and Holiday Special Drink Menus.Mooney's Rusty Horse Bar and Grill is kid-friendly they even have 2 plastic baby/ Toddler highchairs for parents who come in with their smaller childrenVegetarian options: Mooney's has Okay Vegetarian Options and/or Selections from French Fries, Beer Battered Fries, Breaded Deep Fried Cauliflower, Deep Fried Asparagus, 3 different types of fried cheese curds jalapeño, garlic, and regular cheddar cheese, fried pickle chips, onion rings, and jalapeño poppers these are just a few of their appetizers which can be a meal if you select 2 or more of them, and for Lunch or Dinner, they have the Mooney's Salad which is like a Chef's Salad (w/meats) or Garden Salad (without Meat), large portions fresh lettuce, mixed salad greens when available, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, fresh mushrooms depending on availability, cucumbers, olives, cheese, Meats available Ham, Bacon, Grilled or Deep Fried Chicken Breast, and/or Turkey. Mooney's also has Large Pizza Fries 12" inches for those unfamiliar with them it's a Cheese and Garlic Butter Pizza with No Meat or Vegetables or Red Pizza Sauce in it or on it. The Garlic Butter Sauce is on the Crust instead of your regular Red Pizza Sauce, and Cheese is on the top of the Pizza Fries and is cut into strips instead of Squares, or Triangles. Red Pizza Sauce is served on the side as a condiment for dipping the Pizza Fries in.Parking: There's a small parking lot behind the bar it can fit about 10 cars and free street parking up and down McKay Street also down behind Matt's Drug Store a half a block from Mooney's Rusty Horse there is another decent size parking lot which can be used.Kid-friendliness: Mooney's is a baby, Toddler, and kid-friendly type of establishment that welcomes all people

We really enjoyed the food at this location. The waitresses were gracious and personable. DJing at this location was very enjoyable. They have a great group of dedicated customers. We felt very welcomed by everyone, including the owner. We really liked the rural atmosphere of the iron horse. They are truly the realization of a traditional biker bar.

Stopped at the Rusty Horse Bar & Grill on our Travels through the Area. Great Stop! The people were Great & Friendly. Eli Makes a WOW Bloody Mary & Wanda Make some great food. Glad we stopped there. We will be back when in the area again. :)

The food is amazing and the the drinks are great! The whole vibe of the restaurant is actually so nice and cozy but a little rustic. Also it’s SUPER CLEAN. It is a super SAFE place as well.
