Vicky is a great dog groomer!! We have been bringing my Pomeranians to her for years and she always does a great job whether it’s trimming her nails, or shaving the dog for the summer time she always comes out cute! She also has great prices I definitely recommend her!! She recently moved her business to her home in Wisconsin and she’s so great that we don’t have a problem driving to her!

Whoever owns this place is RUDE! I request a quote for grooming. And this is exactly what they said. "I'm not taking any more new clients at this time!" Well, excuse me for requesting a quote. You shouldn't even have that option. I don't want them to take care of my baby anyway after them getting mad about asking for a quote. Who knows what they're doing over there

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast Vicki groomed my dog. I dropped her off expecting to pick her up in 2-3 hours like most places. My dog was done from top to bottom in an hour! I'm so glad I found Affordacare Pet Grooming! My dog is still excited to go see Vicki which is a huge switch from the "brakes" she put on at other places. A happy dog is a happy owner. 🤗

We brought our 4 month old puppy, Silas, in for his first grooming experience. Stephanie was absolutely wonderful and it was easy to see that she is amazing with pups! The dogs are treated well, Excellent prices, and a very cute haircut. If you want a place that offers quality, good service, and a job well done for your pup, this is the place to go. We will be returning!!!

I have to say that this is the greatest dog groomer that I have ever used! She is fast, does things exactly to your liking, and she is very knowledgeable about dogs! And the dogs love her! One of my dogs used to literally run up to the door to get in! I have been going to Affordacare for over 25 years now. I recommend this company to any dog owner 100%!

Vicky is outstanding! We have been using her for years and she is just the nicest person and great with our dog Sam. The downside is she is no longer in Oakdale you now have to cross the river to see her. Very nice shop, very clean, at her home. She is now outside Somerset. We ate at Kennedy‘s café in downtown Somerset while we waited for our puppy to be done. Very nice place , breakfast and lunch, closes at three I think.

No idea if their grooming is good. I went to get nails trimmed for my dog, but got denied immediately. They don't have time for walk-ins. Ok, can I make an appt to come back? Nope. Gotta walk-in for nails. Uhhhh. What? I get that they make their most money from grooming, but man, if this is how they roll, I can't trust them. Just a poor way to do business. Banfield let's me walk in and has always trimmed nails on the spot, immediately. And cheap.

I was unaware of a "24 hr cancellation notice" and did call to reschedule... however, was told to find somewhere else due to this policy they have. I have a great suggestion... how about you have your staff members inform new customers of this rule you have so you don't get bad reviews for being rude and lose business you never had or potential future business of other customers?! 0 stars if possible. Gladly will find a new place:)

Great grooming service, very affordable! I drop my dog off and pick him up an hour later with a perfect hair cut. Does not bathe dogs though.

Does anyone know if Stephanie is still open? She was a great groomer, however, I never asked if she would remain open after her pregnancy, or close and be with her child. Would love to go back.
