Thank you to the pharmacy tech. whose name I think was Evan. He took his time to figure out how to get my RX refilled. He helped me with the Walgreens RX savings finder to get me the lowest cost since I no longer have medication coverage. I really appreciated his patience.

They require an ID to be scanned for a return with a receipt. You shouldn't need an ID to do a return with a receipt. Thr employees are mindless morons who do theor corporate overlords bidding. Acting like wage slaves enforcing evil policies set forth by a third party.

The pharmacy is so slow they take hours to fill prescription, when at other locations in normally takes 15 minutes. I waited in the Drive-Thru for 20 minutes then I go inside and wait another 30 minutes because there's literally only two people there I feel like if they're so understaffed they should just close down. But then I'm told my order will be ready after their lunch which is at 1 to 2:30 and then I called at 2:45 after they said my order would be ready at 2:30 and they told me it will be another 2 hours so I have been waiting for my order for 6 hours total. I wouldn't recommend using this pharmacy if you're coming from the hospital on lake drive you're better off using the Aurora pharmacy because your prescription will be filled right away. I've been going to this pharmacy since January at this location and it's just been trouble ever since I would not recommend this pharmacy at all. You would probably get faster service at the pharmacy on Nicholson and Layton.

I had to post a review of this pharmacy. I have used the Walgreens on the corner of South Chicago and Drexel Roads over 10 years without any problems until this past year. I needed a refill of my blood pressure medication a couple of days before my prescription was due for a refill on December 8 and I would run out. I requested a refill from the pharmacy on December 5 even though I had no refills left because the pharmacy because the pharmacy usually contacts the doctor’s office. I received an email on December 5th “ACTION REQUIRED: Your refill request was not approved by the prescriber”. I called my doctor’s office and they said that they had approved it. I tried calling my doctor’s office again but was in a Catch 22 because the message said that if I was out of refills to call the pharmacy and that they would contact the doctor. I went to the pharmacy and asked them to please do the needful to get my refill. The tech that was new asked a more senior tech what to do- this tech was very tall with long brown hair. The tech said that I needed to call the doctor’s office. I said that the doctor’s office had a message to call the pharmacy. The tech went on to say that there was nothing he could do to help- same answer as before during another incident. Then this tech proceeded up and down the aisle looking for their cell phone while saying “I cannot get into the system all my passwords are in my phone.” I left the pharmacy without my blood pressure medications and a raised blood pressure. I emailed my doctor to send a prescription to a different pharmacy. I would have probably suffered a stroke while waiting for my blood pressure meds from this pharmacy.I received an email this morning on December 27th (For a prescription I had refilled those last on December 8th) that I had a prescription waiting to be picked up for Atorvastatin (I do not do auto refills and there was no mention of my blood pressure meds) and the Price was $371.29. I called them and told them I do not use their pharmacy any more. The level of service at this pharmacy has deteriorated.

Worst Walgreens pharmacy ever!!’ There has been countless mistakes with my medications, numerous times. Last time they gave me “60” with only 30 pills inside, so I had to go back and they had to “view the camera footage” before giving me the extra 30 pills they owed me. And that’s only one situation out of countless!!! I’ve had to wait days to a week for my refills. This place and the pharmacist is horrible. The manager of the pharmacy is even worse. She’s rude and disrespectful. I don’t know how she works in customer service. Worst experience with Walgreens pharmacy for months now. Finally I had my doctor switch Walgreens. Thank god!!! Do not fill here!!

Pharmacist Rachel refused to dispense my covid antiviral for what I can only assume are her personal/political beliefs. My MD personally called and provided her the additional information she was requesting and she still refused to fill. I also ordered 8 covid tests through my insurance company which they also failed to dispense. This pharmacy is a mess please avoid at all costs.

Every employee in this pharmacy is incompetent. They lose people’s perscriptions, can’t send the right forms to doctors, don’t tell customers the right information they need and they don’t fill prescriptions on time so people with heart peoples or other medical issues go without until they feel like filling them. Then to top it off they blame it all on computer problems each and every time. I understand why everyone changes to a different pharmacy. Idiots

Kinda over priced with their products, but I guess that’s why you don’t go grocery shopping there.But come on, in what world is 2 sodas for 4 dollars a sale? Thats bonkers.Their pharmacy is also kinda whack. On numerous occasions I have asked them to call me/message when my prescription was ready, and they didn’t.. I never seemed to have this issue at other Walgreens before.I like it because it’s local and close to home. The staff seems friendly, and the store is clean, so that’s cool.

Had a problem which I tried to resolve. Management is rude and had instant attitude. I get your job is difficult but you don't need to be rude to everyone who walks through the door with questions. The same thing could have been said without attitude and been a lot more effective! Try harder Walgreen's!!!

The WORST walk in clinic I have ever been to. The lady at the desk was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable but the "Doctor" was a NUT!!! She had NO clue what she was doing or how to handle any questions. We wasted 70 for a physical that she could not even finish. She had to send her notes to his doctor and had all of the information mixed up and backwards from what she told us in the room. Our doctor looked at her notes and was very disappointed that someone could be so inexperienced. They don't even allow you to use your insurance so you have to pay out of pocket. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I love the pharmacy but the clinic should be shut down or restaffed.

Waiting 3 days for prescription to be filled is ridiculous! Told because people are getting flu shots. Then put more staff on! This would never happen at other walgreens. Switching to a different pharmacy

Although I work across the parking lot, I’d much rather drive to the Walgreens on Ryan road. They are much nicer there. This store is great, the pharmacy is not, really rude, extremely slow and unhelpful!

Pharmacist was very combative when i called to inquire about the delay in filling my refill. The walgreen automated system told me that they were attempting to reach my doctor for a refill verification.NO SUCH THING HAPPENED. I then had to go without my medicine which is not good at all. Thwy dropped the ball big time. No call to the doc, and no call to let me know about the problem and no intrest in helping...

Went to get some 35mm film developed, who ever they send that film out too only developed 8 out of 30 of the photos in the film. Thanks for ruining some of the most important moments of my vacation. I’d give zero stars if I could.

This is the 1st Walgreens I have seen the pharmacy close for lunch 1:30-2:00, So it looks like this place is majorly under staff constantly running out of supplies for prescriptions II think somebody needs to come and reevaluate this law re evaluate this location

Pharmacy waited all day to said that the don't have the prescription, at the end of the day they put a call out to the doctor and now an important and needed antibiotic medication will have to wait till they ordered yet they waited all day to say what was going on and after various calls because they didn't even call.... I'm calling my doctor to change from this place, never again!

Walgreens always has what I'm looking for. The variety of products and needs, whether it be toiletries, gifts, prescriptions etc. they always have what I'm looking for. Their online shopping option is fantastic as well!
