That pick’n’save is absolutely disgusting. The manager there, Jody, is a bully. He always talks down to his employees, he’s abusive, conniving and threatening. Everyone who works there hates him and he is the reason why everyone is leaving that store. I highly discourage anyone to go shopping there.

Picked up donuts for coworkers this morning 1/19/24. I purchased 2 dozen. Just picked random ones from the display. Turned out pretty much every donut was old an stale. Kind of bad for 7:30 in the morning. Now I know why they discount donuts on Friday. Left overs from the week

Everyone working is relatively nice & happy. P&S is usually more $ than some other places, but convenient. I buy the cooked food semi often but DANG, the food is super salty recently.

Update, went today december 2023 and as all too often half the self checkout lanes were closed. Went to get milk and most of the kroger brand whole milk half gallons were a week past sell by date or a couple dated today , again. Every one in the long lines were complaining about how frequently this is happening and how manager is never at store. Don't see this problem very much at all with most other grocery stores. This is the worst of the closest 5 pick and saves by a large margin. And don't put all the blame on employees that don't show up. Comes down to managementSelf checkout registers by veggie section are closed way too often lately and other side lines get very long. Often only one regular checkout open. Been this way for a couple months.

Love this store was late on a carpet cleaner vacuum rental and they were so sweet and didn't charge me extra I got help from Kaitlyn and Mia at the service counter . Everyone in the store are always working hard and r polite and always have a smile on . Shoutout to Mia and Kaitlyn thanks so much girl u made my rough morning a little bit easier. These are two employees you definitely don't ever want to let go!

The picture says it all. Mushy soggy tomato and a sliver of a piece of wilted soggy lettuce. Who makes these?? This has to be the 5th or 6th sandwich I’ve gotten that looks similar to this one. There easy grab and go for lunches, but I won’t be purchasing these again anytime soon.

I drove there because Google said they close at 11 pm, only to be be denied entry at 10 pm because they are closing. Super disappointing to waste my gas and time because the store cannot be bothered to update their hours accordingly. I mean it’s common sense, nearly everyone uses Google to determine a business’ hours. I wasn’t even offered an apology or any sympathy for my inconvenience.

Needs new management. Passing by about 8-10 employees meandering, I went to customer service and asked if there’s a rhyme or reason why half the store’s self-help registers closed down and the lady, chewing gum, said “cause we ain’t got no people to cover it” and said normally it closes at 8, but today it stopped at 2. Took an extra 10 mins for me to check out my 3 items because they have one person on the self checkout on main side of the store that went to help another customer and other customers waited for help. One person helping in a register (which is rare to even have) and that was backed up as well.I come here a LOT. There are a lot of problems at this picknsave and I could write a book with the problems with management here. From what I have seen, they don’t pay their employees well, in my opinion, so I don’t blame the workers, but they need new management ASAP that does. Keep the good employees and fire the ones wasting everyone’s time and the owner’s money.

I ALWAYS find expired products. Take a look under their product shelves, you’ll get an idea of how dirty this place is. Also, young employees stand around doing nothing. Didn’t happen on just one occasion, it happens often. And yes, the pic is of a tortilla with MOLD!

If I could give a negative star rating I would! I just moved to this area literally 1 week ago and was so excited to see there was a Pick 'n Save literally 2 blocks from my new apartment. My first trip to this store was a joke! I went in around 4:30 pm for some simple ingredients to make chicken soup and literally left my cart in the middle of the bakery area and walked out so disappointed! I wasn't able to find anything I needed or wanted because nothing was in stock. How is it that there isn't a single rotisserie chicken available at 4:30 pm? The prime time people start heading in to grab a quick dinner for their family. I was however able to find some organic carrots but chose not to purchase them because they were spongy and squishy feeling. At this point, I was already fed up because I had worked all day and just wanted to quickly grab what I needed and go home to cook dinner. I said to myself, "I will never go back here again."

Produce department is always trashed and empty. Scrawny bruised cucumbers etc. I struggled to find two usable tomatoes. Even though I’m a mile away, I’ll drive an extra few miles to go somewhere else.

I’ve never written a review for a grocery store but I’m so disappointed in the produce. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to buy grapes that were frozen then thawed. They were translucent & mushy , purple, green & black were all yuck. This was now 2 weeks in a row the grapes were terrible. I think they are transporting or storing them in a freezer instead of a refrigerator? The tomatoes were all soft & wrinkled as well. We are paying top dollar these days for all our products no one is going to buy produce that looks or feels like it was frozen then thawed. Come on pick n save, pick up yur game & don’t allow garbage produce to be stocked. I’ve been buying my produce at Aldi’s after seeing how Pick n Save lacks in quality control. I would rather not have a grape option than stock garbage looking & feeling produce. Piggly wiggly has been known for soft & old produce as well. I chose not to spend my hard earned dollars on non quality products.

Expensive prices not enough lanes open ever get rid of self checkouts. They always break down, hire more cashiers. It’s been understaffed for more then 5 years. Think of your customers and don’t overwork your employees.

