Highly recommend this pizza place! Fun atmosphere (we could watch the pizza guys tossing the crusts in air) excellent service and most importantly the food was delicious. Fire oven cooked pizza was scrumptious we got the DLux and I loved the sauce- flavorful but not over the top. We also had the bread basket which was a very generous portion of a fun variety of different breads, flatbreads, garlic rolls, cheesy rolls and pizza crust puffs. There were just 2 of us so we brought a bunch home but so fun to try all.Cannot wait to return to Door County to go again!!

CHEESE CURDS TO DIE FOR/FROMThis popular pizza place on main street was full to bursting when I popped in, so I plumped for takeaway cheese curds. Those little taste bombs of squeaky goodness that should be enjoyed very occasionally. They were good and filling. Three stars because it was takeaway.

Terrific pizza and cherry walnut salad! We liked the Mediterranean pizza on our first night and the Thai Pie was even better on our 3rd night. The salad was amazing both times. Excellent service both times. If there is a wait, you get a buzzer and there is a bar and the beach right behind the restaurant. Definitely with a try if you are in Door County.Dietary restrictions: Lots of veggie and gluten free options available.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in my life, and I’ve had many pizzas across the US and Europe! We had a large Mediterranean pizza, and three slices had me STUFFED. The restaurant does not skimp on toppings, and the ingredients were high quality - the pesto was delicious, and the artichoke hearts were my favorite. It was perfectly cooked as well, not too crunchy or too soggy. I’d highly recommend this restaurant on a beautiful summer day. One thing to be aware of - seating fills up QUICKLY and our pizza took 30 minutes to get to the table. Make sure to get there around 5pm if you don’t want to have too long of a wait before the first bite.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I would never have thought that broccoli or spinach belong on a pizza, and I'm very happy to admit that I'm wrong. The green and gold Pizza is truly delicious.The Wood-Fired Bread Basket was amazing. There is not one piece of bread in there that I did not enjoy.The salad was amazing! I did not expect dried cherries to have that large of an impact in a salad, but here we are.

Always a delight when coming up to Door County to one night have wild tomato takeout. My family and I had the wood-fired bread basket, which was amazing as the dips were delicious too. So with that, I expected the pizza to be great. However, there were some disappointments to be had. My family and I had the D-lux pizza. However, we had no sausage, and barely any pepperoni. No idea if there was any extra cheese. However, it was still very delicious.

The meal was great we ate the first cooked pizza of the day. We had the Green and Gold pizza which was fantastic. The only thing that concerned me was the fact my mother asked for a lemon in her tea and they were not ready with lemons. After asking multiple times for a lemon we finally got one. The flowers outside were gorgeous and had to take some great pics!

Having never been to the thumb of Wisconsin, this restaurant is a solid place to stop. The cheese curds were on point and the wood fired Margherita pizza. The taste and texture of the crust reminded me of some of the New York style pizza I've had in NYC. Pretty good standards considering pizza coming out of the Midwest. Not to mention this place has pretty good location situated on the main strip of Sister Bay

I’ve eaten at the other location several times over the years but this was our first time at this one.We ordered and picked up at the Sister Bay location. We appreciated this option to avoid a long wait at the restaurant. The order taker was efficient and friendly. The estimated time for pickup was accurate. There were 15 minute parking spots near the pickup door which was a wonderful surprise!Be aware that if you choose to pay with a credit card the business is going to charge 2.75% extra for this. Fortunately I had cash to avoid this charge. This seems to be happening at many restaurants recently and I am not in favor. It is sneaky way to nickel and dime customers. I’d rather just have the price be realistic.The pizza was fresh from the oven. We got a large deluxe. I saw it cut and boxed. There were plastic cups of shaved Parmesan cheese and packets of crushed red pepper flakes available (free). The box top is designed to be torn (perforated) into four “plates.” Nice touch.The pizza itself was mediocre. The crust was crisp and the toppings were fresh. The downside was the fact that the veggies outnumbered the meat toppings and they were not evenly dispersed. Two of the six toppings were meat but there was barely any meat on the pizza. I’m not sure we had any pepperoni at all. Most of all it was bland tasting. It could have used salt but unfortunately we didn’t have any. The cheese wasn’t salty either.We’ve had friends tell us how wonderful this pizza is, and having read many of the reviews here our expectations maybe were unreasonably high. It was good, but not spectacular. Overall, adequate but underwhelming.

