We have gotten several halves of beef processed here (pay the little extra for the maximize steaks option, it's worth it) and have been satisfied every time. Really like that they use natural preservatives and cures. Kevin and Fadra do an excellent job with any questions or issues I may have.

I sat on sharing this review for days. I’ve honestly had nothing but unfortunate experiences here in the last year. Previously it was just strange impolite service from the younger employees but I went in recently as I needed a piece of meat quick to grill for dinner. I asked about a piece of smoked meat in the case “what’s the best way to cook this? Grill?” Guy behind the meat counter says “yeah” and walks away. Not exactly attentive service but I figured good enough for me until I got home to google it quick and the only recipes call for braising it 3 hours. Overall not a huge deal but I’ve come to expect this level of service in the area. As much as I want to, this will not be a business I can support and boy have I tried.

Great place to have in the Spring Valley area. The fresh food selection is minimal but perfect. The meat counter offers a large array options.

Such a clean and tidy store. Their steaks make great gifts for people who have everything. Their beef sticks are nitrate free and you would never know it. My dad swears by the meat sticks, and I have to buy about $100 of them before I see him (he shares them with his friends too). I love that they work with local farms also. The owners are very nice and responsive to email inquiries.

The quality of products here is outstanding! The issue I have is that I tried to order 12 Farmer’s Blend patties on 7/13/22 to pick up in two days. I was told that I would need to give them a minimum of 1-week notice for such an order. I wasn’t trying to order for a group of 100, it was a basic order for a small family gathering. I used to think of this store as a “destination place” that would be worth a 30 minute drive one way. Now, I’ll just shop them if I happen to be in the area.

We’re camping in the area and were told to stop & check out the store. So glad we did. Bought potato sausage, had some for breakfast. Best we’ve had in years. We’re going back for more to take home.

What an amazing Butchery! The choice of meat and side items is impressive. We went with the ribeye for dinner, but we'll definitely be back for other dinners.We also got a snack of their sweet and spicy beef jerky. Probably some of the best jerky I've ever had.An additional pleasant surprise is that they have Cheerwine, so we got several 4-packs. You may be like what in God's name is Cheerwine. Hear me out! It's not well known outside the east coast, but it's a soda staple out in NC. We just moved out here to the beautiful countryside of WI after over a decade living in NC. But our kids love this stuff and it made their Friday night.

Amazing store and customer service! I’ve used several butcher shops over the years for the steers we raise. A Butchery Shoppe is hands down the best! The best cuts with great packaging. I’m never going to any other meat store with our beef. Thank you for the great service and quality!

What a great place! Pretty much anything & everything meat related you want plus a whole lot of other things. Our dog Prince is hooked on pig ears & bones so he always gets a treat when we stop there! Highly recommended place! Keep up the good work Kevin & crew!

Bought some incredible steaks today and they were amazing!! They definitely know their way around beef. Tried 2 cuts of sirloin a Denver and a coulette. Not familiar with them but I couldn’t have been more pleased with them! Tender and flavorful beyond belief!! Going to go back for more soon!!!!

Awesome selection, many kinds of cheeses and meats and many other items such as chocolate, maple syrup, and honey displayed beautifully. Customer service is excellent Kevin remembered us and packaged up some pork chops fresh off the cutter.

A Butchery Shoppe is an incredible grocery store that offers much more on the inside than the outside: Don't judge a book by it's cover. Huge variety of specialty meats cut and prepared by Kevin. Although this store is called "A Butchery Shoppe", it offers so much more. Great selection of produce, confections, and kitchen made goods. There is even a large meat case/deli for delicious food on the go.
