The Mercantile is awesome!! The staff is so friendly, and the prices are not bad! It has everything you could need when you're up at the cabin. Very grateful to have them just a hop and a skip away from the cabin when we are suddenly in need of a shop vac, decor for the cabin, a gift for a friend, outdoor patio furniture, guns, fishing stuff and more!!

This is your everything store. It’s a hardware store complete with chainsaws and plumbing supplies. Fishing rods and gear. Camping supplies. Lawn and garden. Men’s skincare. A gift shop with candles, room sprays and cozy socks. And plenty of adult beverages for everyone’s pleasure. Need new log siding for your cabin? Came for the “clean bathroom” signs on the highway, stayed for the garden center, fishing supplies, and northwood gifts. Worth driving past Dollar General for a bathroom. Great selections for decorating or tools/ paint for sprucing up your lake house.

$16 a dozen for lrg sucker minnows, everywhere else is $10-12 a dozen, prices went up with the new owner and quality decline, owner is taking advantage for being the only hardware store outside of superior in the area, done doing business here.

Recently visited during a camping trip in the area. Needed some 1/8” cable and crimping parts to fix the lift system on our Coleman pop-up camper. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me find what I needed for my repairs. This place has everything you would need anytime.

I love coming here to pick up the guns I purchase from online retailers, the 40 minute drive is a bit long but I'm always excited to pick up my new hardware. Friendly and knowledgeable staff at the gun counter and that's why I'm stopping by for my shotgun and some ammo first thing tomorrow!

Knowledgeable service everytime we need it. It has a little bit of everything. They have nice alcohol collection, bait, ammo, tools, garden supplies, yard decor, bird feeders, fishing gear, dog food. The list could go on. If you're looking they probably have it.

I doesn't matter what I go to the Merc for, I always enjoy looking around. They've helped me out quite a few times with finding the correct deck stain, right chainsaw blade, you name it. Looking forward to my next trip to get supplies for my new pellet grill. Great place.

I love the coffee shop! There is a young lady there who is so friendly and always remembers how I like my drinks, and if I want to change something she is more than willing to help. She always remembers I want soy even when I forget to ask for it. I love the blended chai teas and the smoothies are fabulous!It seems like no matter what we need, if they Mercantile doesn't have it in stock they are happy to see if they can order it for us. They are the only ones who have what we need for our "Soda Stream".Plus, they are so willing to help. My elderly mother will buy bird seed and they not only deliver it to her but carry it right out to the shed for her.They have some of the nicest people who work there. Maybe they aren't perfect, but they sure try hard and are willing to go the extra mile to help.