At Wild Tomato Wood-Fired Pizza & Grill Sister Bay — Wild Tomato-Sister bay- I just gotta say WOW! This place is killing it in the Pizza game. I spent a bit of the day there talking to the staff, eating in drinking beer. I’d like actually mention some staff. First Miguel from the wait staff is one of the best I’ve ever met. He had it right on, from the top. Max in the back yard beer bar was killing. He know his product and had answers for any question. Last is Julia she is learning to be a stone cold assassin. In a week she will be killing. Now, the Bread plate for an appetizer, crazy as it comes. Portion size, and sauce accompaniment is amazing. The pizza Standard, Margarita. It had some sag, and nearly no crunch on the crust but flavor was not off the chain, it was not able to be restricted by a chain from the get go. The atmosphere is starting to form the list, on near top of the list or anything. The local beer selection is amazing, more great selection than most places with Beer in the name. This place is getting top rating, but I’d like to see a little more crisp on the crust, it would be a solid 8.7. We visited for the first time on 10/24/22. Food was amazing! Staff was great. We ordered the Parmesan knots for an appetizer and they were so light and airy! Their marinara is excellent! For the pizza we ordered the Green & Gold pizza, it had broccoli, spinach, chicken, bacon, with cheese curds on top! So good!!

Their wood-fired pizzas are delicious! All the staff are super nice, and seem to be enjoying themselves and having a great time. Inside atmosphere is nice, a bit on the loud side (due to it being pretty packed), and there is outdoor seating available too.

It’s really good place for pizza but I would like to highlight that please treat every custom equal when it comes to servicing. I don’t want to mention what happened just because of one staff member but again that staff is representing this place. Please reiterate this to staff members who’s treating ppl unequal or keep an eye to ensure the fix.Vegetarian options: Veggie Pizza was so good

Ok. We'll admit it. Like a lot of folks, we were coming to dine at Al Johnson's Swedish restaurant across the street. Unfortunately, we were met with a 2.5 hour wait for our group of 5. Looking for alternatives, we found ourselves at Wild Tomato just as they opened at 11. We're glad to found them.One of our kids can be hard to please when it comes to food, but he called our pizza at Wild Tomato his favorite meal of the trip. Lots of open seating inside and out, friendly staff and a fun, hip vibe. We also enjoyed watching the pizza chefs working their magic on the giant ovens.We highly recommend Wild Tomato if you're looking for a bite in Sister Bay. Take pictures of the goats... But keep walking to Wild Tomato.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options for GV and vegan diners. Wait staff was receptive to our needs.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu staples like mac and cheese, pizza, and noodles.

Delicious! We had the cheese curds as an appetizer (yum) and the Green and Gold pizza for our main course (YUM). Some of the best crust we’ve ever had (we’re picky about our crust), and the overall flavor was perfection. Everyone was so friendly! It was also nice being close to the beach for a nice sunset stroll after dinner. We would definitely come back next time we’re in the area.

AMAZING WOOD FIRED PIZZA!!!Saw this place had good reviews so we figured we give it a shot and I am soooo glad we did! We tried the El Diablo, Paisano, and the Green and Gold and all three were some of the best pizza I’ve ever had (and I’m a BIG Pizza Lover!) My fav was the Green and Gold but they were all Top Notch! I don’t remember the Servers name but, he was a big help and you can’t ask for a better spot for some pie!!! 🍅🍕🔥

Excellent pizza! We had a Wisconsin themed green and gold pizza with cheese curds, broccoli, spinach, and bacon on it which was delicious! You can order one of their wonderful specialty pizzas, or customize one to your liking. All the ingredients tasted very fresh and our order came out pretty quickly. We will be back!

Always a good experience here! The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and the people are always so accommodating! We have allergies and they always take that into account! The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The pizza is always amazing definitely recommend!Dietary restrictions: Very friendly waiter helped with allergies. They used different utensils to cut and serve pizza.