I normally don’t leave reviews but this is now at least the third time I’ve gone into the store and wanted sliced cheese and was told that they took the slicer apart already because it was slow the deli is supposed to be open till 8pm and it was only 6pm and they had it all apart most people work till 4/5 and then you have the people that work till 7 sometimes not everyone can get there by 3pm to get their stuff..

I am so proud to go to this store,and have it as my local pick n save! The team members are doing everything possible to keep us safe. I feel there compassionate,kind spirit! The are giving the best service and keeping everything clean,and sanitized. Thank you so much for everything you do! This is the store in the area,I trust the most! Thanks again!

I pick up groceries every Saturday for one of my patients. The staff, especially David, is kind, courteous, and super efficient. They do an excellent job and are always prompt and prepared with my order. I highly recommend the Curbside Pickup Service at Pick 'n' Save in South Milwaukee.

I used the pick up service and was very disappointed. I had to wait over 15 minutes for the carrier to bring my groceries out. Before I picked my groceries up the charge was already taken out of my account. The money was taken out before I got the notice that 5 items they didn't have. When I got home the correction to my back account was fixed. I called 3 times asking to speak to the manager and she never answered the call. It's the next day my account hasn't received the refund and the manager still hasn't called me.

I was told before that if I had a lot of groceries in my cart I could tell one of the staff to open a register to help me out. I did that today (7:40am) and was told that they didn’t open the registers until 8:30am.First of all, I guess I missed the sign saying there are only self service registers open before 8:30am.Second, I was told that no one was there to open a register and the manager was doing her books .... (?) as far as I know, costumers should come first. The manager, Caitlin, did come out to help other costumers. She saw the staff who was helping me was helping like two other costumers at once, and the manager instead of calling someone else for help she stuck to her one costumer and left the lady who was helping to by herself.by the time I was on my way out of the store, the manager was talking and laughing with another staff on the other self service registers.It took me longer to have my groceries in bags (30minutes because the person who was at the self service registers kept going back and forth helping other costumers).This store is going downhill. And is a pitty since this is the closest to my house. I don’t have the luxury of other people to do my grocery at any time of the day...

As we get more competition for our grocery dollars, I quickly realize how bad Pick n' Save has become. Recent changes to what they stock and a single cashier line at check-out really empowers me to go anywhere else but here. Hopefully, Kroger has some insight on making some drastic changes.Only saving grace is that the staff is pleasant and helpful.

Would you like literally just vegetable oil and seasonings on your wings?... That's what you'll get here... I don't usually buy "grab & go," ready to eat foods, and I certainly won't make that mistake here again. Service was nice.

Horrible staffing Staff more in your Deli, Cashiers, Stockers, Open your other entrance you close it at 8 that’s a Fire Hazard. Hire more cashiers!!!!! Hire more in the Deli. Your manager Karen is rude very rude.

The store is usually well-stocked and the meats are always great. Staff is very friendly and there is one lady in particular who works the Customer Service in the AM, weekdays, who knows her job and has all of the answers if there is a problem. She has a slight accent, but is definitely one of the hardest workers in the South Milwaukee store. There is one checkout clerk, young who never greets you, never talks and stands there like you have to instruct her what to do next. Otherwise this is a great place, especially in the lunch meat counter.

Pretty good grocery store with good selection. They have sales that can't be beat. Easy in and out with no long lines at register. Best store to go to when you just need a dozen or so things.

The lady Dayona has no business behind the service counter. When you ask for 4.00 in a lottery ticket an tell her the same ticket an she prints you a draw as she put it an you tell her that's not what you asked for then she wants to get snappy cause she said I asked you if you wanted a draw an you said yes. I let her know I told you two tickets on the same ticket an that I know what 2 tickets mean. Very poor additude for her misunderstanding me an she said draw not me. Then she proceeded to tell me well now I'm just going to print you separate tickets as she did. She doesn't belong at a service counter being snappy.

First time to this Pick N Save. Worst one I ever been too. Went thru at like 3pm. Bathrooms were dirty and stunk. All 3 stalls were scary looking with unflushed toilets and tp on the floors. I always get fresh shrimp/crab salad from the back meat area in Pick N Saves. I looked at it and the shrimp looked really weird. So I asked to taste it first. I spit it out immediately! Oh it was rancid!!! Horrible experience stopping at the South Milwaukee Pick N Save 🤮

I like this Pick n' Save. It reminds me of the days when the stores were new, bright and still carrying all the products I have come to expect. Regrettably the 'Kroger's' overhauls are leaving much to be desired. Visit this uncorrupted store and relax, your items are there, ol' reliables and the new.

Morning of Jan. 3 2019 at 7:20 am, had my cart full of items and not one register was open to check me out, all were self service. Saw an employee just standing around and I ask if any resisters were open the reply was "Nope". Needless to say I will shop elsewhere in the morning, many great choices around Drexel Town Square.
